cybersource is a cloud-based payment management solution, which helps small to large businesses process transactions across multiple channels, detect and mitigate fraud, and securely store sensitive payment data. The platform protects transactions by replacing payment card information with microform and embedding it into the checkout page. With its decision manager module, finance professionals can receive recommendations on new strategies, perform what-if analysis and test the effectiveness of strategy on historical data. Complete Payment Platform

PROS

What I like more about CyberSource is that provides all the information you might need regarding the payment transactions and it is presented in am organize way so it is pretty easy to find what you are looking for (status, payment method etc) The option of the filters to find a transaction might seem overwhelming at first but the are very handing when having to look for transactions with just partial leaves of information. CyberSource also allows to create advance rules (country based, amount, velocity) and they are very simple to set.

CONS

The only down side I have encountered so far (but it is the same in all the payment platforms I have work with) is that there is no easy way to download/get the data of transactions older than 6 months.

Great Payment Solution

overall experience is it's user friendly very easy it's new interface for reporting is fantastic.

PROS

It's easy to use, easy to search historical transactions.

CONS

One of the cons of this software is that it does not allows refunds to be processed past 6 month from the transaction date.

Customer Service

Very very frustrating.

PROS

For customer service - nothing. They have been a nightmare the entire time I have been dealing with them.

CONS

Customer Service is horrible. Today I was told that there is a 24 - 48 HOUR!! response time to address my billing issues. This is unacceptable.

Beware of the processor

Terrible experience. Better Business Bureau rating are terrible as well. Wish I had know before switching to them.

PROS

The only thing I have to say that would be slightly positive is that it was easy to set up.

CONS

They will say that they can save you money when you switch to them. They are not. There is fees for everything, including a terminal to use their product. They also make you sign a contract for both, which will not be clearly stated by your rep. When you have finally had enough of Cybersource, you will be charged hefty fees from both Cybersource and their terminal. I was only notified of Cybersource's termination fee. Now my representative with not answer back, even to give a copy of the contract stating this.
