  • Pros

  • The Cadence team wants nothing but success for their clients and it shows with their support and constant growth of the software.
  • Our ability to reach and interact with our students has increased dramatically by using this software, and we are reaching students who we were not reaching via email.
  • Cons

  • In addition, the messages can take a while to send making it difficult to follow-up.
  • Loading contacts can be difficult and confusing.

  • Tracking activities can easily be added into the system to make sure that when students have changes in academic activities, we can monitor and send out the required tracking mechanisms.
  • The user interface is fairly clean and intuitive for the most part, and training has been very simple to accomplish for most of the end users - particularly for students and faculty.
  • Cons

  • Once I posted the financial aid of the student, I could not delete it anymore if I happen to make a mistake. I have to make another entry to negate it.
  • An example of this is syncing Campus Cafe with Canvas LMS- students who withdraw or drop would sometimes sync with Canvas and other times it would not. So there was that inconsistency.
