A convenient form for the Microsoft Ecosystem
Overall, for our basic needs, MS Forms is perfect for internal polls, surveys, and quizzes.
PROSI like that the forms are easy to use within the Microsoft ecosystem, our team uses MS 365. The forms are intuitive enough and can be customized to fit basic surveys, polls, and even quizzes.
CONSIt does have limits like being unable to capture e-signatures natively (I think there is a separate integration for this).
Reasons for switching to Microsoft Forms
We used to be with Google Workspace, so when we transitioned to MS 365, we switched this one too. We still use Google Forms for our website, because we want to keep MS Forms within our company's use.

Level up your surveys with Microsoft Forms
Overall, Microsoft Forms is one of the best form builders out there. It helps you to create surveys in just a single click. Not to mention, it has an intuitive interface with no complicated settings.
PROSWhat I really like about Microsoft Forms is its easy interface. It's incredibly beginner-friendly that even children couldn't go wrong. Not to mention that it has themes, by which I can change the background in just a click. I also love the preview option to see what it will look like.
CONSAlthough the Microsoft Forms is free, I could not send or share a form without an active business or education subscription.
Reasons for switching to Microsoft Forms
Microsoft Form is much easier to use than Jotform.

Only use if you need a very basic form...
Creating forms was relatively quick and easy, and there aren't too many confusing buttons to choose from.
CONSWhen my team found out that we were potentially switching from Qualtrics to Forms, we tried making the surveys on Forms and found that there weren't too many features that wouldn't add more work to our end. It would be very helpful if there was an email trigger function so that other emails could be sent out upon completion of a survey - we tried coding that ourselves on Power Automate but for some reason we couldn't pull the listed email and required information

Microsoft forms is way far better than any other survey tools
Very happy and satisfied using the forms. We have been using forms for quiz, internal surveys and few new initiative polls
PROSI liked many featured in the forms. However, the scheduling and the background image change was impressive.
CONSWhile running a live quiz, if we had an option to add the timer for each question, that would have been more helpful.
Reasons for switching to Microsoft Forms
The dependency, login limitations, controls and ease of usage made us switch to MS forms

Basic survey/forms tool, with good integration
It's easy to create a form and store the results. The results can also easily be fed into an automatic flow using Microsoft Power Automate.
CONSVery limited ability to customize the look and feel of the form, and to create more advanced flows.
Reason for choosing Microsoft Forms
Cheap (already included in our Microsoft 365 licenses) and well-integrated with other Microsoft products we use.

Microsoft Forms is a simple way to boost and streamline your teaching effort
Forms has helped my teaching be more efficient, effective and less stressful. Once you have invested the time in setting them up (good news, it is not that hard), your payback is multifold over many years. Bonus - the students love this technology, the instant feedback, and the ability to type their answers. The limit is your imagination.
PROSForms is a relatively simple way of creating tests, surveys and other activities that once set up can be used again and again with little effort to many classes.
CONSIf you are a power user of Forms you can rapidly come up with a limit to how many forms you can use. This needs to increase to make this less of an issue.

Conduct a Propper survey with Microsoft Forms
Microsoft Forms creates the environment to conduct a Propper survey.
PROSCustomization of fields and forms and analytical tools are the most impactful features of this application. Security of collected data is a high concern in surveying and Microsoft Forms ensures the security of my data. there have been no issues till now regarding the security of data. Its ability to integrate with other Microsoft applications is an additional advantage when working as a planning engineer. Exporting data of respondents in different file formats, especially to Microsoft Excel is a valuable feature.
CONSI would recommend having a feature that can create a form depending on how the respondent answers the previous questions. Although it integrates with Microsoft products, it is difficult to integrate with other applications.

Easy to use form and survey builder that is powerful when combined with Power Automate
It's very easy to use, setup, and configure. It also connects with Microsoft Power Automate and Zapier which connects this form to tons of automation and integrations.
CONSOut of the box, the functionality is very limited. The documentation for using with Power Automate and Zapier is not the greatest.

Decent online survey, quiz, poll created software
Intuitive user-friendly interface. It's web-based and cross-platform (Windows, MacOS and others) making it flexible and you can create surveys, monitor them or manage them anywhere on any device. Being a part of Microsoft Office 365 gives it another advantage such as integration with Microsoft excel, which is a powerful data management and analysis tool enabling easy response analysis. Integration with Microsoft office is number one advantage over the competition as it's a business-focused. Microsoft forms distinguishes itself by enabling sending different questions to survey respondents based on their answers. It gives more options to create quizzes, tests, polls and surveys
CONSMicrosoft forms lack diverse questions formats like Google forms which gives linear, scale, dropdown and multiple choice questions formats

There's a form for that!
Overall, our company runs better because of this software!
PROSWe use this software for so many things. Time off requests, administrating student exams, pop-quizzes, surveys for feedback, attendance warnings, requests for tutoring, orientation forms, and more. It can be customized to fit any need.
CONSThe ability to lock or protect a form from being edited after creation would be a huge improvement on the software. We often find that forms are unintentionally changed because we have several users who have access to the same forms.

Very simple and efficient cloud form creation and management
I looked for a simple solution for weekly management reports to be submitted remotely. MS forms provided the solution with this simple, easy to learn free product. I've been using it for about a year without any problems, and will continue to do so.
PROSMS forms is very easy to set up and use. A form can be designed and distributed a matter of minutes and responses are very easy to access and save
CONSThe software is very simple to use, the downside of this is that it lacks customisation options beyond choosing a colour scheme and adding a logo.

Simple tool but with limited customization
PROSThe platform is really helpful in creating and conducting various kinds of polls, surveys, forms and quizzes. Not much effort is required if using the templates.

Making surveys quicker and better - Microsoft Forms
Microsoft Forms has a great UI that makes tracking responses especially convenient. It offers in-built analysis also that gives you the insight you're looking for without any efforts.
PROSThe interface of the forms is pretty modern - both as a creator and as a responder. You can have surveys created and floated right away.
CONSWhile creating a survey, the option to select the type of question can be improved. Also, in case you want to change the question type later on, it becomes a bit tough.

My own Microsoft Form experience.
I like its password-protect options for surveys. As a result of this feature, we have been able to ensure that only invited respondents for our surveys are able to respond to them. Also, the existing default integration between Excel and Microsoft Forms, makes it so straightforward and convenient to export our survey results into Excel spreadsheets for data visualization and analysis purposes.
CONSMicrosoft forms has limited distribution options. Also, there is presently no option to add images to our surveys.

A great option included in our enterprise access
I like that Microsoft Forms is included within our company’s enterprise account. The forms are easy and simple to create overall.
CONSBranching and logic aren’t as powerful as with other survey softwares. The branching can get confusing and tedious to create with Microsoft Forms. Exporting the results into a excel form is very basic and generally requires me to make multiple adjustments in order to get the data into a usable state.

Relatively simple and intuitive
MS Forms is a quality form builder tool. However, by far the biggest benefit is its integration into the wider Microsoft platform. We have had particular success in using MS Forms to trigger various other processes (such as approvals) through Power Automate which feeds into both Outlook and Teams. All without a single line a code.
CONSThere is nothing about this product that is particularly week. Things can get more complex when wishing to go beyond creating a simple form but this is to be expected.
