Serial Port Redirector is an on-premise remote desktop solution designed to help IT teams access remote serial devices over TCP/IP network. The application lets users accept incoming network connections and redirect both the data stream and control signals to a plugged serial device. Teams using Serial Port Redirector can connect to any Serial Device Server with RFC2217 (Telnet COM Port Control) protocol. The platform enables organizations to preconfigure initialization commands and other custom data for specified COM ports. With Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the system protects private information and keeps data highway safe.
