Extremely happy customer

Eltropy is wonderful to work with. They are really on top of things, care about their product, and care about their customers. They are knowledgeable and have very creative ideas. One of the best things about working with Eltropy is how open they are to our ideas for enhancing their product. They have already incorporated many of our ideas and updated their product based on our feedback. They are my favorite vendor to work with by far.

PROS

Having the ability to share files securely was the biggest selling point for us. This is something that was important to us and other options we looked into did not have this feature. Being able to integrate with our core was also key. Being able to track opt-ins in our core is key. Sending mass messages is very easy, and was also something we needed that Eltropy does well. I really like that you can save templated responses for our team to use. This helps with efficiency and consistency in responding to our members.

CONS

We wish that it could work with our current solution for routing calls and chats to our member service representatives. This is something we have high hopes of being able to do in the future.

Reason for choosing Eltropy

One key features Eltropy had over other options we were looking at was the ability to share files securely. Another selling point for us was their ability to integrate with our core. We also really love the fact that Eltropy was eager to enhance their product based on feedback, and work closely with us to help further improve and develop their solution.

Great Team/Great Product

Eltropy's staff is highly attentive to our needs and respond quickly to anything that we need. This is a big, big deal! They have experienced a great deal of growth and we have been on the platform for close to a year; however, their attention to our needs have not waivered a bit. Their outstanding product demonstrates their organization's culture: easy to work with and attention to detail.

PROS

This product is as easy to use as picking up your cell phone and texting a friend or family member. It opens up a way to communicate with our membership in a way that is convenient and valued by our members. Everyone texts!

CONS

I cannot think of anything. Great product, great team!

PROS

I like that it is user friendly and fairly easy to learn as well. It allows us to communicate with our customers in a new way, providing faster answers with the same level of service as on the phone.

Not sure if the software or our admins have the capability, but would love to see spam messages filtered better.

Fantastic text messaging solution

We chose Eltropy because its platform features a precise, easy to use format that we can utilize to not only market to our members, but also give them the ability to communicate with us personally and efficiently for any needs they might have. We were also very pleased to have the ability to use our existing phone number, as members were already familiar and comfortable with using this number. Within a week of signing the contract, we were up and running. The deployment and training process was extremely proficient, enabling us to launch the program on the same day as our initial kick-off call. Within a day of launching, we began receiving text messages from our members, requesting anything from loan information, to wanting to reset their online banking passwords. We use the software for insurance tracking, collections, lending, member services, and much more. Through the secure links, we've been able to greatly enhance our lending departments ability to collect paystubs, Driver's Licenses, registrations, and more. Our insurance tracking has been greatly enhanced with the ability to quickly and efficiently collect updated insurance information on our collateral. We've even used the software for emergency communications and marketing. It's been a great solution for us.

PROS

This is a very user friendly software that is quick and easy to implement, as well as learn to use. It has provided an excellent solution for collecting member information for our loan officers, as well as our collections and insurance departments. Our members love the ability to text the credit union.

CONS

I would like to see some additions to reporting. There are some very good reports that can be pulled, but I don't see a comprehensive report showing the number of texts sent/received. This would be helpful to have to tie back to the contract which is based upon usage.

Reason for choosing Eltropy

We did review other vendors before choosing Eltropy. We ultimately chose Eltropy as it was much more robust that competitors we had viewed, and the pricing was not much more expensive. We were thrilled to not only have the ability to communicate through text with our members, but use the platform in many other areas of the credit union that would greatly enhance our efficiency.

Reasons for switching to Eltropy

The existing product we were using was much more limited than Eltropy's platform. For example, it did not have the ability to receive texts from the members. It was only a marketing solution, which was not fulfilling our expectations or our needs.

Eltropy in a Pandemic

From the initial sales call to the training (and ongoing support), Eltropy has been a value added product that has increased our avenues to communicate with our members. We have had constant support from our team that answer questions quickly and effectively. Our employees continue to learn and use it in a variety of uses. We have been very pleased with our implementation of this product.

PROS

We implemented Eltropy at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was instrumental in us communicating with our membership with changes to operations, announcements, etc. It also was great for communicating one-on-one with members to get needed documents for new accounts and loans while our lobbies were closed. It has become a necessary tool for our staff to keep in contact with our members no matter where they are. We especially like the option for many employees / departments to use for a variety of uses.

CONS

Our only hurdle has been people to opt-in to the mass texting service. With the lobbies being closed, it has been hard to inform and instruct members on the new feature as a way to communicate with GKCU employees. We continue to see numbers in usage increase - it is just slower than we thought (but we aren't dealing in 'normal' times either so we are understanding of that).

Reason for choosing Eltropy

We did not have an existing product in place when we decided to implement. It came highly recommended from our national organization which helped us in deciding to move forward.

Best Customer Service - Hands down!

We've been extremely pleased with Eltropy. From the user and member experience, to the client support, as well as the continued desire to enhance the functionality available to clients. They are eager to deliver a product that will make doing business easier.

PROS

We liked the ease of use for both admins as well as staff and members. We also really liked that the compliance pieces surrounding TCPA were already done for us.

CONS

There have been features that we felt were lacking such as unassigning members from a conversation, or making the document collection easier for both staff and members. However, Eltropy values their clients feedback and they have worked to implement changes across the board when they find opportunities to do so. Both of the concerns above were addressed and came out as enhancements for all Eltropy users.

