Automated Generation via Lead Scraping

Lead Scrape is effective in the sense that it saves time by providing automation as a service, as opposed to cold calls or manually looking up business contacts, hence freeing up more time to contact leads, conduct quality assurance, tracking, follow-ups and analysis.

PROS

Ease of use and robustness in lead scraping, as it is an on-premise software. Highly accurate results generated with data in the form of prospects' contact information. No need for integration with other tools - Lead Scrape can be used as a stand-alone product.

CONS

Duplicates of contacts within the same business can sometimes be automatically generated. In cases where more than one email address for a given lead is found, the email addresses are separated by commas on the same line.

Reason for choosing Lead Scrape

Our team wanted to have automated scraped leads to compare alongside leads generated via other techniques. So Lead Scrape was used in tandem with some other CRMs.

Great software

I'm really happy with the software. It helped me get new customers for my company.

PROS

It returns lots of leads and is much cheaper that other similar software.

CONS

User Interface could be more modern-styled

Such Incredible Potential

I wouldn't recommend this app to my worst enemy unless I was trying to waste his time. It has a ton of potential but is so inconsistent. The really annoying part is if you setup a scrape that lasts an entire day and it crashes you lose everything. I suggested a log that populates after each scraped city so you don't lose all of your work. This would be incredibly easy to achieve but the support said the dev was unwilling to help. Insane.

PROS

What I liked about this software was the first week I used it. It was pretty fast and pulled the info I needed. It's advertised as being able to scrape 100 cities at a time and the CSVs that it spits out are clean.

CONS

It just doesn't work as advertised. You can't scrape 100 cities at a time. That lasted all of a week. Then the app started crashing after 45 cities. Then 25, then 10, then 5. Eventually, it became unusable. I talked to support and they had a dev look at the issue. The software worked better on a BETA they released but slowly got worse again. I tried to work with the developer to figure out the issues but he kept telling me I'm the only one having the problem and his dev refused to look into it anymore even though I was willing to experiment and pass along logs. These guys have ZERO INTEREST in improving their app. I even said if they gave me another code instead of a refund (because at the time I was getting 45 cities scraped) I would consider that an acceptable compromise. The support then became rude. App devs ... if you have a customer willing to work with you to fix your bugs, do it! We have several apps and these types of customers are unicorns. Take advantage.

Lead Harvesting

While not perfect, the product works as promised, and does so efficiently with a minimum of annoyances. What more could you ask for?

PROS

This was easy to use. I have used competitive software that was more expensive, that returned signiicanty less results, but email verification is built in to leadscrape - not the competitors - proxy is build in - not the competitors. To avoid being blocked using other products, I had to pay for a Virtual Server, and pay for rotating proxies, this expense is now gone. I like being able to use on 2 machins, because my VA runs this almost daily on strategic niches, but if I have an immediate tactical need - I can run the tool with no conflict. The supplemental information above name address phone and email is also very helpful in prioritizing followup.

CONS

When I run multiple cities, and one of those cities is a large city, the software wil sometimes crash. I avoid that issue by running major cities on their own, but combining lookup by mulitple cities. I't a minor aggravation, but can be dealt with. The Mac Version, the opening screen where you pick your audience to harvest, is very small, and you have to drag the screen to actually see the forms that need to be filled.

I like the functionality & how easily it scrapes leads.

The price is high, but it does work quite well.
