Very flexible and mordern platform, superior customer support
Most of our daily work is now automated, we save a lot of time and manpower! This means we can scale up our business at no cost.
PROS- customer support (24h) - they do everything to match your demands - modern, state-of-the-art software - price/value you get a lot for your money - they support you beyond the purchase We're really happy about our choice as we never experienced such a great support with any other software we tested - and believe me we had several trial accounts. But what's the biggest plus: They we're able to fully customize the software for our requirements - and they still do.
CONSAs we're in the German market, we needed to translate a lot manually - and there are still some flaws we need to tackle. Furthermore you should be prepared to spend some time with the software, to fully undestand it as they built in so many features.

Exploring New Horizons
Overall experience is great. I believe the opportunity to have someone always willing to help and available to work with my and be able to answer any questions. I really appreciate having [sensitive content hidden] working with me to train me and to be available to explain each feature available. I think is the best experience, I work with a lot of other companies and they do not have that excellent interaction with their partners. Once I buy the product they just tend to forget and move on. When you ask a question to other companies they look at you as I am a stranger. HQ Rental Software, and Benjamin Carril had made an outstanding experience for my company.
PROSFirst, it was the connection with the sales manager. Then, i received the training and still the attention to answer all my questions. [sensitive content hidden] stays on top of the training and he is very helpful, and always replies to my emails and also he is on top of our meetings to review any questions and to continue to help me to use all the tools that i have available so my business is success. The software is very friendly user. One of the things that my customer's like is the steps when booking their vehicle. From step 1 to Step 7 when picking up their vehicle. The email they receive once booked. Also, the different language available to provide better understanding when booking,.
CONSI think when integrating additional insurance and the rental charge. Two different transactions, and the confusion that creates when customer gets charged, and also the money not being sent to the correct account.

Price was very good. [sensitive content hidden] never gave up on my company. He continue to call me and to try to answer any questions or concerns about the product. He also explained that my company will receive the training and that my company will have someone that will always be available to work with.

Maintenance issue
Calendar and speed , customer issue , online payments ,
CONSI used to use Rentcentric before , it has really good maintenance dashboard to use for repairs , but HQ software does not provide it , you will never know when you need maintenance. Thats make to many bad feedbacks from customers , you rent car with maintenance light on and its not good for company. Almost 5 month I am using this system , they haven’t fix this issue , I believe they don’t even understand that how works

Extremely Customizable and Great Quality
Excellent service all around, no pushy sales tactics and very helpful. Support is very quick and responsive. Our first two support tickets were cleared within 1-2 hours for a low priority request.
PROSWe can everything and anything that we set out to do in this software from reservations to reporting and management.
CONSIt is complicated to set up on your own but they offer excellent support if you want to have them do everything for you. They also have an amazing documentation for set up to assist you. Barely a con.

Rentall support was awful, the service wouldn't work half the time and there were loads of errors and bugs.

Great Value, Endlessly Optimizable System, Wonderful Customer Support
I switched to HQ from a different car rental software that was more expensive and far less flexible. I have been so happy with HQ so far. Between the price (half of what I was paying before) and the functionality of the system, my work load has gone down and my rentals have gone up as the booking engine is better and it is easier for guests to book.
PROSThis software has fantastic funtionality. It can do everything needed for a well run car rental business, including a great online booking engine. I especially love the ease for the customer to book online and how it captures all the info I need from them. The system allows for near endless tweaks meaning I can set it up exactly how I want, including sending scheduled email and sms messages. This has been great for my car rental business as all of my vehicles are remote pick up so I have particular needs. Great Customer support.
CONSBecuase the system can be so personally optimized, it is a big software. It takes time to learn. Out of all the softwares I have set up, this has probably taken me the longest to learn and remember where all the settings are. It does have a decent Help section which helps, but I think it could be improved for those who like to learn and do the set up themselves. Customer Support is extremely helpful and quick to respond though.

Coastr did not have many of the features I wanted and was too expensive.
