SDX for data capture

PROS

Capturing data like tags , document number and revision details from PDF, 3D,DWG, DGN files is an excellent feature in SDx software

CONS

Document workbench is somewhat cumbersome process to add tags manually to document

SDX data extraction from documents

PROS

Using SDx, It is very easy to extract data like tags information,title information etc from PDF files, drawing files etc..

CONS

Data extraction from hand written files,image files,non searchable files etc is not yet supported by SDx application

SDx software

PROS

Using SDx we can convert the unstructured data into its digital format, It is also used to visualize and hotspot the data. It is used to extract the data from 2D, 3D models.

CONS

One the cons of SDx is, it is not so efficient in extracting data from image files like (.tiff) and also hand written files.
