Had a few issues with aforementioned diagramming tool losing its DB connection and getting it connected again was a lot more difficult than it should have been.

The interface with regards the returned datasets is impressive. The ease of editing data.

I love being able to completely copy a database from one server to another with a few clicks, which makes it super quick to keep my dev environment in sync with the live database.

Need the pro version for what should be basic. Not a very large community when searching for solution to a problem.

Provides a point-and-click interface and you get to see the actual SQL being generated. Excellent for running queries on tables with lots of records.

The application is not developing, I bought a license for 3 years and I am disappointed.

The ability to compare schemas is a lifesaver for migrating from dev to test to prod. Data comparisons work great.

The Test Data Loading is a wonderful tool where we can just load about 100K to 500K Records without any issues. This feature has helped us performing some initial tuning to the Queries.

Company provides highly reliable and functional products at great prices, but customer service takes a long time to respond.

The only negative thing is the customer portal. It could be a little bit user friendly.

Showing the foreign key table when clicking the foreign key is awesome.

Makes SSMS unstable and locks it up frequently, forcing me to force quit through the task manager.

Sometimes you just need to do a quick edit to a view and it's a bit frustrating to deal with.

FileMaker is incredibly easy to work with, offers generally well documented online help docs, and has a huge and active community of developers you can learn from.

It allows us to do more work with less staffing. Any issues have been quickly addressed either through FileMaker or the fabulous user community.

Serves well the client that are used to it and non-technical. If you use FileMaker go for SaaS - reasonably priced, easy to transition, easy to manage.

Can do just about anything you want. Great online community and support.

The price is excellent for this as is, but start adding in the support you need and the cost to add new things or make changes, it starts getting up there if you make a lot of changes.

We use filemaker/claris for more than 8 years and is really useful.

Medium easy to use, but with great results, the data base behind it its amazing to access to create your own Exccell customized date based.

Some departement use it but for the mine we dont use it anymorem we have replaced with better solution.

This is a good program if you have a company or person dedicated to setting it up, creating your applications, and forms.

It is also very versatile. It is sound in its structure, does not crash, does not loss data and once it is programmed it is pretty easy to use.

We've build our own CRM based on a free CRM ( fm starting point) and we have complete changed it to our needs. And that at a fraction of a price they charged for CRM with less features.

I liked the ability to draw client data from the database into group sessions. It was fairly easy to add clients.

The bad thing about being able to do much is the requests from staff for new additions.

Restful API build in, just needs customisation. Works across multiple platforms and on the web.

This software saves time and money. Fantastic software for small and medium sized businesses.

I used to like FileMaker, it was easy to use but powerful. As it evolved it got complex and confusing.

It's incredibly intimidating and not user friendly to somebody coming on who is not familiar. It's also very easy to accidentally create very messy data.

Very easy import/export of data. Great tool for proof-of-concepts for large systems, or for small to mid-size applications.

It was fine in the 80's but as the world went online and databases required more functionality specifically for the search industry, we simply outgrew this softward.

It requires a computer scientist to figure out how to use it now. What was simple and intuitive became complicated and confusing.

I instantly fell in love with this humble but powerful software.
