what I like the most about the Solar staff product is the simplification of work with contractors, as well as tax support from the Solar staff team

luck of trust

strange fee structure

PROS

[sensitive content hidden] requested a notarized (!!!) declaration of intent from us to increase use of their services by the end of the year.I sent him email with details, but he said that it not enough. i.e. seems that he doesn't trust me as CFO of the company and whatever i put in writing in the email.since there is no trust from his side, i can't tell that we are eager to trust this company as well...

CONS

high fees, [sensitive content hidden] and his demand to notarize simple documents (declaration of intent) instead of simple confirmation via emails.By the way, who's idea was to demand from clients notarized declaration of intent? see emails from [sensitive content hidden] to all of the clients of Solar. Make sure this person act properly on behalf of the company by demanding notarization / fax / paper copies, personal delivery, pigeon mail etc...

Regarding the notarized declaration, I sincerely apologize. It was our communication fault and an unintended oversight. We do not need such a seal to lower a commission, only the company seal. I've addressed the issue with Denis to ensure it doesn't recur. I suppose you would like to change the manager from our side. If so, please let me know. We want to fully understand your perspective about the fee structure you highlighted. Would you be open to elaborating a bit more on that for us?

Amazing service, works like a Swiss watch

Everything is just great, the service works stably and performs its functions. The support service is always in touch and helps to solve any issue. This is an amazing product, thanks a lot to Solar StaffI recommend Solar to all my friends and will always use their products!

Great service

PROS

This is an excellent service. We have been working for more than three years. There have never been any problems or delays in transactions. The service is constantly improving. Customer support is always friendly and at the highest level—high-speed and helpful communication. I highly recommend this company.

CONS

Not a very favorable internal exchange rate. Same way as other financial systems.

Great tool for challenging needs of working with the freelancers

Solar Staff helped us to solve the biggest issue we faced in the current political situation, that impacted freelancers all over the world, including sanctioned regions, so that we can pay them and keep the work going.

PROS

The platform is easy to use, the onboarding is smooth, the library of manuals addresses almost any question you may have. The support team is always there to support and help to solve your individual case.

CONS

Of course there's always room to improve in terms of ways to withdraw, especially for freelancers, who are in the regions currently impacted by sanctions.

My review

PROS

That I can work with freelancers almost everywhere in the world, and the quickness of the transfers

CONS

Maybe have the ability to create a preset for a contractor's task. I use Solar Staff monthly and we have 1 freelance on there for now so not having to redo the task every month manually would be great if we ever have more freelancers. For example be able to duplicate the task and edit it afterwards

Reason for choosing Solar Staff

It was recomended to me, other products were not necessarily better or cheaper so I went with a trusted product

Easy payment method

It has been good has allowed us to bridge the gap of paying our clients more easier

I like that this software is versatile to be accessed across numerous country bases which makes payments easier for us to our different clients.

CONS

For a few clients, it would take some length of processing time for them to receive funds in their account
