Zoho Survey Review by Mehandi Islam

Business problems which I am solving with Zoho Survey / helping my clients with are as such:- 1) Creating survey forms to collect event experiences. 2) User registration for events. etc.

PROS

Features which are most impactful:- 1) Simple and elegant UI. 2) Question branching. 3) Question Shuffling. 4) Response Validation. 5) Audio/Video/Image embedding. 6) Reporting, scheduling and export. Zoho Survey is easy to use just like most of the other apps of Zoho. Integration was easy with existing business process. Just try it out and you will love it.

CONS

Yes, they can improve zoho survey. If they can add import features from other survey apps. Direct integration with most of the CRM, Email Marketing tools without the use of any third-party tools will be a best update in the app. There is nothing in the app which is difficult to use. Integration with my existing business process is always is easy.

Because of the pricing, features and most important it was easily integratable with other zoho apps.

Reasons for switching to Zoho Survey

We have more advanced features in Zoho Survey also we dont have to use any third-party tools to integrate the forms with other apps of zoho.

Userfriendly Survey Tool

Overall, we have been able to work on getting data collection process simpler and user friendly. We hope to use such features in future with more and more interesting scenarios with advanced Zoho technology options.

PROS

Dear All, I liked the features, which are good, user friendly and easy to use. While for the initial days I felt the tool looked a little tricky to use, it was quite intuitive and could use it in a more efficient manner. Hope to see this tool introduce more and more features, which are more relevant to address our business use cases.

CONS

In some instances, such as matrix drop down etc, I felt certain customizations were not possible or were difficult to use. So, I am hoping that if these areas also we could work effortlessly I would be a great boon for us.

Reason for choosing Zoho Survey

I felt Zoho Survey was cost effective, while still providing the key features we required. While some features we compromised, the value we get is still on par with our requirements. So we are happy and look forward to new advanced product roadmap from the Zoho Survey Team!

As the survey tool inside Zoho One suite it gets the job done. Probably would consider it separately

Great survey tool, very complete and straightforward. Would recommend it for all Zoho One users. However if you do not need to integrate your survey answers to your CRM you will probably can get the job done with free tools like Surveymonkey or Google Forms

PROS

Zoho Survey comes integrated with Zoho One suite solutions. The answers can integrate within Zoho CRM Great customization features.With seamless drag and drop blocks you can build a survey template from scratch in short time.

CONS

I wouldn't consider buying Zoho Survey as a stand-alone product. The tool has been designed to work as an extension of Zoho One, it doesn't integrate well with third party crms.

Zoho is a great tool for customer service businesses

Zoho is an overall great product that provides the necessary tools for a company to meet the needs of customers such as the help desk ticket system, live customer chat support and inter office chat feature. We use this everyday at work, Monday - Friday and it has helped our department to have an organized system to keep up with our daily workflow.

PROS

The ticket system to helping customers in her order received is superb especially since it provides other options for the customer to provide further information such as including attachments such as picture, documents, etc.

CONS

At times the live chat feature does not alert you or provide the pop-up notification when a chat has come in. Usually this requires the user to restart the application to fix this issue.

Reason for choosing Zoho Survey

We chose Zoho over these other two products due to its ability to meet the requirements necessary for us to do our work.

Super easy and great for growth hacking

I am very happy with using Zoho Survey. Would recommend it to anyone.

PROS

Very easy to set up and design so it works seamlessly with your website in an iframe. They also have a great price point for buying respondents. The few integrations they have are quite good, but it would great with more integrations.

CONS

Very few integrations. Would be great with a Zapier integration :)

Easy and accesible

I have only used it with the free trial and I would say so far so good

PROS

It is easy to use and very clear with a lot of type of questions and it has all the requirements needed

CONS

The free trial is very short. It would be great to have a cheaper price for students who use it

Simple, direct, user-friendly and affordable

I have been using zoho survey for year and I haven't got any issue yet. There products are very easy to use and has a user friendly UI. Easy drag and drop feature makes our work more easy. I will definitely recommend it to use.

PROS

Zoho survey allows its users to share their materials anywhere.We have freedom to choose and its very easy to deploy.All surveys are optimized for mobile devices too.Customizable templates make our work easy and its save lots of time.Another key features is there tutorials video. They help very much and they have covered all key features of the application.

CONS

I haven't face any issue yet. Just some delay in support reply that it.

