Using product development, users can create a detailed bill of material from a conceptual design. Product development is embedded across the entire platform, using imbedded analytics and a change control system; from there, users can define how the item will be manufactured using a visual assembly user interface with drag and drop functionality.
After the order has been created, a dynamic pricing engine will assign a price. The system alerts for low inventory and shipment delays, and users can then alert planners using Oracle’s social network.
Warehouse operators can view inbound expected lines, select purchase orders, and create receipts. Production operators can utilize the scan-based lot and serialized assembly, along with rapid entry of material and resource exceptions.
Once finished goods are available, Oracle SCM cloud supports shipping, invoicing, and other fulfillment tasks. Reporting across the entire platform allows users to customize, create, and deploy reports and analytics.
