New to Demio, but won't ever look back!
This software has been a game-changer. I'm so glad we no longer have to worry about dropping webinars, losing connections, or battling bad customer service to get anything donw.
PROSWe recently switched from WebinarJam to Demio, and we couldn't be happier. The ease of use, integrations, and customer service by far outperform any service we've tried to use before!
CONSThe only con I've found so far is that you can't simulate a "live" chat through automated webinars. But I've been told this will change in the future.

WebinarJam made huge changes with no warning and their customer service has always been terrible.

Demio is a fantastic product
Demio is easy to use, is refined actively by the product team, has very helpful/knowledgeable support staff, and removes a lot of the manual work associated with webinars.
CONSSome fairly simple things, such as searching for form fields when syncing with Hubspot can only be done through scrolling (you can't search up field names), which can be a hold-up in this process.

We made the switch to Demio because we could see Demio was constantly refining its product and the software provided in-detail insights about audience engagement.

not so good.
PROSThe third-party integrations are good. I have seen many tools gicing such integrations.
CONSThis tool doesnt have several features. Like in some computers it shows up that you can share specific window screens. But in some computers again it doesnt let you do that. You only got to share the entire screen. Thats so painful in a webinar. You cant turn off the chat. They dont have an app for windows like Zoom. Zoom is way handy. Most importantly, it consumes hell lotta internet bandwidth. Note, I am not talking about the internet storage, I am talking about bandwidth. Where Zoom is way better and a way light weight tool. Like, while testing the connectivity, it will show you the connectivity is excellent. But while being in real time it will show up it is poor. That is painful. Also you cannot pause your screen like you do in ZOOM. you got to disconnect it completely. Again painful. I continuously connect and disconnect, do you think that is something a trainer or host would prefer. Like ZOOM would even load when the network is slightly slower. But demio doesnt give a damn, the webpage will not load itself, it would keep loading forever. Although it is ok in most of the cases, but ZOOM is way better in this coding aspect as well. Overall I feel they are yet to come up with a better compatibility with network, computers and more.

Best of class software for live webinars. On-demand functionality lacking a little.
Fantastic. Some issues to iron out but 100% committed to the platform, the team and the vision.
PROSDemio was the new kid on the block when we made the switch and we wanted to support the vision for a platform specific to marketers. Demio have delivered on that better than most. At that time WebinarJam had serious Google integration problems so it felt safer to go with a solution that did not rely on external streaming.
CONSOn-demand functionality and email scheduling/customising. Video quality on recordings remains highly questionable; regardless of strength of connection (we are on a Gigabit connection and quality is still poor).

Love [SENSITIVE CONTENT] vision! WebinarJam had serious issues and we cancelled our annual plan.

Demio is the best webinar solution I've ever seen!
We're using Demio for all our webinars and content recording for our digital products and programs. Whenever we get stuck, we just ask the amazing team on the helpdesk.
PROSSo simple and straight forward to use and highly user friendly. Easy click on or off functions when adding components to your webinars, such as emails or customising your registration pages.
CONSSome more reporting and statistics could be developed for the affiliate section, but I know that this is already in the making.

We'd also checked out a couple of other webinar platforms like WebinarJam, Everwebinar and Get Response and again, Demio left them all for dead for functionality, simplicity and userfriendlyness.

Even though GoToWebinar was good, it is very clunky, rigid and old-school and it's also triple the price!

Love it! Excited about the new marketing features coming out
Demio has been a great addition to our toolkit throughout this pandemic and allowed us to offer automated and on demand sessions as well as in-person sessions. Using Demio has increased our mailing list. It's been a great solution for a socially anxious community as the tech is really each and they are confident they won't be on camera/audio.
PROSDemio has been great. Love that you can easily create a landing page that looks great; send out automated reminders with a customised message; link with Mailchimp (should the person signing up approve that, which is probably 50/50); it's lovely that our socially anxious community cannot accidentally turn on their camera, as has happened via Zoom. Replays can be automatically sent out. A great feature is the ability to share handouts for download within the webinar chatbox. Love that Demio are regularly updating their product and sharing their roadmap.
CONSOn some video playbacks, the sound seems to have been glitchy. Some people have found it hard to access or hear at times, though I believe this seems to have resolved. Presenters cannot access via a mobile phone. It's more suited to using from a laptop. Would be nice to have the option to have everyone on screen - as we have had to go back to using Zoom for some calls because of this.

