PROSFirst and foremost, the website portal's interface is sleek, intuitive, and visually appealing. Navigating through the application is a breeze, thanks to its well-organized layout and easily accessible menus. One of the standout features of this website portal application is its efficiency in streamlining information. It effortlessly consolidates various resources, providing a centralized hub to meet the online needs of clients, members and healthcare service providers. With just a few clicks, they can access their claims information, healthcare benefits, send email inquiries to our staff, manage user accounts, review relevant health and wellness information, and so much more. The portal offers seamless integration with our other partners through the use of APIs to provide members real-time access to their EOBs and ID cards. The EOB interface is critical in helping our call center staff manage their interaction time with provider inquiries. The developers at Health Portal Solutions have also incorporated robust security measures into the application, ensuring that data remains safe and protected in compliance with HIPAA privacy standards. Lastly, I must commend the support team behind the application. Their responsiveness and willingness to address any queries or concerns are truly commendable. Solid & dependable
Currently 70% of our Health claims are processed via the Portal, which has allowed us to reduce average claims processing time by 80%. This has improved client loyalty and provided leverage in negotiating rates where necessary.
PROSThe team at HPS have walked very closely with Beacon, with evident commitment to our mutual success. They are true partners.
CONSHPS has a support portal, which we use to log tickets, maintain a Knowledge base specific to our project. However, notifications about posts or updates on tickets, do not contain the details of the post. So when I get the notification, I have to log on to the support portal to get said details.

We chose HPS because of their known and proven interfaces to PLEXIS Claims Manager.

We don't include a lot of detail in our ticketing system updates because many times the responses include personal health information, and we want to keep those details secure. Great partnership and always willing to innovate and add new functionality
PROSThe great customer service with set up and the ongoing support and help with questions.
CONSIntegrating some of the data was difficult for example the prescription file from a separate vendor. Not being able to 'see' what our members are seeing or being able to log into their accounts to assist them with locating the information they are searching for.

Quality of Service in our Industry
Great folks to work with. Nice to be able to problem solve with someone that fully understands our industry.
PROSKeeps us up with the big Insurance Carriers and Large national TPA's. A lot of great information to employers that brokers say they do...which is not true (brokers). Very easy to use, and understand. HPS understands what we as small to medium size TPA's need to compete.
CONSThe biggest issue is getting members to sign up to utilize the portal. This is not the fault of HPS, members are lazy along with employers.

Tools for managing health
The portal provides tools to help members manage their healthcare and for providers to manage their patients' care. They can access the info, at their convenience, so they can get immediate answers to their questions about coverage, eligiblity, and benefit without having to contact someone. If they do need to make contact they can use the secure email within the portal.
CONSThere are some features we are not able to utilize due to the nature of our business, but no specific example to share.