Reason for choosing Eltropy

The functionality that Eltropy had over these other two vendors was evident from the start. We appreciated the fact that [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was extremely involved and it was easy to see the passion he had for his business. The compliance piece was also a big factor in choosing Eltropy as they worked through all of that and there was not additional work our team would need to do.

Wonderful implementation experience from start to finish

We began exploring text platforms to leverage communications with our members for both sales opportunities and operational efficiencies. We found that Eltropy featured the most comprehensive one to many and one to one text management on the market. Our contacts at Eltropy were very knowledgeable in regard to current regulations and requirements around TCPA and the finance industry in general, which brought an added sense of security. Demos, vendor due diligence, implementation and training were a breeze. They kept things brief and to the point, but were always able to elaborate and provide details as needed. The setup process was quick and seamless, and we quickly realized Eltropy was not just a vendor, but a business solutions partner. While they provided best practices, they remained open to exploring alterations that would enhance the solution for our unique needs.

PROS

The software is built with our industry in mind. There are efficiencies within the tool that make it easy to use between departments.

CONS

We have hopes to tie Eltropy in with our other data platforms for automation and customer relationship management.

Electro is reaching more members than before

Eltropy provides a new channel for communicating with our members and our members are excited about receiving text messages. The software is adding automation to other internal processes and workflows. Our Manager of Member Advocacy calls it her '5th Man' as she is using text messages for Payment Reminders. The staff at Eltropy staff is collaborative and they are always sharing new ways to enhance the Member Journey through SMS Campaigns and 1:1 text messages.

PROS

Eltropy has introduced a new way for Electro to reach more members in an efficient and effective way. The software is easy to use. Creating campaigns, templates and topics is simple. The integrations with our core software once completed will add automation for SMS campaigns.

CONS

There are NO CONS! The software is dynamic. The vendor is responsive.

Admin Perspective

The reception to feedback and timing of responses when we have questions is excellent.

PROS

Texting is another tool used by the credit union for 'in the moment' response to allow the process for loans to move more quickly and more immediate response for our service center. The tool is easy to use for our end users.

CONS

Quick responses are not easy to configure and distribute to the users without Eltropy Support. The templating is a bit clunky. The feature to copy to other areas is helpful.

PROS

I like how responsive the Eltropy team are to our requests. Both for changes to existing functionality and for new features.

Easy to work with and implement

Very easy to work with and implementation was a breeze.

Eltropy User

We are utilizing it for 1-1 text messages as well as 1-Many with members. Integration was pretty seamless to our core and it was a fairly quick implementation. The onboarding was seamless, too and the team at Eltropy has been very easy to work with. The Eltropy team has also been very responsive and receptive to our product enhancement requests. Overall, it's been a good experience for us.

PROS

Their solution is very customizable and easy to use. Introduction to staff was also very minimal and quick to rollout since the product is so user-friendly. This moved us forward in offering another way to communicate with our members. We've appreciated the partnership with the team at Eltropy throughout our implementation.

CONS

Awaiting integration with our LOS; once that is available, that will be a big improvement for us.

So far so good!

PROS

I like the broad spectrum of functionality that is available through Eltropy. We were looking for a platform to help us accomplish multiple things with text messaging and Eltropy can do it all for us. From large marketing campaigns to late payment reminders or a one on one text conversation with a Member Service Rep.

CONS

The only thing that I could list here is that sometimes there are small configuration changes that we would like that aren't available right at that moment, but Eltropy is always open to taking feedback and seem to implement changes relatively quickly. So, while it might not be available right away, they work very hard and quickly to accommodate most all of our requests.

Sno Falls CU chooses Eltropy

Connecting with members via SMS that don't seem to respond in other channels We plan to do much more in the future, such as batch Payment Reminders, Emergency Notifications and possibly some marketing.

The people at Eltropy have been great to work with. They are quick to respond and offer helpful solutions. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been key in our success of launching text messaging and ensuring we know how to use the software.

Eltropy meets the needs of small and large organrizations

Overall we have been satisficed with Eltropy. Our organization has successfully gone live with the product and been able to communicate with our member in a timely manner. This has ensured we are addressing questions and concerns quickly and remaining a valuable service during challenging business operations.

Stop Searching and Sign Up

Our employees have been able to get proof of income, driver's license, insurance and other supporting documents so much quicker with Eltropy. Member's love the fact that you can do this from your phone without having to attach documents to email.

PROS

The easy of use is one of this product's best features. It is as easy to use as sending a text from your phone.

CONS

Sending a link for a member to reply with an image takes a little getting used to, but still isn't difficult.

I do not like that there are limited rights you can assign. The all or nothing for admin rights can make it difficult to navigate. I have users I would like to do a bit more, like adding templates, but I do not want them to have admin access.

Great messaging system

PROS

The ease at which I can communicate with our members is the best part of the system. It is quick, simple and our membership enjoy the convenience.

CONS

The tracking on an item is a little difficult to use the first time you use it but once you get comfortable with maneuvering through the system.

Great product

PROS

The system was very easy to setup, at a time we needed additional communication options for our members. It is also VERY easy for the team to learn and jump right in.

CONS

There are limited report options right now, and the integrations weren't established right away. But we are working on all of those now.