Easy to use webinar platform and amazing customer support
Very satisfied with Demio. I don't have webinar needs very regularly, but I will definitely consider them in the future.
PROSI chose Demio because I wanted an easy webinar solution, and it definitely delivered. I like the different options for presenting, that it has interactive tools, chat, great statistics, etc. And I was very impressed with the quality of the customer support team. Really responsive, fast and kind.
CONSI didn't like that the reminder emails were not very customizable and the Spanish version could definitely use some improvements.

Super easy and intuitive
Our first webinar experience was made super smooth and easy by using Demio. Our company is just getting starting organizing webinars, and using Demio made the whole thing less scary. Reliable and easy, for the organizer and the attendees.
PROS1. Very easy to get started, everything was very intuitive. 2. Perfect to skip the download part of a webinar, makes the experience super smooth for the attendees. 3. The automatic recording of the session works beautifully. 4. Absolutely love the setup with split screen between webcam and slides
CONS1. Would love to be able to see my notes on screen while presenting my slides, miss this function. 2. It would be great if the system was directly connected to Hubspot (although it does work ok with the Zapier solution as well)

We read some negative reviews of the other alternative. Also, the free trial of Demio was very easy to set up and convinced us that this was the right fit for us.

Very nice webinar platform - good value for your money!
It is a very simple yet elegant platform. Easy to deploy, customize and use. It can be customized and integrated with your website without intrusive logos. All colors can be adjusted to your brand.
CONSNo subscription would allow you to have all the options you may want (like an automated webinar) for a smaller audience. If you need those options, you need to pay for a much larger subscription which you may not need. There is no ala carte way to pick up what you need.

(_Almost_) everything you need in a webinar platform
Despite some of the issues outlined above, we renewed for another year, which speaks more than anything else. In my opinion, a better platform than Demio really doesn't exist at this juncture.
PROSDemio is intuitive and we love how easy it is to create, manage, and run live AND automated webinars. The viewing experience, down to the colors of the room and the custom domain, all point back to our brand. Featured actions work well and really help to engage our audience. It's incredibly simple to create beautiful, simple registration pages with minimal effort and the waiting room makes for a great attendee experience. We also love that you can pre-load materials into the room for less stress day-of!It's obvious that the Banzai product, sales, success, and support teams are all invested in developing a great end-to-end experience for customers and they're extremely receptive to feedback...I _especially_ appreciate their public roadmap.
CONSThe biggest friction points for my team are as follows (and to Demio's credit, their team continues to invest heavily in correcting these issues, some of which are already better since the summer): 1. Performance & quality: This sometimes result in laggy, lower resolution streams (replays, especially)2. Overconsumption of RAM: To compensate, we use Firefox rather than Chrome (the latter being our preferred browser) to run live events3. Somewhat difficult to manage Q&A: We'd love to see the option to "claim" a question when there are multiple moderators attempting to answer chat or Q&A with written responses. This would ensure that we avoid duplicating effort. As far as I'm aware, this isn't a feature available on any platforms at the moment, but would really make a huge difference when it comes to managing large events with a high volume of chats.

We needed a platform that we could better customize to our brand and better engage our attendees. Demio fit the bill, while remaining competitive in price. One of our big requirements was a HubSpot integration and automated events, both of which Demio excels in delivering.

Dont use this - Zoom is much better - Even if you buy, sign up for monthly plan first
I made a mistake of signing up to annual plan. By the time I had made up my mind to go back to zoom, their refund window got over. My request to give me a prorated refund for unused period got rejected. Money went waste & so was precious hours trying out this system. Hope these vendors have better & fair refund terms for people who trust them & sign up to their annual plans. Going back to zoom & not coming back here again.

CONSMany key features are missing. There is some issue with the code. Two main problems were that the presentation's complete formatting used to get corrupted after loading it on Demio. Never happened with Zoom. Plus screenshare was not at all upto the level of what is offered in Zoom.

Favorite Webinar Software
This was so easy to setup and to use. Customer support and the education has be the best. If I have a question the customer service chat is so helpful. I love that it gives me articles to help myself and then a live person to communicate with. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is my guy...He is quick in response. I had a live event we couldn't present and so we did an automated event instead and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was able to combine the join link for those registrants. Worked like a charm.
PROSThe clean and intuitive use of the software The ability to replay the webinar and automate a replay. The ability to have public and private chat allows us to help presenter answer questions along the way.