Questionpro has become more costly and is also lacking behind in the competitive markey of applications.

Efficient & Effective

PROS

Zoho was very easy to use and was easy to share. The capability to export to Excel is great and the software itself offers a lot of great graphics of the data. The design is intuitive and user-friendly. Quality software without a huge price tag.

CONS

I would have liked the name of my survey to be the graphic attached to the link rather than the Zoho logo. This didn't have a huge impact, but might have made my objective more clear when sharing the link.

Extremely easy to set up yet having a very professional look

I am very satisfied with how easy it was to set-up my market research survey. However, I found the price for obtaining answers from Zoho users pretty expensive.

PROS

I love the different options of the type of answers the survey questions can have (e.g. matrix, rating scale etc.)

CONS

The translate feature does not allow us to translate the name of the document. Also the survey does not accept responses when the admin is updating while the survey is online. There is no warning given.

Reasons for switching to Zoho Survey

Zoho Survey had more options for the response type and a much more professional look.

Highly Integrated Survey Tool

Overall experience is Great, Price for the product is also fair enough.

PROS

Zoho Survey is best survey management software. Basically, It provides various pre-defined survey templates which results in saving a lot of time.

CONS

There are some UI glitches in the software which needs to be taken care of. Rest all is good.

Reasons for switching to Zoho Survey

Because the pricing was low as compared to Zoho Survey and there were no glitches in Survey Monkey related to UI.

Powerful and very complete tool to create surveys.

Zoho Survey provided us with a quick and easy way to create surveys, it allowed us to collect ideas, opinions, thoughts, feelings and knowledge among others; from all our staff and customers, who for us are our most valuable asset; thanks to the real information we obtained it was possible to make more informed and accurate decisions and at the same time improve and correct our deficiencies in many of the business processes in the different functional areas, 10 out of 10 for Zoho Survey.

PROS

I like the ease of use, something that particularly characterizes Zoho's native tools. Z. Survey is a powerful and very complete tool to create online surveys, I like how flexible and customizable it is, it offers a great variety of templates, we can include multiple choice answers, it responds with stars from one to five among others, I like its collaboration features that make it easy to work with colleagues; we use it mostly to evaluate customer satisfaction (in installation processes, customer service and others), to evaluate knowledge acquired in the trainings that take place every quarter in our company or when we socialize our new operations or the guideline of our process manual, or also when we want to collect opinions about a new product or service. Zoho Survey provides all the necessary functions to create surveys, distribute them and analyze the data obtained, zoho survey provides an effective and convenient way to collect information.

CONS

There is nothing at the moment that I dislike about Zoho Survey, it really does the job it was designed for very well, it allows us to collect valuable information, its performance and ease of use is excellent.

Incredible online survey tool.

Zoho Survey allowed us to identify gaps and weaknesses in the processes we perform daily for customers in relation to the provision of our products and services. Zoho Survey gave us all the capacity to collect in a short time valuable information for the operation, allowed us to know the experiences and opinions of customers and based on these arguments, to achieve over time the improvement and improvement of each of them. The experience has been really organic and beneficial with this product.

PROS

It is a great online survey tool, it is intuitive and easy to use, it offers a modern, attractive and complete user interface, and it is supported by a set of essential features that allow us to easily collect information from a given audience. Zoho survey allows us to know the opinions and experiences of our customers, which we can analyze and evaluate to strengthen and improve the overall quality in the provision of our services, from the installation to the interaction with the different business areas (customer service, technical and commercial support). I especially appreciate the way it integrates with Zoho Lens, Zoho Show, Zoho Sheet and other native tools.

CONS

There is not a lot of information available on the Internet that can be used to enhance and take full advantage of the capabilities offered by this amazing online survey tool.

Great Tool But With Limitations

Zoho is a budget-friendly, easy to use survey tool that makes it a great resource with those needing to create more than a basic survey. Because it is a small company, customer service may not be available to address issues quickly. Overall, it is a great tool for certain users.

PROS

Zoho Survey is easy to use with several question types to choose from. The look is clean, appealing, and easy to share. Zoho Survey is one of the most budget-friendly survey tools available.

CONS

Integration options are limited for exporting survey results. Customer service is only reachable by email and will usually reply in a few days. Some users on my team experienced exporting of surver results issues that happen at random.

