Review of Groupize Use
Very positive, allowed me to easily schedule my events and get registration.
PROSThe simple layout of the website allowing for extremely easy use and little to no time needed to learn the layout.
CONSSome features not able to be edited as it is hardcoded

Combines excellence in customer support with versatility of function! Love it!
With the help of the speedy and understanding Groupize support team (again, [sensitive content hidden] is amazing) I felt very capable of managing the event. I knew I had backup and [sensitive content hidden] really adjusted the instructions / directions to my level of knowledge, including leaving things out that weren't relevant to my needs to keep it simple.
PROSIf you have even cursory experience with other registration programs, even as a registrant, I believe you will find Groupize intuitive to use in a basic way. Once comfortable with the basics, I was able to look more closely at the different options and capabilities (both by myself and with the guidance of a Groupize support team member - thanks [sensitive content hidden]!), which are super powerful. A tool for beginners to folks with experience, for smaller events to large-scale conferences.
CONSI suggest going through your own registration process multiple times with staff / volunteers first before sending to attendees / registrants. This will help you answer questions about common pathways. For example, some folks weren't sure where to add promotional / discount codes because they were unsure where. After trying myself a few times, I was able to help out. Nothing that couldn't be solved!
Reasons for switching to Groupize
Groupize was supported by the University of Alberta and, in this case, the cost was more effective for our unit.

Great Customer Service- Reporting Needed for SMM
Over all a positive experience. [sensitive content hidden] is incredibly helpful whenever I get stuck on sourcing or assigning programs.
PROSI love the customers serivces, responsiveness and overall help the Groupize team provides. [sensitive content hidden] is top notch, honest and extremely helpful and patient.
CONSReporting is a must to beef up and compete with other similar tools. Since we are not able to pull robust reports it's really hard to pitch a full SMM supported program since the data is difficult to capture
Reasons for switching to Groupize
My current company made the switch before I joined. My previous company used Cvent and I found it cumbersome and glitchy to use.

Groupize: Easy to Use, Quick to Create - a Great Tool!
We are able to offer our travel partners an alternate choice in registration tools while maximizing the internal resources required to build, manage, support and close an event.
PROSI like the ability to get a site configured and in the hands of our clients quickly and easily. The team at Groupize has consistently enhanced the product to make it more robust and very competitive to other systems in the marketplace.
CONSThere are some tweaks that I would make to some areas of the product but those are on the enhancement horizon so I really don't have dislikes.
Reason for choosing Groupize
We use both tools depending on the need of the event. Cvent does have some additional functionality that Groupize currently does not but I don't expect them to be far behind in implementing those.

Groupize for the win!
Groupize has been amazing to work with. From implementation to customer support, we have received amazing service.
PROSGroupize is easy to implement and use.
CONSPayment vendor integration. We currently have a payment provider but must use Stripe. It would be nice to have options to integrate our own service provider.

Highly recommend Groupize
The software is easy to use, and the customer service team responds immediately with assistance and answers to questions. They also listen to the features their customers want and add them in a short time frame.

Awesome and easy meeting solutions!
Groupsize is a great all-in-one small meetings solution-- especially as part of administration with corporate meetings taking place all over the U.S. Groupsize solves that problem with a swipe or click.
PROSScheduling meetings is a breeze with both the mobile app and browser app! Very easy on the iPhone to book and find your meeting space.
CONSSometimes pricing is finicky and will go up in price if you re-search listing, sometimes just minutes apart. This is a small gripe and rarely happens-- very little to find a reason not to like this software!

Groupize Makes Event Management Easy
The thing I liked most about Groupize was the ease of access and that it is a streamlined process.

Amazing easy to use meeting solutions!
Amazing customer service: great response time and am overall very satisfied with the help the Groupize team provides. So easy to use: scheduling meetings through both the mobile app and browser app is quick and easy. It is constantly being enhanced to fulfill customer feedback and to say ahead of competitors. Overall an investment well made.
CONSI don't think I have any cons. Any issues I have are immediately resolved by the Groupize team!
