NCM - Great so Far
We are using NCM to make sure we have config backups of our network devices. In the future, we will explore the compliance and syslog change management piece.
PROSPersonally, I like the layout and the many different features. We are just getting started and have only scratched the surface but so far, its been pretty sweet. I would say there is a bit of a learning curve but that comes with most things. With a little trial and error, it is not too bad. That is not to mention support is great (thanks [sensitive content hidden]), they respond ASAP and get you to a resolution.
CONSI think the inventory view could make it a bit more clear on what is managed on what isn't. For example, you might have a device that has the credentials applied and you can attempt to back it up but it might not be "managed". Maybe the icons could be more explanatory initially.
Reason for choosing ManageEngine Network Configuration Manager
Haven't fully decided yet as it is a team decision.

Review after using two years
In terms of config back-up and configlets it has done fantastic job whereas in terms of compliance and vulnerabilities it is not up to the mark.
PROSConfig back-up set up is the most liked feature in the application
CONSSince there is the compliance report in the tool it should give the report for all the devices which are on-boarded to tool. In my case it was unable to give the compliance report for the HP Aruba devices
Reason for choosing ManageEngine Network Configuration Manager
Ease of implementation and usage

Useful add-on
I like it but it took a while to find my way around. The support team are great and very helpful but some dedicated training videos would be good.
PROSNCM is part of our Opmanager deployment so I didn't know much about it when we deployed it The more I use it the more i found out about it. It has some very useful features and is a very good bolt on for Opmanager
CONSIt is not well laid out. Not sure if this is because it is a bolt on rather than a standalone product but I feel that things are scattered about, instead of everything being under a single menu option.. There are two or three different ways to get to NCM specific components and this make sit difficult to find setting if you are unfamiliar with it.
Reason for choosing ManageEngine Network Configuration Manager
It came as part of the Opmanager suite so it wasn't a proactive choice.
