ALM Quality center was the first project management tool I ever used and was pretty impressed at first. We can use it right from requirement gathering to defect tracking for every single step.

In our company we use test case for run and defect.

It only works on IE, which is the slowest browser and has the annoying habit of auto logout that is non configurable.

It does a good job, and it is easy to locate the requirements that you are looking for. Test can be set to be run for a specific release, and test results can be tracked.

The other issue, is it is difficult to track Enhancements. Any enhancements, unless directly corresponding to a new requirement, is difficult the other information about that enhancement.

Mapping all the way from Requirement to Test plan to Test lab and finally the defects.

Good tool to have a centralized place for your application lifecycle.

I love this tool for test Management and highly recommend to other if you can manage the cost. It’s an easy web based tool for requirements management, test planning, execution and defect reporting.

Pricing of the Product is on the higher side discourages lot of customers shy away from it especially when there are other Low cost options available.

The ease of use with the tracking and the inbuild functionality of generating the reports.

I really dislike how it is only supported on internet explorer.

I like the ease of use with QC and it has end to end traceability. It is fast and reliable.

That is the only feature that I find a little awkward to use.

Sometime it failed to download components while opening in browser due to access level issue. Unfortunately, no support to major automation tool selenium.

It has great features like cloud test execution, multi browser testing, database connection, REST calls, cloud run and can configure test scripts through Jenkins to fit into CI/CD pipeline.

Integrates well with JIRA and saves so much time.

Subject 7 is a great tool for automation. It does not require  testers to have the knowledge of programming.

There is no online forum for the Subject7 tool.

Each category is saved in a centerlized repository and can be accessed when ever it's needed. Ability to execute test cases locally and on-cloud.

I love this software for automation as you get everything in a single package. Automation framework was never a easy task to maintain but with subject7 it is possible now.

Many inbuilt features make our life simpler with data management and execution of test cases. Tool is pretty responsive even when you add 1000+ test case in the repository.

Local Player -upgrades sometimes creates problem.

The support team is very helpful in terms of  resolving any issues, answering to queries or customizing features in tool to meet client needs.

The UI is very user friendly and the reporting is very detailed to allow for quick debugging.

It is user friendly and will cover full automation for the testing requirements. You can build your automation test scripts by using the inbuilt commands within the tool.

Supporting custom java code. Tester can upload their desired jar files and run them.

Unlike many of peers in this field, I don't know how to automate using selenium and java language. I been able to create complex scenarios to fit my automation testing needs for multiple systems.
