Zoom meeting, but from phone

It is a very helpful application that i have use it a lot while on-the-go and when i don't have my computer with me. It was a great experience for me.

PROS

Zoom Phone is very helpful for anyone that are constantly on-the-go but need to join the meeting session with client or colleague. It operate from my smartphone, which mean i don't need my laptop to launch the application. The audio quality always clear and i had never had problem with the audio.

CONS

I can't change the audio calls from using my phone carrier to be using the VOIP. It need to be setup before the call are made, and can not change it in the middle of the session. I had to cancel the session and join in it again using the VOIP option. I hope it can be change in the future.

Zoom Phone a great fit for business

We switched to Zoom phone right as the pandemic was starting. We had plastic Cisco phones on everyone's desk and switched them to a VOIP phone. We expected pushback from the employees, but they have loved it from the beginning. Having the flexibility to add the Zoom phone app on your mobile device and make work calls from your personal device but not expose your personal phone number is a huge win.

PROS

Very user friendly on the admin side. You can build and adjust call queues within minutes. You can assign and remove licenses when needed. When transferring calls you can do it by extension or you can look up the persons name to transfer. You can also easily check call quality on the admin dashboard.

CONS

There isn't a search feature on the admin portal. So if you are looking to adjust a feature that you don't use very often you typically have to Google where it is located. It would save a ton of time if they added a basic search to the admin portal.

Reason for choosing Zoom Phone

The call quality of Teams wasn't as good. It was also more complicated to setup call queues and use admin features.

Complete Train Wreck

We were double billed at the beginning and when we requested the second account be closed, it was set to cancelation pending and never changed or refunded. When we attempted call tickets they were never answered. When I called, I would hold from 30-45 minutes each call and several times my call was dropped once answered and I would have to start the process over again. The customer service reps were not fluent in English and read standard responses from a notebook, none of which actually addressed our issues. There was no way to escalate and when we finally received follow ups they still did not address the issues or answer the questions.

PROS

We were pleased to be given the option of using a phone app instead of standard desk phones given the nature of our business.

CONS

The setup process was confusing, call routing and other functions very unclear and hard to set up, customer service completely non-existent.

Zoom -best used for professional online meeting

I am using xoom for online meetings and scheduled events as well as for calling to the customers directly to the his/her cell number if we need any support or a distance. We mapped zoom with outlook so all meetings are being schedule via zoom meetings and also have zoom guest room facilty so its good at all.

PROS

I am using zoom for daily call with seniors customer and also with vendor while facing any issue with network or any other issue. We can record our meeting and also schedule meetings with customer with high quality audio and vedio.

CONS

Nothing to be disliked in zoom meeting it is best used by the organization

Great For When your Laptop or Desktop Isn't Available

It's perfect for business interactions. You can sell remotely without the customer physically visiting the dealership. You can also attend a meeting in the comfort of your home.

PROS

The Zoom platform is available to everyone. It has multiple features that connect you with a larger audience, irrespective of your financial status. It offers free and paid services. Zoom becomes more beneficial to you as your career advances. Using Zoom Phone, you can talk with people on your mobile while away from your computer or laptop. It provides you with the same features as a desktop computer. With its user-friendly interface, remote work has become easier. The team can use collaboration tools, such as screen-sharing and whiteboarding, even on non-working days to increase sales.

CONS

I have experienced some delays with the software loading, and sometimes it doesn't always recognize my headset. Fixing that would be a major plus for me.

Zoom Phone makes my day more productive

I love how productive I can be when using Zoom Phone, It has become an essential tool on my day by day. My meetings don't lose quality, I can still use all the tools and optimize my time. I recommend everyone to have Zoom Phone installed on theirs.

PROS

I like that I can attend my meeting from my phone while I'm on my way to work or simply doing other things, I can block my phone and still listen to my classes and it doesn't consume much data or battery.

CONS

I find it a bit annoying that I can't keep active the camera while using other apps or minimize the meeting while checking more information

Great for conference calls

I use it on Daily bases and I suggested it to use it to allow communication with remote teams.

PROS

It is easy to use and access on various ways it has many possibilities for effective daily meetings and workshops.

CONS

Adding new silly features like filter and similar, not needed for business purposes and I would rather see them work on some useful features.

I haven't. I suggested Zoom and we do the switch. I have used in a past with different company and I was satisfied.

