IconCMO from Icon Systems gives church administrators a way to manage membership data, communications, contributions and accounting in one cloud-based system.
Tools within the membership management module let administrators create, update and view individual and family profiles, schedule pastoral meetings and follow-up calls with visitors, record interactions with members, track attendance and more.
IconCMO also includes features to streamline communications with individuals and groups by email or text message with a few clicks and to generate member directories with photos that can be customized and displayed on a website for church members to access.
Contributions and pledges are tracked in the contributions module, which supports online and offline giving. Contribution statements are automatically generated, then can either be printed for mailing or delivered to donors by email.
Finally, IconCMO’s accounting module offers true fund accounting with accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, balance sheets, FASB standards-compliant reports and more.

Few packages seems to have everthing that this has: Fund accounting, integrated contribution accounting, family info, etc. Accounting on-line is great, never have had a problem with speed or access. But software is a bit cumbersome, particularly trying to modify postings. Some things you find out need deletion and reposting. Memo and dollar amount cannot be modified after posting. Cannot split funds assignments after the fact. Fund transfers must be reversed with a corresponding entry. You must enter general ledger to change date, account assignment or fund.
I find the on-line forum is great for asking questions at any time and viewing answers that have already been asked.
Price goes up as number of entered persons increases. Members can have individual access to view or change their information, but no-one in our congregation desires going through the steps to do that.
