Great service for telehealth or patient CRM HIPPA compliant health care providers

Fantastic. Super easy to use on desktop or mobile for both the host and the client. Highly recommended. Stripe integration is huge.

PROS

Everything. Fully HIPPA compliant video and client record CRM FOR FREE!!! If you need to upgrade it’s very cheap. Support is fantastic; always pushing out new features, listening to customers feedback. Video is stable. Scheduling is easy for the host or the clients. Easy to integrate zoom, google, and Microsoft. Has templates to use for many uses. Easy to use Stripe for billing

Nothing it’s all been a dream. Constant updates fix any bugs that pop up quickly

Great for Startups

PROS

It is cost effective which is vital to a new business! It is also HIPPA compliant and pretty well designed for therapy.

Simple and Clean

Overall, I started when Carepatron started and I've seen a lot of growth. I have considered switching to another program multiple times, but the updates seem to be consistent so I do believe my desires regarding the schedule, reporting, and payments from patients will have more capabilities very soon (I truly hope).

PROS

I like how simple the program is, customizable in some great ways. Easy to communicate with patients via notes and appointment reminders. Consistent updates- updates are happening very regularly.

CONS

The reporting is lacking - not easy to run detailed reports especially financial. Unable to post partial payments. Can't really customize the schedule. It almost an all or nothing type of customization. In other words, If I say I'm open Mondays from 9am-4pm it's like that for ALL Monday's. I'd like to click on a calendar and customize my hours each day specifically if needed as well as the current function.

Practice Better is very robust and I loved the program. However, it had many features I did not need so when they jumped the fee considerably I could not justify continuing.

Seamless Experience

My experience with Carepatron has been nothing short of amazing. I had been searching for an EHR platform that included many of the components needed to run a successful business at a reasonable price point. Well, I found it! Carepatron is simple to use, has an assortment of tools, and is reasonably priced for all professionals. It’s not a platform that attempts to up charge the professional at every opportunity, but identify ways that it can unequivocally meet the needs of its customers.

PROS

What I like most about about Carepatron is that it’s basically an all-in-one platform. In other words, you don’t have to integrate or identify other platforms to be used alongside. From billing, calendars, communication to telehealth, professionals have the ability to operate a business all in one place.

CONS

In my opinion, Carepatron would benefit from an internal email system within its platform. While the note feature can be utilized for communication, having an internal messaging system will allow for more organized and seamless communication that is separate from other files.

I really believe that Carepatron included similar offerings as its top competitors, only at a better price point. All businesses owners are looking for EHR at a reasonable price point that doesn’t jeopardize quality. And Carepatron offers just that.

Small company HUGE potential

My overall experience is good and will, hopefully, become great after a few months with more updates being released. Great software that has potential. A few hiccups that I was able to contact them about and the support was tremendous. They also were open to feedback and I feel heard and like they care about their clients, unlike some other platforms I've tried.

PROS

I like the customization of this product where I can set up services and then task those services to go to a certain member on my team. Therapy goes to one person and coaching clients to another. That way it is one less step towards directing clients on the back end.

CONS

Being a new company with a new CRM they are lacking in some areas. At the time of writing this document creation is lacking, and billing isn't fully automated. For me those are the two big ones but the good news is I have talked with one of the higher ups at CarePatron (believe it or not they actually help with answering the consumer questions!) and these are being worked on and will be released within a couple months.

Reasons for switching to Carepatron

SimplePractice doesn't care about their users it feels like. I asked if features would be added, such as time zones for clients not in the same time zone, and they told me to vote on that topic in the help center or post a new topic. I voted but the topics were well over a year old for multiple topics I voted on. And the responses from SP were disinterest and brushing it off like "it'll be discussed" but then no changes in over a year.

Very useful for provide but needs more customization for patient side

We very much like the provider side of the software, utilizing it for appointments and notes. We have unfortunately not yet used it for the patient side because it does not fit our needs at this time.

PROS

Carepatron is very easy to set up, add clients, schedule appointments, and create a variety of notes that attach to the appointment. Searching for clients is easy, it's intuitive to create notes, and uploading a large spreadsheet of clients was easily done.