Can't get out of the contract

The product is great. Customer support is great. Sales is ... irritating.

PROS

Zoom Phone is an excellent product. It works great and the phone setup is pretty easy once you get through some little details.

CONS

We need to reduce our spend and they won't let us out of our contract until September. If I can't cut some expenses in the age of Covid, we might not be around until September. But they don't care; they're not offering us any way to reconcile this without staying on contract for another 8 months.

Reason for choosing Zoom Phone

Zoom phone had a lot going for it. RingCentral was more expensive and complicated.

Simple and Easy to Use

We have finally found our office phone solution! The ability to have our office line anywhere is a huge benefit.

PROS

- Good call quality - The ability to have the office line "on the go" is great - The ability to integrate with other software, especially our CRM, is really good

CONS

No Cons to write about as of yet. If anything, I need a better internet connection!

Reason for choosing Zoom Phone

Price point was better. We were also not using Google for other aspects for our business, so it didn't' make sense for that reason too.

Knowing that Zoom PHONE is a very good telephony alternative for both individuals and companies, it has very good aspects that make it stand out compared to conventional telephony providers, they would be the following: 1- It is a service that is in the cloud, that is, it can be accessed from anywhere that has internet. 2- It is an application that is unified to make calls and video calls and allows you to make changes from one to the other without having to redial or hang up. 3- It has great international coverage, that is, it allows optimizing global and international contact. 4- I love that it has integrations that are very useful when it comes to business meetings such as: Salesforce.

CONS

Just as Zoom PHONE has many positive anet access, basicallyces its use and that is internet access, basically without internet access Zoom PHONE would be dead and would not take place, I think that when comparing with other providers telephony, plus zoom can not be used in basic phones, but not to mention all that Zoom phone is very well developed.

Meet anyone, anywhere on Zoom

Overall, Zoom is a really good platform that offers various features that families and businesses will find useful. It is considered one of the best video conference platforms available that suit businesses of any size. For free anyone can use it for 40 minutes, so it's worth trying to. However, it is not perfect and misses some lagging issues. These are quite minor when compared to the benefits but still something to consider.

PROS

Zoom has become an effective and interactive tool to connect me to friends overseas since the covid-19 spread. We can connect fast, stable, and at any time by setting a secure link with or without a password to be shared through smartphones or laptops. The software has features that allow anyone to manage personal or professional meetings with a series of tools ready to handle control of profile pictures, backgrounds, and sound functions. Using the software through a laptop brings you a unique experience where you can set breakout rooms for small groups while you manage the main room or even create pools to make the experience even more exciting. Up to 50 individuals can attend the same meeting and probable it has increased while I write this text. It is free or paid, you choose the feature more suitable for you.

CONS

According to the purpose of your use, It may take some days for you to learn how to manage the software, as it brings a lot of features. If you provide a webinar it may cost you some dollars. By using it through your smartphones you'll miss some of the most important features, such as being a host able to fully manage peoples' interactions or sharing your contents or projects on your laptop screen.

a simple and pleasant software to work with

Zoom is much more than a videoconferencing application. It has always fulfilled my needs during my studies and I am very satisfied. I have rarely encountered any bugs and I recommend this software 100%.

PROS

I find that zoom is a very fluid software, the packages are affordable, it is very easy to use. We have a quality at the level of video calls, and a dashboard quite provided.

CONS

It has some problems with data sharing and intrusions. I have noticed some security flaws especially when it comes to data sharing on Facebook.

Best Video Communication Tool I've Used Yet!

I use Zoom Phone almost everyday for work and prefer using this software over any others that I have used to date!

PROS

Zoom is super easy to use from your computer, but having the ability to use it just as effectively from your phone is a huge plus and gives zoom the edge over some other video communication tools that I've used in the past. Having the option to call in from a phone number or to video call from your phone makes the tool perfect for occupations where you have to travel as well.

CONS

The only downside that I've experienced with Zoom is the audio issues I face (rarely, but they do occur). Connecting to Zoom audio through bluetooth doesn't always work the first time and I sometimes have to leave and join the call in order to get the audio to work correctly.

Great app for everyday remote work.

Remote meeting is made easy as though you were physically in the office and I have been a beneficiary because I haven't physically been to the office and I've been able to work effectively and present my report without any problem. Work has been more effective with zoom.

