We have used Remind for communication and from bad weather to COVID it has been a lifesaver and time saver in allowing for quick communication.

Remind supports both text and email reminders and announcement making it easy to maintain communication about various events and changes in schedule.

It would be nice if we could integrate with our social media accounts to reach those who don't check their emails and texts.

Communicating with people on a professional level is very easy with Remind. It's not as informal as a text, but an easy way to communicate with a lot of people at one time. I also like Remind for my kids - as it is a good way for them to communicate with teachers. I had to set them up under me, so I am always able to see their communication quickly and easily.

Ease of use. Easy to set up groups, easy to send texts and information. My second favorite thing about the app is that you can download and print conversations very easily.

I've not had any problems with the software and I have been using it for years.

It makes it easy for our administer to send mass message to the whole group.

I can’t send a message to more than 10 people at once.

Able to create customized reminds to remind you or yourself about repetitive meetings and events. Able to reach out to multiple individuals on same platform and is also able to translate from Spanish.

Sometimes doesn’t allow you to delete or remove yourself from certain groups even if they are inactive.

Remind is a must-have for every teacher. Teachers can easily communicate without giving out personal numbers. Remind listens to development suggestions from users and implements them.

Remind makes it easy to schedules messages, send reminders, and communicate with students and parents. I like that you can send reminders to an entire group or individual messages.

Some students and parents may need assistance setting up the Remind system, but Remind provides detailed instructions.

Overall, Remind got the job done, it doesn't provide the same connectivity with the student that is available with other apps like Class Dojo, but it's a reliable app for getting school communications.

I like the communication it provides between teachers and parents. I didn't have any trouble communicating with my child's preschool teacher and group communications were good as well.

It wasn't as user friendly as some of the other classroom apps. I achieves its main function but some other apps have more "fun ways of communicating"

Parents can either reply to messages via app or text message.

The limit on how many characters you can use per message.

Able to enroll parents/guardians/students into specific groups. Then able to message all or specific groups. Also able to attach some documents in messages.

There is a character limit, which can be a pain at times. Learned to just type up a document, convert to a PDF, then share the file to get around the character limit. Also find issue adding another teacher to groups so they can also message groups.

We appreciate the ease of communication, rapid and secure delivery, and fair price.

It is frustrating when non-organization people join our message group. There's probably a setting we've simply not checked somewhere, but thus far we've not found it.

Remind has been very helpful to me as a teacher during my entire career. Students love it, parents love it, and everyone seems happy with all of the things that it offers.

As a teacher, communicating with parents and reminding students of information is critical. Remind allows this communication to be secure without exchanging phone numbers. I love how I can schedule messages in advance, and even send a picture, or a video if needed. I like how parents can sign up as a parent so when you send a messages either you can pick parents or students, and I also like how there is an individual messaging option for a student to reach out to their teacher individually. I also like how there are “office hours “you can set so it will tell the student that it is outside of your office hours if they try to contact you at an appropriate time.

I wish that the word maximum was larger. Right now it is very low, and I have found myself either making a video, or typing out my comment in a note or a message and screenshotting it and sending that instead. I also wish there was a way for group messages to show who has read the message. The individual messaging section does have this, but it would be very helpful if it was in the group section as well.

Remind has been a great experience. It has made communication with student so easy and helpful. It has also made sending and receiving documents and videos an ease.

Remind has been the best product to appear for teachers. It allows me to communicate with my students at any time with out giving them my personal information. I can send out reminders about test and quizzes, or communicate with individual students who need to come make up work. I also use Remind to send out instructional videos when doing a flipped classroom or when we are virtual. I can send out any document in a pdf format to instruct, review or for general information. It makes communication with students easier that using email. I can set it up to get instant notifications to my phone or computer.

My only complaint with this software is that once a phone number is set up, it is very hard to change the information attached to that number.

I absolutely love this app. the school district uses this app to keep in contact with parents and students outside of school hours just in case theres a homework question or a concern about the student. Definately a faster way of communicating instead of waiting for a teacher meeting.

The only thing i dont like is some teachers you cant find them thru the search, you have to wait for them to generate a link or send you an invite before you can start communicating with them

I like that you can have different integrations such as Google Classroom and Drive. Makes it easier when I went to include attachments of documents.

I don't see too much wrong. The biggest issue is the 140 Character limit. Makes it extremely difficult to send something especially if it's a long message.

This is helpful because of how we can communicate with teachers and know what is going o with the students

Seemed glitchy at times, not sure if it was my phone not liking it but I do like the app

Remind is great in that you can use it to text and know that you are reaching people instead of worrying if they have checked their email.

The app is so easy to use and it is great because you can do it successfully right from your phone.

I had a couple issues getting logged in and not knowing if the messages were getting out to everyone or not

What i like most is that you can see who responded.

sometimes i dont need to read what other parents are discussing (they forget that its a group chat./lol Not sure if there is an actually option to just message 1 person in group.

An assignment is due today?? Without the Remind app, I would not have known and would have never completed it. This app saved my life throughout high school!

What I like the most about this software is how easy it is for teachers to communicate with students. With one phrase to the whole class, students are more likely to finish their assignments. After all, that is the point of the application. It is great!

What I like the least about the software is the organization. I believe the classes/courses should be easier to join. Sometimes, it gets a little bit frustrating to find the class that I want to text.

Remind makes communicating with families simple and easy. I've used this for both my classroom and teams, and I have been happy with both situations. I love that you can send mass messages as well as individual. It also allows you to attach photos, files, voice clips, and more. There is a website and an app so the user can easily choose which format works for them. It is great that parents can choose whether to receive texts or emails.

Sometimes long messages need to be split or shortened when sending an announcement. However, this is not the case for individual messages.

Remind helps me be able to communicate with families. It’s a great tool to set up advanced messages to send as well!

Remind is great for setting up a group reminder system while maintaining the privacy of each individual. It allows you to easily input and send out b the message to the entire group quickly and effectively.

One of the drawbacks about Remind is you are very limited on the number of characters you can send. This makes it difficult to ensure all info is included in one message rather than multiple.

It is so easy to send and receive a remind message. It is instant. You don't have to log in to see something. As a parent I love getting messages from my son's soccer coach that otherwise I would know nothing about (time changes for games, team dinners, team pictures.....)
