I can't do my job without Altium now. I  appreciate the help I get from your specialists.

I love the commenting, the ease of project sharing between colleagues and especially the ability to view the design files in a browser, without having to install Altium Designer.

Copying parameters is a bit difficult, but I guess I haven't discovered it yet.

With the ability to request parts, review designs and share project information and only require an account and invite to the organisation is a great bonus.

The option to live track components costs and availability is also a huge time saver.

Altium is an extremely useful and intuitive ECAD tool that allows users to create customized processes, design complex boards accurately, and produce great documentation and PCBAs.

It is a tad confusing and I still have difficulty figuring out how to solve my problems.

I enjoy the ability to seamlessly interact with my teammates on the design and implementation of our projects.

Extremely happy to have altium 365  for collaborative  design team experience.

Security while designing by rigorous and strong rule setting. Loads of functions that are useful and solid.

I feel that it is sometimes unclear how the projects in the cloud are connected to the local copy of the project.

It makes organizing different projects and revisions very easy. The BOM feature is very convenient in estimating BOM cost and the way the BOM can check for part cost online make it even better.

Also I like the workspace component libraries, although I probably do not understand how they work and how they integrate with a design project completely.

Accessing Company based File Libraries can be difficult.

I started learning Altium at the start of 2023, and even just after a month of semi-regular use, I feel like I am already pretty well versed in both schematic and PCB design.

Getting multi users used to Altium 365 was somewhat difficult, but this goes with any new product really.

I like the completeness of the tools offered to design a professional PCB. I also enjoy the simple UI and cleanliness of the software.

Excellent from start to finish. It makes designing, reviewing and publishing of electronic products so much easier than other software.

I have used about a half a dozen design platform during my career and Altium 365 seems to have adopted the best features of all of them and combined them into one easy to use platform.

The limitation to work only with the cloud. I would be grat if the option have a version with closed local network.

And because of that, I feel discouraged to use the functionality, being afraid to mess up the project structure or the project files either in the cloud or on the local machine.

I can manage just about every aspect of a project from within Altium, on the fly. I really love using this program.

Integrated with our old repository seamlessly. Loved the easy to understand interface.

I don't know the software well enough to have specific cons, but sometimes the BOM exporting process can be a bit weird and/or difficult.

We can all access the same library and share parts with ease.

What I like most about the Altium 365 is how easy it is to use the software and upload my files to the server. It's great to be able to easily view and share my projects wherever I am.

Altium 365 has a lot of features that increase design and layout capability. Use is intuitive and integration to existing designs is seemless.

However for less complex part or tool/mold designs you may prefer Solidworks due to its cost advantages.

Catia has a user friendly interface which helps you while you working on it.

With this mouse functioning also little bit awkward.

It is also best to see machining simulation, provide all the details about it like manufacturing time and all process details.

You can also work with parametric for any dimentions that can be connected with a formula and variables. It is well integrated with PLMs.

Another most important is it's low cost among the rivels. Even with low cost it provides decent features and it makes the CATIA a good choice for 3D modeling.

CATIA has better performance in  simulation and surfacing tool than other design software I have used. It has an good rendering capability.

This product is benefit to prepare and see the design with 3D and check the package. It helps to decrease the prototype investment.

It is very easy to learn. The main advantage in this software is we can switch between modules to have better design features.

This takes a while to get used to. Although, if you get used to the pictures or short cut keys, this won't be too much of a problem.

The software is hard to master. It has too many options which means you need to learn a lot of options.

My experience has been good, after using CATIA for three years I feel satisfied with the knowledge I’ve built up of the software.

My experience with CATIA was a whole journey, the beginning was hard and confusing, but after passing the learning curve it becomes way clearer.

It was working slowly and i had problems about opening second tab.

CATIA is the best software for surfacing, rendering and analysis as I used. For personnel use it is quite expensive but perfect for industry.

This is mitigated by the relative availability of online resources that can aid in tasks that would otherwise be more difficult.

D age module is truly poor; hence we generally utilize different apparatuses to make 2D's. Permit charge can be an issue for individual or little organization uses.

I used this software for two to three years and it best for advanced machining, easily provide modeling simulation and develops it's NC codes in just some seconds.

Poor technical drawing performance, long loading time.

I am very pleased using this program. Because we generally use complex models.

CATIA really is easy to use compared to other CAD tools. What I like best about it is the ease in generating complex surfaces.

The best design I have ever used for 10 years and it can be integrated with analysis tools.

It makes new clients pulled in to it and there are a lot of instructional exercises accessible to learn. Its ability over a wide range of portfolios makes it an extraordinary item.

This software has pretty much everything that you could ever need. It makes CAD and CAM easier being able to be integrated into the same software.

Great, it has become favorite of the users when it comes to design and drafting the models.

I still have to adapt to the tool and find where they are but there's no bug mystery if used used CAD software before.

Catia has the best surfacing and simulation than any other software out there.

Hard to understand the design approach behind the tool. When the error pops up right after modification, it drives me crazy.