CONS

We utilize Carepatron in a way that perhaps is not the norm, so take that into consideration when reading my cons. We use this for the counseling center at a school in order to keep mental health records separate from education records. I wish the following features were available...1) Allow us to set time blocks for appointments that clients can schedule. Some need a 15 minute check in, some need 45 mins and we need to be sure that it follows our school schedule. 2) Allow us to full customize intake and client information sections. Unfortunately, I can't use this at this time because the billing, insurance, and other sections are not used by us and very confusing for our students even if we tell them to ignore it. 3) Along with above, allow us to remove all mentions of billing from the patient side of things.

Best CRM I've tried.

Great.

PROS

Its simplicity. Calendar integration with Microsoft. Ease of use. Mobile access.

CONS

None. It's been very friendly to use and customer service has always been great.

We are not based in the US so we don't need HIPAA compliance which I think makes these software expensive. Carepatron was able to meet our very minimalist needs and with the right price.

Great System for my Practice

Carepatron have been very supportive right from enquiry through to ongoing use and is very responsive to requests.

PROS

I mostly use the calendar for appointment bookings and reminders and the notes features which saves me 1 - 1.5hrs time previously spent on this each week. It was great that I could set-up with my most needed features and then develop use from that.

CONS

I'd like to take off the ability for the client to cancel appointments in the email reminder. I'd prefer that they have to contact me directly

Essential to my practice

From the beginning, everything was easy to set up and to use. When you run into a technical problem, you always have a support team who always help you in a professional and friendly way, sometimes also going out of their way to improve the functionality of the software.

PROS

With Carepatron, you can have peace knowing that all your admin and accounting stay up to date and that everything you need on a daily basis to successfully maintain your business.

CONS

There is absolutely nothing I don't like about this software. I would like to get a payment option also available to my country.

Reason for choosing Carepatron

I can't find any other software that provides exactly what I need. Not sitting with software that's exhausting to figure out or unnecessary functions is great and time-saving.

Carepatron

PROS

I have been with Carepatron since the early days. I like that the team are always responsive and are based locally. The platform is easy to use and lets you as the therapist write your notes, with-out cumbersome steps.

CONS

Appointment scheduling would be great through Carepatron. Currently I use Calendly. What i like about Calendly is that clients don't have to make a account. We have to think about accessibility and reducing barriers to help seeking. If there are too many steps, clients disengage... clients also don't like having to create accounts as they then think they will be spammed. While i like the ability to send out enrolment info and sign T's and C's electronically. I don't like the fact that it makes the client create a Carepatron account. While some clients might want to create a account...some will not. Again it's about reducing barriers to seeking help.

Good, especially with customer service being with a real person, as opposed to only "chatting" with a robot!

PROS

inexpensive, easy to use. Good support by a real person. I have been impressed that the [sensitive content hidden] has schedule tech support with me personally a couple of times, to help resolve my tech issues, which were usually on my end. He was very kind, helpful and efficient.

CONS

I don't really have any cons. I have not yet tried all the features, such as patient self-scheduling or charging patients. I also am a sole proprietor, so I don't have other employees to schedule.

Carepatron for Private Practice

PROS

As a sole practitioner in a counseling private practice, Carepatron has been an excellent choice for managing client scheduling and billing. It is extremely cost effective, which has been important in managing my budgeting.

CONS

Overall a great product

Overall, a positive experience. Carepatron has continued to improve it's services since I began using it around 6 months ago. Their team is also very responsive to questions about how to do something. Their onboarding with [sensitive content hidden] is amazing and much appreciated.

PROS

A cost-effective, relatively easy to use product. My clients love the reminders and it has worked well for my small business.

CONS

Could include (australian) medicare on-click rebate services for clients/ to bulk bill (payment directly to service provider). Could include ability to integrate with google meet. Needs to be able to share items during session on-screen when in a telehealth appointment, and for there to be a "whiteboard" type service. Would be helpful to send out psychometrics to client to fill in before sessions (DASS, etc).

Finally found what I needed!

Carepatron has been such a blessing. I searched for over a year and tried many different platforms. Carepatron has amazing customer service and is very user friendly. I'm sure I have more great features to discover, but for the needs that I have, it is amazing. Though it is free, I am willing to pay for it each month, to support the agency.

PROS

The templates and documentation are extremely easy to use and take notes.

CONS

While I still have some exploring to do, I would like to be able to reproduce the same note without using a separate template for each client, every time I'm updating each individual chart.
