Pros

You can assign various tasks, due dates, metrics and more to your team members. This allows you to customize it based on your team's needs.

Cons

It's a high price compared to other project management tools. The calendar features could also use improvement.

Pros

Monday is largely adaptable to what a wide range of teams might need. You can customize quite a few fields and columns, and you can see a project timeline all in one place.

Cons

The interface can be clunky and confusing because of varying colors used. One massive miss is that there is no page you can click on that simply gives you a list of YOUR specific tasks. There is only the "boards" for each project, or however you set it up. Because of this, I felt it didn't contribute to my productivity the way I had hoped. I had to go through each project to find all my tasks, which in many ways, defeated the point of what I wanted it for.

Pros

Is really simple to get started and the UI is cool, following the new UI / UX development trends, it has lots of functionalities that help you organize your projects and collaborate with your teamworkers.

Cons

I honestly do not appreciate the price, I think is kind of expensive if you compare it with similar products, some of them are free and only pay for extra features but anyway, without that in mind is a fair option to organize your workload.

Overall great for tracking progress of projects or tasks, has increased transparency and communication in our organization.

Pros

Great for tracking progress that is visible to the entire team. allows for a centralized location to post updates and have the entire team have access.

Cons

Regular updates mean that some features you may have been using might not be available anymore at some point. (ie. Autoscroll in full screen)

Pros

When my team initially demo'ed monday.com, we were very impressed with the overall user interface and customizability. It is truly a beautiful tool to work with, and has many features to increase productivity and collaboration. The sheer number of features was almost a distraction at first, but this is clearly a powerful tool which a dynamic team could employ in really wonderful ways.

Cons

The biggest con would be price, considering other productivity and collaboration tools which offer robust feature sets as well could easily be had for a lower cost. Additionally, my team would have loved the ability to markup PDF files, but this is currently not an option.

I wish I had known about this product long before I did! It would have saved us a ton of time. If you’re currently using trello or google sheets to track candidates or managing multiple projects I suggest giving Monday.com a try!

Pros

I love Monday.com. My team and I were using Trello for the longest time and also excel documents. Monday is the perfect combo of both of those. We specifically use Monday to track candidates during the recruiting process. Love how easy to use the platform is. You can search between boards which is extremely useful if you have a lot of clients and want to search by keywords or by skillset. You can use #’s to link things as well. not 100% on how to do it yet but we’re getting the hang of it. This product is perfect for what we need and was very affordable. 10/10 recommend.

Cons

The only suggestion I have for them and I’ve messaged them directly is creating custom colors for the various labels. They give you about 15 default colors but we’ve maxed that out and now same colors for different labels…not a HUGE thing but definitely would be an easy tweak.

Pros

It's Kanban-based so it's visually stunning. It's easy to use once you get it set up. It has a fair amount of features for free but can get pricey once you start adding full functionality. The more I use it the more I like it.

Cons

It can be a pain to set up. It's even more difficult to get clients onboard with it because non-project managers can get bogged down if they don't already know how to use PM software.

Pros

Its very flexible and can be used across the business for lots of different types of jobs. It's UI is also nice.

Cons

Once you take the plunge and pay for your team, you start getting used to it and realise that they have restricted certain features if you're not paying for the next level up. Often, they are pretty basic features such as searching for pulses (the items of work) and if you're using it properly, you can have hundreds of them. You also can't see change logs that are more than a week old. These are gritty little things that are just plain annoying because they arent cheap in the first place and we only have a small team. One of our pulses is now to find an alternative!

Cons

I would definitely recommend Monday.com to any company trying to consolidate and share information throughout their organization.

Pros

Monday.com keeps my whole company on the same page. I am often off site at meetings and can stay on top of everything going on with my team. It is also great to be able to create your own page to keep track of personal information either privately or publicly.

Cons

It is a bit hard to get used to. My company started using is about 3 months ago and I'm still getting used to some of the features - and their are new ones that pop up all the time!

Pros

I download monday recently. Basically, I was looking a way to organize my own projects without using excel or a gant chart. What I like about monday is the features that it has. It is like a dynamic gant chart that I can change and add more tasks every time.

Cons

At the beginning it was a little hard for me to understand how to use it or which feature to pick. I would like that monday have a desktop version.

Monday (or the Bat Cave as we have started to call it to avoid confusion) has been a great resource for our team. With multiple people being involved in 1 project it does a great job of showing where we are with the project what the next steps are and keeps everyone informed with the ability to add notes and tasks. Attaching files makes it easier than having to send a ton of emails and keeps everything in 1 convenient place

Pros

The product has a bright and colorful feel to it. The ability to create multiple boards and involve other people on them is awesome. The notes and next steps are very easy to follow and the ability to attach files and easily download is soooo helpful

Cons

Like many organizational products out thr gate it is a little difficult to learn but their videos and support is MUCH better than other products. Took about 2 weeks and our team is using it seamlessly

Our company needed a central hub to keep our sales team properly communicated, as well as updated sales funnels. We also needed a ticketing system for IT support for our users. We also needed a central project management tool to help keep our priorities straight among cross functional teams. We also needed a place to keep our to-do's and action items supervised, with the ability to monitor individual performance and assign new tasks as needed to subordinates. We found the ability to do all that in monday.com. The platform is super simple to understand, they have a very extensive library of "boards" that allow you to create different types of process flows. You can send new info into your board via email, and you can respond from the app via email updates. This is a great tool to have a number of communication processes under the same roof.

Pros

Ease of use, simple implementation and ability to have groups by roles as well as private process flows.

Cons

Lack of flexibility on some complex business flows, but they keep adding features on a regular basis that help counter their perceived lack of flexibility

Pros

Really clean, user-friendly interface. Tons of features and functions but presented in a way that does not overwhelm you.

Cons

There are some really obvious functions that are still missing, like being able to write task summary on the main task and then having sub-tasks hanging off from that. They have "work-arounds" but having it directly, as is the case with what Wrike does, would be WAY better!,

Managing our project is no longer a struggle. We no longer have individual to do lists in our notebooks (in addition to the project plan). We can really implement our 'hit by a bus' risk management approach which will ensure the show goes on even if one of our team is away unexpectedly. It allows us to create a project plan in a board for literally anything. We wish we had found Monday.com earlier.

Pros

It is visual, we love that we can customise each board, create templates that work for us and our business. We can assist each other tasks, keep all communication with each other about a task right within that tasks. It's easy to use drag and drop function and colour coding is amazing for us visual people.

Cons

Hmm, this is hard as we love what it can do for us. What I would like changed, and I'm sure it will be on the development list, is that when a board is copied that updates that are copied over aren't read only - we want to copy over updates in our templates but we also want to update them once copied over.

Pros

monday.com is easy to use, you don't waste your time getting to know the tool. You can start right ahead as they apply the KISS principles very accurate. Everything is well arranged, easy to understand and efficiently to manage.

Cons

Welp, not much to say here ;) You get up-to-date mails of what changed during the last day. Sometimes that's just for one simple change which kind of looks fun in the mail since you might have done that change just couple of minutes ago.
