Best POS ever for full service restaurant with multi kitchen station and lots staffs
We need to measure sales performance for each staff but not by table because we are casual fine dining and want staff to serve customer without any limited on specific area or tables. The only one we found on market. And easy to use.
PROS1. Easy UI and no training needed to new staff.2. Stable for 2 years for such complex big system3. Tablet order at table with staff performance reports 4. Auto weekly and monthly report to HQ.5.The most amazing is the speed of support and new features deployment. 10 times faster than our other vendors before.
CONSMaybe local report on POS can improve a little like history check. But not important to us.
Reason for choosing Taptouch POS
They are all iPad based. And ZiiPOS is too complex to use and not stable.
Reasons for switching to Taptouch POS
LIGHTSPEED iPad screen is too small for a full service restaurant like us, and new features r&d are too slow.

Super easy POS to use
We have been running Nicosia, a Turkish restaurant over a decade located on Glenferrie Road in Malvern. As a FSR, we place significant emphasis on customer dine in experience. Taptouch simple interface enable our staff easy to get orders. The intuitive floor plan allow us to realtime insight of dining status and communicate with kitchen smoothly through tablet. We are happy to choose Taptouch POS
PROSOur favourite feature is all-in-1 multi-menu which can switch based on dining mode and time.
CONSNot support Zellar but they now have better payment solution and that's not a issue any more

Inconsistent Performance
It is user friendly however it is not consistent so needs to ask support or help most of the time and even the features are also changed .The product or software should be customised according to the nature of business rather than providing all same service
PROSAs it has a big screen and the good thing is it comes on both side for customer as well as staff so both can see the bill even without printing
CONSIt is not consistent at all every time even though you updated your software and kept features that are needed for your business and the features are gone automatically in couple of weeks time and needs to ask for support again

Hi Segar, Thank you for your feedback. There is a big upgrade from V1.x to V2 and there are some change on UI and improvement of features to meet certification of EFTPOS payment. Now it's stable and hope you enjoy the product in such competitive features and price.

Hi Irene, Thank you for your review. We have a big upgrade these days and frequent update to support new features like Contact-less scan to order, Facebook/Google ordering enhancement. Normally, we have one update/month. But you can keep the old version by (sleep, not reboot) during standby. Any problem, let us know.
