Each new release for the past 3 years seems to be worse and worse.

It's fun to work with once you know what the software can do and know where everything is on the toolbars, which also can be customized.

We can produce cleaner faster construction drawings than any of the local architectural firms we deal with. When I have a problem I submit a concern to the help desk and get an answer the same day.

Having used this program since version 10 and I would say that if you are looking to do presentation drawings this is a good program.

Everything, I hate every single thing about this software. It is not smart whatsoever.

The graphics are good, better than hand drawing.

I'm considering getting the latest version. It's gone up in price since the old CA version 9.5 that I purchased, but I'm sure it will be worth the cost.

You don’t have to attend their classes because they have a great library of videos to help with the learning curve. They also have a great community of people working to help you solve problems.

It is very easy to use and it is very light  on the processor,  i just want the developers to add more content.

People developing the software should be people that actually produce drawings for a living not some software geek that has no clue or concept about what it takes to do a full set of drawings.

This is a small problem and they probably have fixed it on more recent releases. Many of the problems I believed I had I've solved over time by looking for a solution that was right in front of me.

I liked the software up until it's latest version (x12). Unfortueantly the program is not backward compatible so drawings created in x12 can not be opened in earlier versions.

Great tool to design and rendering is also very good.

This software is most suitable for big projects and it is quite easy to use. It is quite easy to use too.

They have a great customer support. They have helped me on multiple occasions.

Chief Architect lights the room automatically and it looks great the first time. This is invaluable in a clients home to very quickly show what a project will look like.

Chief architecture is best tool to develop complicated designs with detailed drawings and information.

It's easy to use and relatively quick. Fewer keystrokes are required.

This software is easy to use and the render quality is superb. It definitely helps me sell a design.

I love the ease of changing cabinets, to be fully customizable & the quality of the overall rendering.

This is hands down the most user friendly architecture software I’ve used. It has what’s the perfect balance of features and ease of product use.

With so many features, we were worried training materials would be hard to come by for our staff.

Once the floor plans and roof are designed you have all the elevations interior and exterior to walk the clients through their new home. Adding details are easy once you get up to speed.

I couldn't overcome the learning curve or the limitations in a timely fashion and not only didn't get paid, but lost the client.

It's not flawless, but it is impressive for what the program can do. It has definitely made my work easier & faster.

The technical support is beyond anything you could get from AutoCAD or SketchUp and the price makes it a much better product than Revit.

It’s hard to figure out how to get the lighting so it doesn’t reflect orbs on the drawing.

This is a great program, even for users that are beginners (like myself). They have great tutorials and the program is very inexpensive.

Once the principals are set up you can really get into designing a home quickly. I've helped so many people visualize their dream home with 3D and it gets them so excited.

It sometimes feels its hard to ascertain how the mathematical calculation variables are affecting the final result.

The thing I really liked about this product has been the simplicity of use. I mostly used it for displacement and stress analysis on complete assemblies.

The product had a very powerful and effective simulation package which, once the UI is updated, will be a very useful overall package rivaling any analysis software that exists.

The ability to perform early stage analysis on different product designs in terms of speed is second to none.

Simply put: I was astonished by this program. I used it for my bachelor thesis and it really saved me months of time.

The whole experience feels a lot more streamline and organic from start to finish when compared to other FEA programs. Integrates directly with CAD software like Fusion 360 and OnShape.

Good software but needs to aid tools for modeling.

Missing components and functions cannot be modeled in SimSolid.

Runs quickly, accurately, all from an stl export. Navigation through the software is almost self explanatory, but tutorials are available if anything is unclear.

It seems great is very powerful for  simulation. Offers you a lot of features and tools for 3d cad design.

Overall I have a positive experience with SimSolid. We have implemented it into the early stages of our design processes.

Opaque mathematical models. Difficult to understand how calculation parameters affect the results.

No meshing, fast solution, easy to use, good for design.

This software takes the pain out of structural analysis. This meshless analysis is quick & accurate.

Fast, complete simulations on Assemblies with an easy to use program.

The results can be very inaccurate depending on the problem. And to very the error can be very difficult because to do convergence study you have to run the model from the beginning every time.

It supports meshless simulation and it can handle local contact imperfections so well that it can be considered one of the most reliable simulation softwares on the market.

Also the model discretization for results visualization sometimes looks very rough and there is no control for that (created a ticket already).
