Overall, Birst is a great reporting tool that makes it easier for IT department to create / deploy new reports.

So if you have a small team that is spread thing or have limited knowledge the TAM program eliminates this issue but it does add to the cost.

Great tool that will give you great insights very recommended to medium - Large Business Needs.

Overall experience with Birst is good as a developer. Great visualization capabilities and faster analytics with huge amount of data.

Lagging time when processing Medium to large Data Sets. Very expensive compared to other BI Solutions.

It may seem like we don't like the tool, but it is very good.

The actual reporting and dashboard tools are very easy to use and users can be quickly trained on how to create reports.

Having a fully integrated data store and data warehouse is a great value. Data connectivity is also very powerful while simple.

And you cannot overstate the importance of their terrific customer support - especially the Birst Community.

Interface looks nice for the final user and relatively easy to use after a brief training. Looks also powerful and easy to prepare new dashboard.

Definitely use the user guide; it is chock full of amazing helpful tools.

Ability to pull or push data into other Systems. Developing rapidly specially after being Acquired by infor.

Scalable, moderately priced, functionality is better than other platforms, great for SMB and enterprise audiences.

The ease to create new dashboard is really impressive and simplicity to gather data and make them available to end-users are key factors for projects success.

The cons are mostly pain felt by the developers. End users will not notice an issue.

Graphical representation of the data is what attracted us to the Birst.

Limited reporting and dash boarding capabilities. Bugs that lead to erroneous results, without giving and error.

There is a large misconception that building a BI dashboard is easy. Using Birst to do this IS somewhat easy, but invest in your data model.

You're missing a lot of creation/deletion functions and you must always access a space command window to do so. Therefore you have troubles to mass create/delete users without using the API.

Overall, I am impressed by how simple Birst makes something that can otherwise be complex.

It can get very confusing especially for new users. Sometimes you can pinpoint a HEX Color, in other cases, you have only a choice between 5 predetermined colors.

Easy to Implement and integrate with other Systems.

The ability to deploy a new warehouse with its own set of reports and dashboards in short order has been one of the best features for us to date.

Time saving, useful for both coders and non-coders, allows for multi-user collaboration and monitoring, creating flowcharts help in maintaining granularity.

This platform is great to have a streamlined and operational portfolio of all your data requirements.

It helps me explore various anaylitical domains. Makes life easy and provides accurate results.

Getting started with the software is easy and the online tutorials are quite comprehensive.

The ease of onboarding people onto the platfrom is seemless. In addition, Dataiku provides their own modules that help in getting accustomed to the product.

Whether the project requires data accumulation, or preprocessing, or data manipulation, or extracting business insights from data, Dataiku is the go-to platform.

Dataiku is not yet so widely used. As a result, it is often more difficult to get help for specific problems or errors.

Data processing charges are high compared to competition.

Overall even at the high cost I would recommend this to enable business users since the value proposition is very good. Perhaps no other tool in the market that makes data analytics so accessible.

For the machine learning part, I restricted myself to visual machine learning in the studio, which already packs the most common algorithms (random forest, logistic, svm, gradient-boosting...).

Editing or connecting to a new data source is difficult. Low visibility inside the flows.

Intuitive UI for business users to interact with data in an excel like fashion and still be able to run advanced analytics on the data sets. Collaboration is effective.

First, I was really impressed with the overall ease of use and ergonomy of the studio.
