Improved Fleet Efficiency and Increased Trip Volumes Without Adding Vehicles
Making the switch to RouteGenie really helped us take our operation to a new level. Our scheduling tasks take a fraction of the time and we’re seeing much more efficient routes and we’re able to make much better dispatching decisions on the fly and do it faster than with our old software. These two things allowed us to increase our trip volume by about 20% and we didn’t even need to put more vehicles on the road to do it. We recommend RouteGenie to anyone that wants to be more efficient and grow their business without big increases in your overhead.
PROSThe algorithm that drives Route Genie's find vehicle tool for real time dispatching and building the next days schedule is outstanding. There are countless automations built into the software which saves our dispatch and billing team hours of work weekly. Also, the reporting feature is the best I've seen from any NEMT dispatch software.
CONSSo far, we have not experienced any Cons for RouteGenie. The support team is fantastic and the few times we've encountered features that require improvements to meet our business requirements- the dev team at RouteGenie is very open to developing the feature in a reasonable amount of time.

Best dispatch
My overall experience with Route Genie has be great. Working with the employees is such a joy because you call and they treat you with such respect, Also called with ideas that they thought where great and in no time at all the ideas where added the program.
PROSThe pros of Route Genie is the ease of use.
CONSThe cons of Route Genie is that there is other companies out there and you should not have to look any further.

Working with RoutingBox for years and there was no growth with the time's like living on a dead end street. Your system goes down and you could not even get help. Have to leave a message and hope they call back in a day.

Can not believe we’re being treated like this
This so far has been horrible. We switched to this platform as a solution and every time we need support, our response is paying their team premium rates to modify the software they told me would work for me. For example- were told that none of their non emergency drivers in their network are delivered crucial information about their passengers. These crucial items are : 1- whether or not the patient needs oxygen. Some patients need oxygen to breath… could you imagine the person transporting your loved one no knowing they needed oxygen to breath? Yeah us either…. When asked to have this feature, we were treated as though WE were crazy and needed to pay a team to develop this. 2- the drivers in this network are not delivered information about whether their patient has a “Do Not Resuscitate” or if they are a full code patient. Could you imagine your loved one in transport with someone and looses consciousness, and the driver ( who is supposed to be cpr certified by law) doesn’t have the info to help your loved one as soon as they possibly could? Seems as though they have to call their dispatch before 911. Oh and when asked to modify, we’re crazy and need to pay for that feature to be built. It seems as though this sales team is out fishing for companies to beta test this software, and pay to modify the system for Route Genies benefit. At this time we’re stuck for ransom. Please be sure that someone ACTUALLY does a company and process evaluation for you
PROSThe platform is very appealing to the eye. This os where they spent most of their time.. appearances…
CONSUnder promised features. ZERO post implementation support. The Ostrich approach is their main method of handling client concerns.

Robust but user friendly over time
Route Genie has helped us manage our routes in a much more efficient manner compared to our last software. We are able to control labor better, and we are able to easily look up past reservations quickly and easily in case we need to reference note such as which van/driver it was assigned to, what time it was completed, any Dry Run notes, etc. Support staff is typically very quick in answering my questions/problems, and if they don't know the answer right away, they shoot it up to their developers right away, without me having to ask. Overall I am very happy with my experience using Route Genie over the last year+
PROSI like the functionality of the Dispatching screen and the Pre-Assign Modes to get ahead of daily shifts. Much more detailed options that our previous software.
CONSThere are sometimes random glitches that require a call to Route Genie Support, however 9/10 times it's an easy fix. I feel like there are SO many tabs I have to keep open at a time in order to see everything I need to at once, without having for screen time to load if I want to switch pages on the same screen.
Reason for choosing RouteGenie
It was the most up to date in terms of visual appearance. Lots of features including custom reporting. Very straight forward in terms of functionality, and user friendly once you get the hang of it.
Reasons for switching to RouteGenie
The software was a glorified Google Calendar. It was not set up properly by my team (before I got involved in the day to day operations), features were not used properly, or at all. It did not efficiently track information. Overall it was not what our business needed and did not offer a lot of support.

Superior Transportation Management Tool
Driver Efficiency has increased tremendously since implementation as well as the Dispatcher's ability to locate drivers.
PROSThe RouteGenie product is one of the most user-friendly platforms I have seen. The level of support the RouteGenie staff provides during integration is amazing.