Webinar software
I'm using Demio to promote my online course and an online community. I found it easy to use and if I had any questions I got a quick response. I got good feedback from my attendees. They liked the reminder emails.
PROSBasically it did what I expected it to do and some more. Great email management. Screen presentation optimal. Easy to use though it's the first time I'm using it.
CONSThey have just added a feature to be able to invite up to 4 attendees on stage. I tried it once but it didn't work. I'm afraid I didn't try it the second time round but they said that they had fixed the problem. One of my attendees who attended on her telephone that she would have preferred to have seen me as well as the chat feature and not have to choose between the two.

I think Zoom is excellent for giving online lessons which is what I use it for. However for webinars i felt that Demio had better features.

Competent webinar software with room for improvement
- Ease of setup - Different kind of webinars to choose from (Live, on-demand and automated) - Automatic recording of any webinar I have - Works perfect in terms of admins, hosts etc. - Always hassle-free
CONS- Non-customizable e-mail reminders - The price (there are really no in between if you want to have a customized interface) - Would prefer to customize and brand the webinar itself in terms of colours etc.

Very impressive first impression.
Brilliant! If your undecided or swayed by other features or price brackets of competitors Demio is worth the extra money (although it is cheaper than some) and it has all the features you need to run an amazing webinar. 100% positive.
PROSEasy to use. Confident that it will work. Easy to manage and set up integrations. Simple to edit and make changes to registration pages. Super fast and friendly support.
CONSCompetitors might have a couple of extra features but with Demio everything actually works! And I’m sure there bringing out updates all the time.

Parts of the WebinarNinja interface I found to be clunky and hard to use. Features didn’t work. Lots of issues after a recent upgrade making it unusable for me. Spent hours reporting issues. Needed software solution I could rely on.

Demio is quite a powerful service when it comes to hosting a webinar or meeting. Usint this platform does not have any complexity, when you start using it you will be able to fully adapt to the creation or programming of webinars for some dates, in addition, it is quite easy to integrate new participants for each webinar and also send invitations for some people. Demio helped me a lot in my work area, it allowed me to hold quite extensive meetings without any kind of limit in the elapsed time, in addition, it allowed me to enter many participants in each webinar, which helped us to share information with a larger audience. I was fascinated with the great utility that this platform represented, the web version behaved wonderfully and provided constant fluidity in each webinar carried out.
PROSThe video quality is one of the most outstanding things about Demio, it has a video quality and fluidity that really impressed me, despite the fact that it works from the browser since this platform is only available in a web version, its behavior in this web version is quite shocking and beneficial. Demio has excellent ways to get in touch and constantly communicate with the participants, you can carry out various surveys, voting with expiration time and you can also send questions to the participants and view the answers in real-time, in addition, live chat allows attach files, send emojis, attach images and have a fluid conversation thanks to real-time chat. In addition, Demio allows the integration of roles and multiple hosts, this will be really useful if any user needs help in managing a Webinar. Demio has everything that any user is looking for to have a stable connectivity in a Webinar.
CONSDemio does not have wide availability or device compatibility. Its web version works perfectly, but it would be great to be able to use downloadable Demio app, this would help so that you don't have to use the browser to start a Webinar or schedule it for a certain date, it would be great to be able to use Demio from my MacOS computer without make use of the Safari browser. Another of the problems that can be found in Demio is that currently it is not possible to share a specific window on your computer with the participants; if you want to show something specific on your computer, you will have to start screen sharing and all participants will be able to see everything on your computer, that can be a bit awkward.

Easy and versatile
Demio has been great for our use cases. We began our journey with Demio with 1 program/event in mind, and as we grew and explored we have begun to use Demio for many different use cases. From Marketing to Sales to Customer education and success — we've been able to take advantage of Demio's versatility and different event types to create experiences that span the entire customer lifecycle. The integration capabilities, as well as the analytics provide a great deal of information and capabilities that make our lives easier on the back end, and help us to iterate and refine our webinar/digital event program to make for a great customer experience.
PROSDemio makes it simple to create and run a digital event. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. The backend is self-explanatory and easy to set up. The actual webinar rooms have great options, are easy to figure out and use, and well-designed for a positive digital event experience. From presenting slides, adding polls, adding handouts, playing videos, looking at analytics, sending automated emails, answering questions, getting a recording of the event, and promoting/sharing the registrations links — Demio makes all of this easy and just a few clicks away.
CONSThe video and audio quality aren't always the best. Presentation slides appear blurry, video feed can go in and out, and the audio isn't always clear. Some features seem incomplete, or could benefit from having just a bit more flexibility and personalization, but A/V improvements would make a world of difference.

