Failure in complex parts, need to check the logics manually.

The software helps you understand the cost drivers for your particular part so when you send your design out for quoting you can tell if the bids are the best or if further refinement is needed.

The ability to understand true cost for any negotiation is a plus.

Also the integration of software with the existing modeling tool is quite useful and easy to fetch the results for appropriate data.

So far very good and the tech mentoring for our company has been great.

A great tool for Purchasing to understand the details of cost breakdown and negotiate with suppliers on arguable parameters.

We have accomplished some successful cases with products ending in cost reduction negotiation. It is primordial to work together in order to get beneficial results.

The tool sometimes takes longer time to cost a component, lags while connecting to server. This will get worse as the complexity increases.

It struggles with parts containing tight GD&T. And when upgrading to a new version, it is a challenge to get up and running quickly.

There are sometimes editing features that can be a little difficult to access, if they are not used frequently.

This is a great tool for costing parts and tools. Great integration with other CAD tools.

Cost avoidance and estimation. DFMA reports very useful for Purchasing for their negotiations.

APriori has proven to be a very powerful tool with a lot of potential going forward. The support teams have generally been very helpful.

Like i said, it helped up to redure our quote time and it have improved our cost reduction skills.

I really like to customization capability. Someone without a programming background can easily edit and build their own cost models.

Problems when selecting welding joints. Problem to understand the formulas and calculations for the cost structures.

It's easy to use, easy to understand the processes and easy to make changes in a  great diversity of commodities.

Overall experience with apriori is very good, its very advanced costing tool and every-time whenever i go through their helping doc.

Good & Useful but still there is a scope for development.

It is also very helpful to distinguish between cycle time and setup time as this helps to highlight part volume as a cost driver.

There can be problems when extracting the tolerances, which means it has to be done manually.

Definitely it is user friendly if basic training is given to the user to utilize the available options with appropriate instruction.

I like how aPriori is easy to use and the interface is friendly.

DFMA on Extrusion process for some complex geometries is limited.

Very good for simple production processes. More complex production process under evaluation.

Good customization of values. Good auto identifying GCDs.

They have a very talented workforce and the Customer Support is EXCELLENT.

Overall, aPriori would be a great tool for any industry that is looking to excel in industry with right evaluated approach and good understanding of Cost of the product.

A great tool to create the collaboration and transparency between the supplier and  sourcing  to build Robust Supplier relationships.

Also CAD geometry identification is great feature that allows Engineering with limited knowledge of Costing, evaluate the part cost based on design features with good confidence level.

I like the ability to modify details the VPEs and processes to more accurately model unique processes and specific features of complex parts.

Good for accurate calculate, possibility to customize, mass data handling, easy to export, import.

It's great tool we almost now able to do more costing projects which is not earlier by using excel based costing ,great for making supplier based VPE it is saved lot time for quoting.

APriori is a very robust software and capable of intensive customization. It has been relatively easy for me to adjust processes or create new ones based on site requirements.

When discussing parts with engineering and with suppliers, it is incredibly useful to be able to drill down to specific operations and have discussions around tangible times and costs.

Customer support throughout setup and launch was excellent with a product specialist available onsite, phone and web-conference to help train our team and customize our environment.

Ability to use for multiple solutions in addition to Agile Project Management. I've been in the business for over 30 years and Clarizen Customer Care in the best I've experienced in a very long time.

The reporting suite is also very good and there seems to be a keen drive to continually improve the product.

It is an amazing project tracking system, has help us to improve the tracking of our projects and avoid delays.

The licensing model is confusing, not as advanced as Salesforce.

No integration with QuickBooks online Canada. No customization allowed with this tool.

Given its complexity, it is still very approachable and you can start using it right away, adding the more advanced features as you go.

No option for capturing project expenses against a project. Difficult to enter in dependencies, very repetitive task, rather than allowing for templates to be used.

The core PPM capabilities of Clarizen are very strong, but the biggest game change for us has been the 'custom objects' capability.

We researched for the best project management software app we could find and ended  up at Clarizen. It has the best features and an easy to use interface.

Super reporting capabilities. Use can create custime views which can be used for Project Meetings.

Excellent Value for money and user friendly staff.

Working with Clarizen is always easy, they are incredibly helpful and their Professional Services support is outstanding.

This has got to be the most important consideration in my opinion. There are many great features of Clarizen, the API, interact, social collaboration and much more.

Super easy to track and submit hours, including setting up as many projects as necessary.

I love the simplistic, yet advanced tools this platform provides. Clarizen has made project management easy for me and my team.

We needed to evaluate how we could best deliver a quick first time to value for our customers on our implementation team.

The new native mobile app is great. Customer support, access to training and, professional services are all excellent.

The licensing model is a bit awkward when adding licenses to an existing account. The Gantt functionality is outdated.

I just love the tool because of its social media integration capability, the realistic information which the software provides is just awesome.

You can assign the resources for a project easily, see their advance and request progress report.

As a PPM, there are still gaps (as of this writing) in some basic PPM functionality. The most glaring to me is the lack of Capacity Planning functionality.

Overall, so impressed with this platform. Excited to learn a ton at Clarizen @ Work to help tranform our company.

Another great feature we use a lot is the expansive and complex WBSs you can have for projects. This allowed us to have a better sense of project flow and visibility to where our projects are at.

Cloud based , good collaborative environment for project management activities like plan and workflow. Cost effective solution.

The vendor is very nice to deal with from a sales perspective, as well as with training. We are very pleased with Clarizen and will continue to use it after our initial subscription is up.

The most important thing that impressed me is the proximity of the Clarizen team. They are quick with to the point answers, very accessible and open to listen to your challenges.

We have used Clarizen for years and recommend it to all our clients. We are always asked for solutions that integrate with Salesforce.com and now we have a solution we can refer with confidence.

Its capability to be applied for wide applications and the customer support.

It was a disaster switching to Redbooth, and it was a major upgrade from Basecamp. Maybe it was too big of a jump for a smaller organization.

In short I would say it’s a great intuitive application to form new profitability reports and to create meaningful collaboration.
