Genius Manufacturing ERP Software


 

Genius ERP is software for small to medium-size custom manufacturers. The system is industry specific and works with machine and equipment manufacturers, steel tank and process equipment manufacturers, transportation equipment manufacturers, and food and bakery equipment manufacturers.

The enterprise resource planning software offers users quoting and estimating to create quotes for projects, convert quotes into sales orders, generate requests for quotes, and provides integration with Microsoft Excel. Users can track shipping and invoicing, purchasing and procurement, as well as production planning.

Genius ERP offers inventory management, quality control, document management, time management, and job and project costing. Other applications include customer relationship management, reporting and analytics, dashboards and alerts, and accounting and financial management.

With the job costing application, costs are calculated in real time and with the project planning module users can view the production floor in real time. The system is deployed on premise and is compatible with Windows operating systems.

The software meets our needs; interfaces are intuitive, easy to use. People who work at Genius are competent and are able to understand our needs.

Likes Least

Documentation and user guide are not always up-to-date; I knew that a new customer service department was now in place. This surely will help get answers quickly to questions of use.

Recommendations

It is a pretty good software for a SME; because it's easy to use, a short introduction is enough to be functional; it is always possible to test and learn by ourselves. Since the financial module is available, we switch our accounting system for it. The greatest benefit is the ability to have all our data grouped within a single system.