Fatally flawed
Generally good, due it appears to nothing but pure luck. I break out in cold sweats when I think how close we have un-knowingly come to disaster in the past due to this bizarre time-bomb built into the service. And we were not even told about this until we were in the middle of post-morteming a catastrophic failure on the demio platform that had killed one of our events.
PROSIt's clean, has an attractive interface for attendees
CONSDemio is fatally flawed. Imagine you are hosting an event ... wonderful speakers, 200 attendees hanging on their every word. Then *your* broadband connection goes down. Or you have to leave *your* laptop and it hibernates. Or it crashes. You now have 10 minutes to get back online, otherwise your event is (genuinely - confirmed in multiple emails) instantly terminated and your guests are kicked out ignominiously. You will not be able to get back into the session to even tell them what has happened. Why would a piece of software be written to do this ? After more than 30 years in software development I cannot even imagine ... So instead you get to sit anxiously in front of your laptop praying that nothing goes wrong for more than ten minutes, shuffling the mouse to make sure it stays awake, wondering if you're going to make it to the end of the day. That's why we're leaving demio ... nobody in their organisation seems to think this is an issue and nobody in our organisation wants the stress of hosting events on demio any more.

Having said that, the 10-minute auto disconnect is actually something on our VP of product's radar to change in the very near future. This function was originally put in to solve some other issues like an event going on forever after everyone had left. Demio review: 4 Webinars done, 2 more to go for pilot.
So far I am very pleased with the experience. I have had questions and was able to get responses back from the Demio team if not immediately, very quickly. In some cases, the responses added additional insight beyond my initial question pointing me to other aspects of the software that were helpful. I have recommended this product to other colleagues.
PROSAn aspect that was really intriguing about this software was the lack of attendees having to download anything to get on the webinar. So many platforms require downloads, logins, and other things that can make people just give up. With Demio, they just click and are able to get in quickly via their browser. The customizable registration and reminder system are really helpful to increase the attendee percentages and I love being able to get analytics across all aspects of an event. A feature of this product that had an unexpected impact on revenue generation was the ability to send a replay link out to all attendees. I had folks that didn't even attend the webinar watch the shared replay and engage.
CONSThe pricing model was a bit confusing to start but after a couple of answered questions, it made sense.

Great platform for hosting webinars
What I liked most about Demio was how easy it was to set up events. The various features to use during the webinars (polls, CTAs) were an added plus.
CONSThe fact that there is a limited number of people that can be on stage at the same time.

THE best value (and easiest to use) Webinar software on the market today.
Great experience and great value for money.
PROSIt's so easy to understand and learn how to use it.
CONSTo get attendees to talk with each other and with the presenter you have to invite them to the stage and they have to accept. This gets a bit complicated at times. I'd prefer going back to having a mute and unmute function to be able to talk attendees during the Webinar.

Demio is easier to use. Webinar Jam used to be simple to use but now it's got more features it's too confusing for what I need.

It was waaaay too expensive and too complicated to use.

Tech support that is Actually - Support!!!!

PROSI am a new user and we had a bit of an error in our time zone. When I went to use tech support my expectations were low - as if you have ever conversed with tech support chat boxes its a bit like slamming your face into a wall. BUT Meritas was amazing. She clearly understood what I was asking and able to easily fix it for me. It was so painless and efficient. This alone would lead me to recommend this software.
CONSId love to have a registration page for webinar attendees that I manage in dashboard VS the link only Id also love to be able to run the schedule more flexibly - ie set it for monday, wed, friday without having to create individual events for each day

Webinar jam and everwebinar i had to download extra software to convert my video - ugh no thanks Demio i just recorded in Mp3 adn uploaded. Pls I love the monthly fee option VS everwebinar where its only a yearly fee

Great features but not ready for Prime Time
Trying to find an alternative to ZOOM for large 500+ webinar audience.. This is NOT it.
PROSNO need to download an app for attendees. Really nice features, especially the action feature. Very intuitive set up . Simple to apply branding. Nice intuitive screen layout for hosts, presenters and attendees. BUT....
CONSDeal breakers for us were the performance and browser limitations. If you plan to have a large webinar with 500+ attendees, the short list of browsers will be problematic. Also just plain performance was lacking, freeze outs, and inconsistent holds if there is any compromise in connectivity. Also, i did not like that you cannot grant the mic to an attendee independent of the camera. It appears to be all or nothing.