We use Zoho survey to sample our client opinion.

PROS

We use Zoho survey to conduct easy and fast surveys among our clients and customers. It is intuitive both on the business side( organizations) and on the customer side(survey recipients).I love its mobile approach ,which is very important because majority of survey respondents answer our surveys from their smartphones. I like the integration with Google drive ,which has made it possible to save data from Zoho survey on Drive ,allowing easy access to it from anywhere and at anytime in the future for reuse.

CONS

Zoho surveys hasn't got the most modern of user interfaces. From experience, I have learnt that survey respondents can choose to continue or discontinue a survey just because of how catchy or unattractive the survey page interface is. Zoho needs to work on this shortcoming.

Survey issues solved!

I was long looking for an alternative, after a competitive provider (with a great ape in its name) bought and up-priced the survey I had used. Then I realised that Zoho, whose CRM we had used for 5+ years, has a survey function too. Tried, tested and passed: problem solved.

PROS

It's extremely easy to create, administer, share and embed surveys. We seldom need customer service, but when we need it we get fast and professional help. If you're a small team, you want your surveys look as if you spent months developing them and you don't want the logo of an over-advertised survey provider at the bottom, go for Zoho.

CONS

Frankly, my main problem is that I cannot catch up with the new functions. Some of them may be an overkill, I include them anyway and go back to most basic functions. But some users may need them.

Another excellent software that interpenetrates work functions creating combined strategies

Zoho invoice, use it in group spaces and work teams will exponentially improve your productivity and participation. Buy it you will not regret it

Our Human Resources Manager made this software available as a tool to exchange ideas among workers generating an excellent work environment as they take the positive and negative things that happen in the workplace to enhance management Zoho Survey offers a comfortable interface to design the accounts, leaving very positive results in our company

CONS

Like other programs of the Zoho company, we do not find negative characteristics to be highlighted. We believe it is pertinent to evaluate this software positively

This is the ideal tool for creating custom surveys

I was very impressed with how easy it was to create and customize my survey, as there were so many options to choose from and all were presented clearly and intuitively. Also, the ability to distribute the survey was very easy and the Zoom security option that you can turn on is great.

PROS

The ease of use is definitely one of the things I liked the most about the software. Even someone with little to no survey creation experience can figure out how this software works in no time.

CONS

Simple, easy to use and very efficient.

PROS

It's a very easy to use program, quite intuitive, which will save you a lot of time. It is a data collection tool that allows you to measure at a fairly basic level the trends of any fact you want to measure. In my case I use it to measure the management that I carry out my work, I elaborate regular interviews to the personnel in my charge and to my superiors. It's excellent, I recommend it.

CONS

It always performs, there is nothing that can bother me about this excellent software.

Best online software for survey as it has feature from creating questionnaire to generating report

I personally like this software as this make survey very easy and also help us in generating exact report without error.

PROS

I can easily do survey with the help of this software as it is online so we can tap a large number of participants in the survey. They have templet design which is very useful and also help you to create your questionnaire for survey. It have all the feature from creation the questionnaire to analyzing the result. It is a online so it take very less time in analyzing the survey and generating the report.

CONS

In the free software all the features are not available so better to go for the better version if you need more features

Used Zoho Survey in Trial

PROS

By automating the selection of the next question in the survey according to the answers that the respondent chooses, it is a feature that gives many benefits to my company. The robust and easy to use integration that this app has with Zoho CRM and Zoho Campaigns saves me a lot of time avoiding me to export and import information from one to another app.

CONS

I would like more tutorials about integration with other Zoho apps and win cases of other companies using Zoho Survey. I would also like Survey to have a more direct integration with Zoho CRM, for example, if a negotiation is closed in the CRM, this app could send an email to the lead or contact with a survey and the information it collects in the latter would update the deal's information loaded into the CRM.

Great free tool!

PROS

We used the free version of Zoho surveys and it was awesome. I used it to deploy surveys for a client campaign when I worked for another company. We used it for several campaigns because it was easy to develop surveys, easy for the team to use, and easy to pull reports.

CONS

I did wish there was a little more flexibility to pull pieces of the reports out so we could use the data in our own report format. This may be a feature that is available now, but wasn't when I used it. I had to export and just use the report the system provided.

Reason for choosing Zoho Survey

It was free and very easy to use. Another colleague had also used it in the past.
