This software is easy to use (though there is a learning curve), and the customer support is excellent.

It is user-friendly, inexpensive, and provides excellent user support if students or instructors require any assistance.

I love how Kritik has helped me to prioritize teaching students how to give good feedback to each other. This is the correct pedagogical focus for a student-centered classroom.

Kritik provided good student tutorial material and helped to train students for use of the software. Kritik was able to integrate with Blackboard to make usage simpler.

I also found that many of my students gave high grades across the board. But my main issue with using it in other courses is asking my students to pay an additional fee.

A good way to integrate more qualitative/critical thinking work into lecture courses.

But I also really believe in the importance of helping students collaborate and provide feedback better.

Students were very enthusiastic about using Kritik, because it allowed them to see the level of work of their peers - this led to an overall improvement of the classwork submitted.

I think this is a great solution to the problem of both getting students good feedback on their qualitative assignments and of teaching students to be effective evaluators.

I heard there were IT problems with Canvas integration. The University ended up not adopting Kritik.

There is also flexibility in due dates for students who require accommodation.

From an administrative perspective, Kritik was extremely easy to use. All of the features are easy to find, and assignments are easy to set up.

This is an odd work around an obvious deficiency. The software also didn’t integrate into Canvas and students complained about having to learn a new software platform.

Even student grade disputes are easy to resolve. On top of that, the customer service was beyond helpful in quickly and efficiently answering any questions I had.

The chat button was easy to use, and every question was answered promptly and efficiently.

Product was fairly easy to use and students have indicated that it was fun.

The support staff are incredibly supportive, responding to requests in a timely and helpful manner. Their commitment to customer support is one of the best I have ever encountered.

Having said that we knew this would be an ongoing problem on both vendors sides and were prepared for the delays that are occurring.

Schoolbox is a great company to deal with. They are responsive and timely in attending to issues, and I really appreciate their focus on improving their product.

I think Schoolbox is a very good product and we are doing our best to achieve an excellent implementation - it is not a small undertaking.

Love that it is mobile responsive, clear communications to parents, students and staff. Powerful grader, markbook and reporting platform.

They have built solid partnerships with other service providers and are always looking for additional partners.

The system integration with 3rd party platforms, continuous reporting opportunities and ease of content creation.

Back end can be difficult and integration is not as it was explained.

Great Parent Portal, it's Easy to use and they are always developing new and relevant features.

It's hard to identify any cons, but for us here in Queensland, I felt that Schoolbox was a bit slow to provide software changes to facilitate changes to the senior schooling system.

There is also much greater oversight on an individuals total workload and the ability to more effectively manage this.

The ease of use for storing information that is shared with multiple students across multiple platforms.

Communication & access to information are the two major problems we are solving.

It is an off the shelf prodcut purchased that was able to replace a number of bespoke, complicated solutions previously used. We had rapid on-boarding of staff due to it's ease of use.

Their communication regarding changes is excellent and their annual user groups meetups both nationally and state ones are brilliant.

Once teachers have a grasp of this aspect of Schoolbox, there is no stopping them.

The benefits have been that its been a simple system for staff to use and learn and its had great impact on keeping staff accountable and providing parents with better visibility on learning.

This is the feature staff find most frustrating. Technically, it has taken some time to smooth out the link between our SIS (PCSchool) and Schoolbox.

We like the ease of use for students, staff and parents.

We're very excited about the future developments, including the new ePortfolio coming in 2020 that will be fantastic for our Junior School.

The company supported the school through the implementation process and their ongoing product support is very good.

The design reflects a deep understanding of how schools operate and it functions very reliably. Schoolbox is a sophisticated yet relatively simple tool to mange complexity in schools.

A useful integrated virtual learning environment.

The only pain point is our specific customisations that often break with updates, so avoid customisation when you can.

A very intuitive LMS that requires minimal training at all levels of ability. To me it is a one stop shop for all teaching and learning matters and eliminates the use of other software's.

Information available about releases and changes and training material is fantastic. Easy to use - most features are intuitive.

Customer service is outstanding and this is so important.
