As a photographer, I use calconic to my website, users can check/uncheck options for different offers of event prices, wedding prices, photo sessions...

i like the software because it is easy to use, lot of features, useful for my domain... integration on my website

there is not to much options for payment, just stripe and paypal (visa/mastercard) i use it from Belgium where 99% of the users/clients use Bancontact/Maestro, so it is not so useful the payment option, because they can not pay in the end. I use the send form instead.

Great software with great features. Could have more templates and logic function templates for the math equations. But it is easy to use and WAY more robust than anything else out there. It really is a league of its own.

You will be hard-pressed to find calculation software that's as elegant and easy to use as Calconic. Most calculation tools for online forms and web inaction are UGLY or just don't have enough feature sets, or are LOCKED into one type of calculation (say ROI). You might find many canned ROI calculators, but will not be able to stylize them or add any additional calculation logic. the module layout is EASY. I would say from a visual front-end CSS side it's as good as it gets.

Some editing tools could be less granular. The CSS set-up for the item should be universal UNLESS set for each type of environment. Sure you will want to restyle certain things for mobile, tablets, computers, etc. But you probably don't want to change the font once chosen. In Calconic you will have to go to each and every instance and form element to change that font or set that font when adding a new element. Each element has to be set manually, almost no CSS is universal to the entire form once you customize it. Elements like form submissions are only available in the paid version. But I understand everyone needs to make a living and Calconic is seriously THE BEST calculation software online. My only MAJOR gripe with Calconic is the slow response for customer support. I have had to wait 4-5 days for a reply and it was not over the weekend. As a paying customer, this got better but was still over 48 hours. Due to Covid-19, I'm trying to be understanding about this issue.

Great experience, sometimes customer support can be a bit slow, however they are very helpful when you get in touch. Its what I expect at the low price point.

We use the Zapier integration to talk to HubSpot and are able to take leads right from the embedded Calconic calculator on our website, right into HubSpot.

I think the design tool could use a few more controls, it can sometimes lack a bit of sophistication.

The platform is easy to use and user friendly! The calculators can be easily created and tested on the platform. It integrates with website easily with copying and pasting the special link. The design flexibility of the calculators are very nice looking!

The math functions are limited and would nice to expand the capabilities. Linking other values for calculations can get cumbersome and confusing. Perhaps being able to name variables would help. The pricing tier allows for only limited calculators unless you upgrade to premium expensive plans.

App looks pretty slick and is a bit buggy, which is fine, but literally intently rude support who I think may actually be the developer/owner based on the way the spoke with us. No support = can't use the product.

After being repeatedly ignored, I opened a new chat window and the original rep took that chat, asked for someone else and they blocked me from using their support chat. Horrible experience.

Great experience creating/hosting order forms for a custom vehicle builder application we've developed.

We needed a solution for setting up order forms that included advanced calculations and zapier integration. From day one this platform was very easy to setup and shortly thereafter we were able to launch a beta. Very easy to embed into our wordpress based website via iframe

Support timezone sometimes means that I wait a day for resolution but typically replies are on-point without a lot of back and forth.

It's a fair price for the tools given. Lots of options to fit to your needs.

The software allows for a lot of customization, and there are options for very simple calculators or very elaborate lead interfaces.

When I change the order of items in desktop view, it doesn't change tablet or mobile. I had to speak with the help desk to figure out why my items weren't showing in the proper order on my website. Now that I know how to fix it's manageable, but still very inconvenient to make the same changes three times.

Not much! Once you figure out the small nuances in behaviour e.g. element visibility rules and shared / custom style rules, you can actually get a lot more out of the tool than you may have initially thought.

For every kind of calculator type form to capture leads you can imagine, you can build with calconinc. From simple quotes calculators to financial analysis you can find almost everythin on the template library and have your calculator running in minutes.

Only integrating with Zapier, it would be very useful have other integration options.

The calculator is wasting impressions on its own. Even if there is no traffic on the website, it still consumes dozens of impressions per day! And if there is traffic on the page, it depletes them at an unbelievably fast rate, approximately 10 times faster than reality. So, they are deceiving people into buying a more expensive subscription to get more impressions!

So far so good. Hope to track how many people are using the tool and where they are coming from?

The ability for a non-coder to create a functioning tool was important for me to get a business started. The tools available to design and present complicated formulas makes almost any quotation possible.

The email presentation is more difficultto construct and I never was able to make a product that would wow my intended customer.

"What is my corporate tax rate?" is a common question for a tax accountant, and seems easy enough, but comes with a response that starts with "it depends". Calconic has provided a way for any entity to go to our website and determine, within reason, what their Canadian corporate tax rate should be, whether they are a small business or large. At a minimum it has eliminated 95% of the "it depends" questions. For our entity, we strive to add value to our whole service offering, and Calconic has allowed us to appear on lead search engine pages for our calculators, due to the value of their product and what we could build with it.

The ability to add layers and multiple formulas was key to our pursuit of adding tools that would assist with capturing a corporate tax rate that could handle most, if not all of the Provincial intricacies. Building the tool, and layering in the necessary formula was as easy as clicking a few buttons. The ability to test the calculator before launch was also seamless and avoided posting a finished product with errors.

Once the time was taken to format the calculator, we realized that we needed to do the same for the mobile and tablet versions, and this process seemed unnecessarily repetitive. As our calculators are based on maintaining up to date tax rates, we need to update our content once or twice a year, and doing so for each version is a little tedious.
