About Shipt

Shipt is a food delivery platform designed to help retail stores, shoppers and customers manage deliveries and online orders. Clients can view receipts and create custom orders by choosing items for multiple product categories such as pet supplies, electronics and furniture, among others. Shipt allows shoppers to track their performance based on acceptance rate, on-time percentage and average rating, view tips/earnings per order and set up custom work orders using mobile applications. Additionally, customers can add notes to specific orders, change delivery address details and order items based on zip code. Shipt's pricing is available on request and support is extended via live chat, FAQs, phone, email and other online measures.

Shipt is my party go to

I had a great Shipt experience. I needed items for a gathering I was having but had so much to do that I did not have time to run around town finding items. That is when I came across Shipt. Shipt is partnered with Party City and I was able to get decor and food items delivered to my home in a short amount of time without even leaving the venue it was an absolute life saver. Thank you Shipt.

PROS

Easy order, delivery tracking, and delivered in hours

CONS

Not too many stores I use but no real problem with the software.

As a shopper and a customer, it's a love/hate relationship

PROS

being able to place repeat orders if you tend to buy the same items over and over is very nice. You can also use store coupons and put in special requests (ie green bananas, don't substitute certain items, etc)

CONS

Many stores are offering their own version of shipt and you don't have to pay a membership fee to use that benefit. So the biggest con is the hefty price tag that an annual shipt membership comes with.

Great Service and product

It has been a great experience this far. They definitely show that they care. The customer service representatives and very helpful.

PROS

I love that I can order my groceries from where ever I am and have them delivered where ever. I love that I can easily stay in communication with my Shipt shopper. I also love that I can shop at several stores in town for what I need.

CONS

I don’t like they bugs that the app has at times. Sometimes the data will not show up proper in the app. Also, sometimes there are system delays.

It's easy to choose stores in your community and shop.

CONS

I know people who used food stamps and couldn't use it at the time I referred them.

Does the Job

PROS

Shipt's shop and delivery platform gets the job done. It's nice that you can communicate directly with your shopper. If there are substitutions or anything, they message you and ask for a preference if you haven't already included backups.

CONS

It's SO expensive for what it is. There are big delivery charges and the prices are so much higher than what they are in the store. It can also take a lot longer than it should to have your items delivered.

Needs a lot of work

This is good if you need groceries or supplies as soon as possible

It’s overly expensive, customer support is rude, and they need to rethink their membership.

Shipt is only worth it if you order often

I tried Ship but I think it's mostly for bigger businesses or people who order often. It isn't available in many places near me so I wouldn't get a membership and it's just too expensive otherwise.

PROS

The store selections, fast and friendly services, and a good list of item make Shipt a good choice overall.

CONS

Must have a membership otherwise you'll have to pay an expensive delivery fee. The biggest problem is that it's only available to order from in very select locations.

Shipt your new best friend

PROS

I love the ability to purchase EXACTLY what you want even when a specific store might be out of the product you're in need of, the shopper will find a way to find a similar item or a backup item you can pick.

CONS

I found it a bit difficult to figure out where my receipts were, certain ones could only be found in my email and not in the app.