PROS

Working remotely has been made easy with the use of zoom in presenting our daily reports. The application hasn't required any technical knowledge to use and anyone of us with access have been able to setup remote meeting to present various work related. Integrating this application with our in-house system has been seamless and no difficulty so far in synchronization with our mail system. Overall it is a great app to use.

CONS

Integrating zoom with our business process wasn't difficult at all because it was easy integrating with our mail system and every participant gets a notification almost immediately. However, it is difficult to use the application especially the mobile app when the network strength is weak. I believe this can be improved upon.

UCaaS solution that can outdo larger players in the market

I really like Zoom Phone + Zoom Meeting so far. Part of our org still uses a different provider due to contract ties but i am evaluating moving whole org to Zoom in the next fiscal year.

PROS

I've used almost all leading UCaaS vendors, and what i like about zoom is its ability to monitor a line without needing for an active live call.

CONS

It's fairly new to the market and i have not experienced any issues. I will go back to review if i experience any.

Zoom Phone is good

When we decided to go with Zoom as our meeting application the phone part of it was almost and add-on as a afterthought. Going forward it looks like we will be switching to Teams but we will still be using zoom phone

It's sImple to use and we got to replace our physical phones with a simple digital interface. Built in voicemail.

CONS

The pricing can be a little high for amount that it's used? How many of use really use the phone that much nowadays?

Screen sharing is a joke! You have to start a meeting in order for this to work. Internally that is just a mess and not time efficient at all.

Zoom in

So far am happy with the software as it enables interaction between me and management even when am at home overall rate out of 10 I would say 9 just that there is nothing 100%

PROS

Zoom has high quality video and audio call which enables conversions or video conferences without interruptions.The function to add or remove people during calls is also a plus on the app. The software also meet all the 3 Es Effective, Efficient and Economical. The price is very cheap and you do not get pop ups during calls

CONS

None so far as most of the disadvantages are minor and does not really affect my day to day use of the software

Zoom gets us by!

My job is almost entirely zoom based now. Last year I had no idea what it was or how to use it. That sure changed quickly. It's easy enough to use, but lacks the ease of Google Meets. However, it is the most used platform in my district meaning that I use it daily, and it has been easy enough to adapt to. Overall, great, and definitely helps during this challenging time!

PROS

Zoom brought us back into school when we were not able to be in person. Zoom has good features and is easy enough to figure out without much training. Some features are a little confusing still, despite my using it every day, but its a really good option to connect when you are not in person.

CONS

Some features are challenging to figure out at first. Facilitating meetings without experience can be confusing. Just playing with it has helped though!

Good basic functionality, familiar to many users"

Recognizable to the vast majority post-COVID - Versatile application functions admirably - Email warnings assuming somebody has joined a gathering you're facilitating before you've sent off the gathering

CONS

I hate the UI; it generally feels like Zoom is intended to be the main thing tyou're doing while at the same time utilizing Zoom, though I'm typically working behind the scenes part of my gatherings. It isn't as advantageous to perform various tasks and multi-screen and some other gathering stages - Independent thing without covering apparatuses: we use Microsoft Teams principally for our gathering programming, and I partake in the way that it's important for our set-up of different items we're utilizing as a Microsoft-based climate. Assuming that Zoom was "important for" different projects I'm utilizing, I'd pick it on a more regular basis!

PROS

Ease of use and huge capacity makes it a go to every single time.

CONS

The background selection and settings could greatly improve. FHD with a higher bit rate would be welcomed too.

DUE TO COVID NO IN PERSON MEETINGS

my overall experience with this software is awesome. We are in a remote world these day and work must continue. This software gives us the opportunity to communicate with our staff at all locations at one time without being in person.

PROS

We are so thankful for this software at the job. Due to the pandemic we have been closed to the public but still need to communicate with the staff at all locations. This software makes this a breeze.

CONS

So far we are loving this software for our remote meetings. It gives us a way of the feel of in person but not in person when we have discussions that should be face to face.

Best VOIP protocol

In a nutshell, my experience has been very inspiring.

PROS

Zoom Phone is our most beloved portal for VOIP, phone calls, online meetings and video conferencing.

CONS

Do not really have anything negative to report about Zoom Phone as I have not faced any call drops while using it.
