Simple Emergency Notifications
The setup was super simple and took only a few minutes. It did take a little longer to geofence my campuses, but really that was no big deal at all. The app is simple for my staff to use and provides information quickly when seconds count!
CONSThe biggest challenge I face with this software is remembering to add new staff which is really not a problem with the software as it is with the onboarding and offboarding processes in place at my organization.

Rave Experience
We are very pleased with the program.
PROSServing a large school district with 20,000 students, over 30 school sites, and multiple buildings on those sites, we needed an emergency notification device that could reach all staff no matter where they were on campus and the ability to notify staff in transit of any issues. We were impressed with the functionality of this product and the ease of setting it up.
CONSIntegration was fairly easy for staff, but I would encourage school sites to utilize the push notifications in addition to drills so that the platform is kept in front of people's minds. If the program is only used during drills, staff may not use it in an emergency because they have not used the program enough to be hardwired in their minds.

I like the fact that notifications are pushed through cellphones, and have a better chance to reach more staff than on other devices.

Company does not work with Schools due to COVID... ALL about the $$$$$$ Stay AWAY
The company is all about getting your money. When their product did not meet the requirements set forth by the state without requiring an additional subscription to another company, they refused to let a school out of the contract. $7,200 that could go towards COVID response for students that missed out on education or towards resources for teachers instead is tied up in the company wanting to get paid..... They don't do what is right! Stay AWAY!

CONSDoes not connect well with local agencies.

Quick Notifier
The thing I like most is that even if the application is not installed then your users can get the text and email notification of the incident. The software is very easy to use and understand, it have one touch way to send alerts.
CONSCommunication is limited when user sends alert message also I get little confusing in initial setup.

Pros and cons
Very good! I use it, support it, and train other administrators on how to use it.
PROSIt's simple to use and understand, and to train others on how to use it.
CONSHolding the panic button down for 1.5 seconds only to be asked if we want to actually dial 911 burns valuable time that could be use to communicate with an emergency dispatcher. I suggest eliminating the 1.5 second delay and/or the call confirmation question.

Great Software
This system is a great tool to use at our plant level HR team Members, they can easily send out mass notifications with a click of a couple buttons.
CONSJust recently the change to the software, it has taken a little longer to get use to.

Not sure ho we made it without RAVE Panic Button
We have been using the Panic Button app for a few years now and couldn't be more happy with all of it's features. We are hoping to get the funding for other Rave products in the future
PROSThe app is easy to load and use. We manage the Panic Button for our county employees and properties. Using it to not only keep our folks safe, we can send out messages with key information in a timely manner to whomever we want on the system. And customer support and sales are a pleasure to deal with.
CONSI am not sure what could be added to the app to make it better.

RAVE Panic Button
Very good experience. Training for the RAVE app has been easy, and I have gotten responses immediately w hen needed.
PROSThis product is a proactive way of keeping faculty safe. We had a fire at a school, and it pinpointed the location which saved minutes and saved the building. We could communicate with all teachers and staff members through this system.
CONSThe geofencing at one of the schools was difficult because it was two campuses in one. This took time to figure out.

Santa Fe Public Schools and the Rave Panic Button
Our district is very pleased with the Rave Panic Button. It has been very helpful to let staff, visitors and administrators know what is going on at the school sites. It has greatly decreased the calls to the Administrative office when there is an incident going on at one of the schools. We hope to add more schools to the Rave Panic Button over the next few years.
PROSThe mass notification is very helpful for a large school district such as ours.
CONSSome issues with the information being sent out to "outsiders" with a delay.

Rave Review
We have explored other panic button options that were still in development, but Rave Panic button was the easiest to use and understand. Even if you do not have the app installed your users will still get a text and email notification of the incident.
PROSThe app and software were very easy to use and understand. The location awareness of this app is pretty spot on once you map it out.
CONSI like all features of this product.
Reason for choosing Rave Panic Button
I do not remember the name of the other product we explored, but the failure of that product was that they wanted you to manually check what building you were in on a map first before reporting the emergency. With Rave it auto-detects your location for you.

Great App for easily ensuring district safety runs smoothly.
Once you learn to use the App it is not all that difficult. However, I must say that initial set-up is somewhat confusing.
PROSI like the ability to ensure that the administrator can manage staff well. I also like the ability to use the app for drills we run monthly.
CONSSome of the features could be more intuitive. For instance I would like that ability to see drill run by school site rather than just an overall list.

Panic Button uses
good
PROSWe use RAVE for fire drills, active shooter drills, and for tornado warnings. It is the latter that is the most important to us. We want to get all of our children to safety at the same time.
CONSGetting it installed on everyone's phones. There are different makes and models of phones that the employees have, and when they need help I may or may NOT be able to help them.
