Lotus in the Loop

I worked with River at Jaguar Land Rover where we deployed a version called Insight to the global retailer network. I was very keen to bring this capability to Lotus, albeit a leaner, lighter version - that has continued to grow organically with the business. It's been great to see the relationship develop so positively with the Commercial teams - not just IT.

PROS

Loop is a highly intuitive product, and highly customisable. The stand-out benefit of Loop however, is the team at River behind the software. The business engagement, requirements understanding, and collaboration in effectively deploying to market - is standout.

CONS

This isn't really a criticism, but it is possible to go too far on customisation - which obviously increases cost. It's important that the customer agrees the requirements and development priorities.

Reason for choosing Loop

We could have gone with PowerBI dashboard reporting, and a separate task management / audit system for the retailers. However, to bring all of this functionality together in one platform is highly valuable.

Field team usage

Excellent system that even the network comment how easy it is. Proof is the fact the network access it to check data.The support set up is incredible and they always seem to be just behind you be it support or admin user access

PROS

Ease of filtering and visit report creation pulling in actions and opening pages in new tabs to multi page work at once

CONS

The visit report layout and the key elements that need to be read sometimes get lost, however this is improving, but font, colour and bold on the actual PDF could improve things

The system was designed for another part of the business but has been adaptable to be used in our department.

PROS

The Visit reporting really helps in tracking activity and makes meetings and action auditable.

CONS

User categories could be improved especially for action planning.

PROS

- Excellent and prompt support from the team- Software ease of use- Data visualization & analysis- Survey and Action Center functionalities

CONS

Not what I liked the least but an improvement opportunity is to further enhance loop´s reporting functionalities (when it comes to comparing data) which I know the team is constantly working on

Loop Review

PROS

Allows for all performance metrics to be in one place, making for easy retrieval and more effective business reviews.

CONS

Some parts of the system has multiple ways to do the same thing. As an example, when setting actions. Whilst this give great flexibility, it can also lead to confusion.

Dealer loyalty reporting

Loop provides a really efficient way to update and share reporting with our dealer network

PROS

Loop provides our dealer network with access to loyalty reporting enabling users to self serve and monitor performance
