Working with Team Point

Overall, my experience working with Team Point has been very positive. The system is easy to use but sophisticated at the same time. The worksheets produce by Team Point are of a high quality. Customer support team have been very accommodating and open to suggestions to improve the system to work well with our processes.

PROS

Clear, user friendly system. The feature I like most about team point is the ability to attach documents, images and videos to individual jobs and also to add contact information for all staff including telephone numbers. Also, the ability to add client specific protocols and export data to produce reports

CONS

Not being able to click on the quote number to take you back into the quote from the schedule.

Reasons for switching to TeamPoint

The company out-grew the software. Whilst great in the past, the system was dated and cumbersome after time. A more modern system was required

Very positive. I have used many systems and have implemented and updated other systems as a tester and find this system is very user friendly.

PROS

Ease of use. Clear overview of company activity. Clear communication from developers when change is being made.

CONS

If I am using an option e.g. People and update a record, once finished the option defaults to jobs not the selected option people.

Last system used (Red Zebra) did not provide the functionality required as Defluo grew

Simple to use and great service.

Very good overall. The system is easy to use and the team are always committed to improve the system. This is important to keep driving our own business forward.

PROS

The system is simple to use. It stores relevant information and allows efficient tracking of jobs through to invoice. The team are also very responsive to changes requested within the system.

CONS

Allocation of revenue to a resource is something we are working to improve. It would be useful to report on what jobs each engineer has completed including margin achieved.

Reasons for switching to TeamPoint

Outdated system that wasn’t efficient and didn’t capture correct data.

Happy using team point, it is good for referencing all aspects of our business.

PROS

The ease of access and information on current and historical jobs for both the client and us as a company.

CONS

Sometimes it can be slow but maybe that's an us issue and not team point.

Reasons for switching to TeamPoint

Team point is more up to date and allows you to input more information, quotes , notes ect and records all inputs by either myself or colleagues.

Happy customer enjoy using this system

PROS

I like that its cloud based and you can simply run the whole operation from one website.

CONS

Only cons are the program when an engineer is in multiple teams in one week and the reoccurring old notes which i believe has been resolved plus having to reattached documents for each new job on a site

To get a a system where everything from ordering to programming can be done on one system.
