Extremely Satisfied Customer
My initial rating of this program would have been an 8 out of ten due to "bugs" I had encountered while using program. However, the incredibly detailed customer service I received revealed most of those "bugs" to be user error, while the remaining ones were reacted to excitedly as an opportunity to improve the interface. This experience absolutely elevated my rating of scribble maps to a 10.
PROSThe first thing that stands out about scribble maps is that it's the first program I've used in the past 10 years that does everything I wished it would right out of the box (and that's saying something considering the ridiculous complexity of the maps I'm building). While it takes a bit of time to learn all of the tools, one you do Scribble maps makes you feel like a bit of a wizard with just what you can produce. I also really appreciate the very broad range of customization and data-tethering of the lines and markers. There's hundreds of styles to choose from of infinite sizes and colors, and all of it can be imbued with filterable attributes that make it easy to simplify a complex picture into something more easy to digest. Lastly, the customer service is really top notch. The level of detail they put in to their responses to my questions was truly impressive.
CONSThere are some inconsistencies in convention in some of the tools (i.e. the process to edit the size of a line is different then the process to edit the size of a marker) such that the user needs to put a little more effort into learning the interface. However once learned the program is as effective as you could wish for.
Reason for choosing Scribble Maps
For every other map program I looked at, there was some sort of fatal flaw or general limitation to the program that didn't allow me to do what I wanted to do. Whether it was the degree to which I could customize of markers, or the amount of data I could attach to those markers, or the ability to export/input data in an easy and useful way. Scribble maps was the one that could do it all.

The App had really help with data visualization and also help my company to delineate clearly the boundary of our distributors. This is currently saving us a lot. Thanks to scribble map, we are now able to optimize the sales reps' route.

Really good, I've used frequently for a long time. It helps me plan out boundaries for businesses which is my primary use of it. My favorite feature is letting lines link up which makes it easier to draw prefectly on a map.
PROSVery user friendly, the most accessible software to design and draw on maps. I also like being able to consult maps from my phone and laptop
CONSThe icons are ugly and could be better. There needs to be more detail on the maps. I sometimes have to have Google maps open on another tab to reference important locations such as train stations that aren't marked.

excelent product and a superb value
Scribble maps is a great product and an exceptional value it is the main mapping software i use now and have recommended to others because of its ease of use.
PROSScriblemaps ease of use is invaluable i have used major mapping software that is readily available and scribblemaps was so easy to pick up and has saved countless hours of my time.
CONSIts hard to find a least liked part of scribblemaps I have put it to the test and it constantly outperforms.
Reason for choosing Scribble Maps
We are a small agency and don't need a expensive route planning software for the 8 fixed routes we run here. I needed something that could produce a quality map and i can overlay points and parts of routes for the map. Scribble maps did everything i needed and was so easy to pick up it was a no brainer to get this in my tool box production time was cut and quality went up great product recommend to everyone who needs to create maps quickly, accurately and beautiful.
Reasons for switching to Scribble Maps
google maps is not user friendly and lacks allot of options that scribblemaps offer and i cut my production time for route maps down probably 75%. In the end i have a much cleaner product.

An unconventional application
As a researcher and author on military history, I needed a versatile product for creating maps that documented the history of military units during WWII. Scribble Maps proved to be a very intuitive, easy-to-use platform.
CONSThe search feature could be more robust. When trying to locate smaller towns/villages by name, the sometimes do not surface in search.

Use Scriblee Maps y ha sido fantástico
El Software me permitió en un principio generar mapas de manera gratuita con muchas funciones interesantes, sin embargo las opciones más atractivas requieren de un pago adicional, lo que en si es necesario porque son funciones más avanzadas, sin embargo la versión gratuita antes permitía descargar las capas elaboradas en KML, lo que menos me agrado fue que hayan eliminado esa alternativa, ya que el uso que le daba al Software era por su intuición y facilidad, su interface gráfica sencilla y a la vez muy útil a la hora de trazar rutas o delimitar zonas de control, luego exportaba las capas y las trasladaba al Arcgis o Qgiz para tener georreferenciado, sin embargo ahora ya no existe esa opción en la versión gratuita.
PROSEl Software es muy intuitivo, permite utilizarlo de manera sencilla, tiene un buen aspecto gráfico y las funciones de dibujar rutas, polígonos ha permitido en mi empresa generar mapas de límites para una mejor organización del trabajo y responsabilidad de cada Jefe de Área, es muy amigable su interface.
CONSActualmente en la versión gratuita ya no permite la exportación de mapas en formato KML, la cuál fue una función muy importante al momento de generar mapas, los mapas son fáciles de elaborar, requieren ir poco a poco familiarizándose con el Software sin embargo las últimas actualizaciones han restado está función, lo que ya no permite descargar capas en formato KML para su integración con Arcgis por ejemplo, algo que yo usaba muy comúnmente.

Mapping Properties
Very positive. The team listens and works to add features that users demonstrate a need for in their mapping work. The maps are the best for planning and maintenance, program use and property visioning. This is a great product for a large property owners, camps, farms and other land owners.
PROSThe ability to pull in a background map, add layers and places with details and create printed maps and online maps with accuracy and detail makes this my go to mapping tool for our properties.
CONSSome features are challenging and not always self evident.

Good Value. Great Support. Over-the-Moon Results!
Really, the support is the heart of making a custom map for the uninitiated. In this case, it is the support professional assigned to my account. [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. "Support" doesn't properly describe. Easier to say "on call friendly expert" So valued is the ease of expert communication and spot on help. The purpose I conveyed for my Schools and Communities Guide was immediately understood. Mutual solution navigation guided the Maps to fruition. Instructions were extraordinarily helpful. Zoom sessions can be recorded and replayed. Very cool!
PROSLayering and address importation is what I liked best about Scribble Maps. Custom maps for my online magazine has actually upgraded the value of my own product, enough to say, in fact, that my custom magazine business has been revolutionized. Truth. My sales price has doubled, from $20/month to $39.99/month. Customers are giving me all the credit, and it's a lot... and I like it, but it is the Map software driving this success. With the outstanding support, Scribble Maps is now easy to use after a brief learning curve.
CONSThere is nothing I do not like about the software. My firm's marketing target is straightforward. Scribble Maps hit the bulls eye, without burdening the process with unneeded functions.

Guests really like to see where they are travelling to and it helps people understand how large the African continent really is!

Great for mapping catchment area for non-profit busyinss
Absolutely great experience with this product so far!
PROSI use this software DAILY. SSES has consumers that are referred daily; it is our job to find in what catchment area the consumer lives and assign to the correct case manager. This process used to take me double the amount of time before ScribbleMaps was implemented. Before we were using paper maps, with colored pencil boarders!
CONSMapping out the original catchment area was probably my least favorite BUT that is not against the software. ScribbleMaps is very user friendly and easy to navigate.

CONSI find it difficult to use the add a photograph feature

Successful route planning
Once I learned it’s idiosyncrasies, it was a pleasure to use.
PROSThere are endless possibilities for color coding and adding customized reference points and labels. Very helpful suggestions are provided when adding a location to the map,
CONSIf you want to label a location, you are not offered a selection of your previous customized colors and formats.
