One of the best features is simply not having to keep track of paper receipts anymore. You can take a photo of a receipt right within the Expensify app or upload one from your device. If a receipt arrives by email, you can just forward it directly to Expensify. The auto-categorization works very well, and I especially like how easy it is to create rules for recurring expenses. Once you've set up a rule to capture the appropriate details, Expensify can automatically fill them in the next time around, which saves a lot of repetitive work. The reports are also clean, organized, and professional. Second, I think there should be an option to check "missing receipt" or "no receipt was provided" to handle cases where a receipt was simply not provided from the merchant, and a textbox that allows the submitter to add context. I also liked the mileage tool and that it can handle multiple stops. #### Cons Some of the UI is very buggy or isn't intuitive. When submitting receipts, it automatically pauses your workflow while the OCR is reading it. This can take several minutes and sometimes it's far quicker to submit details manually. Also, if you add a receipt but do not attach it to a specific report, there does not seem to be any way to remove it so it stays on your profile indefinitely which is super annoying. --- ### Expensify! For both staff and our finance department, it has helped reduce the amount of paper that is needed to be filled out, turned in and then filed after approval. This has helped us decrease the amount of paperwork boxed up in our storage room as well as help us lessen our ecological footprint lessening the amount of paper and toner used. #### Cons Took a couple of tries to get it right, otherwise there isn't any further cons.
