AppointmentPlus is a cloud-based scheduling tool suitable for businesses of all sizes and industries. It offers configurable appointment setting tools, embeddable features for websites, HIPAA-compliant appointment scheduling for patients and calendar management.

Users can create and maintain individual calendars as well as calendars for their staff. Account access levels can be configured to determine who can edit information and modify appointments. AppointmentPlus enables users to book rooms, create waiting lists and set available hours, among other features.

Clients who set up appointments using the software receive email and text notifications to remind them of appointment times. Users also receive notifications when clients create or modify appointments, make purchases or are added to a waiting list. AppointmentPlus tracks client history and can export data in Excel or HTML format. A “Book Now” button can be embedded in users' existing websites.

Support is provided through an online knowledge base. Monthly and annual billing options are available.

    Although I really enjoy the color-coding and ease of google calendar, AppointmentPlus' front-facing feature makes my job so much easier because clients can book and cancel their own appointments by creating a username and login. The amount of messages in our business inbox has decreased significantly since we started using AP, which has been a huge time saver.

    Pros

    The override feature was very useful for being able to set a front-facing max, but gave the back-end users the option to schedule additional persons when necessary.

    Cons

    Takes a long time to sync with google calendar if you are creating recurring sessions for several months. Does not sync with google calendar if you are creating a past event.

    There's a nice option to color code appointments, marking them as seen or no show etc.

    Cons

    Maybe it was the way my company set it up, but there are five different screens I have to click through just to make an appointment for a person.

    Also you have to hit refresh all the time to see if anyone new scheduled or dropped out.

    It is straightforward and efficient when it comes to consolidating and accepting appointments online.

    Cons

    I think the main downside is the pricing as it is a bit higher than its competitors. There are problems with calendar sync as well.

    Having appointments made for me remotely.

    Pros

    I like that is easy to use and allow to block specific period of time during one day. You can also use different locations (if you are in the manager team) and you can view all your appointments in list format.

    Cons

    The app is easy to use but professionals could benefit from features like easily linking appointments to the google calendar, or receive alerts when appointments are being booked or send an email. It could also be helpful if it would allow you to block more than one block of time at the same time.

    As an Executive Assistant, it really helps me with my everyday work for my boss's schedule from day to day.

    Cons

    Maybe a little more cheap for this software. And also the margin of error in determining one, hoping to improve.

    The website is easy to use and you have the ability to customize. Customer support is responsive and knowledgeable.

    Cons

    Appointment confirmations are a manual process. Occasional glitches make it difficult to schedule sometimes though not common.

    We use the system every day. The mobile app is really helpful. It’s useful for our remote employees that aren’t always close to their computers. They’ve really improved the mobile app in the last year or so.

    Great product. Love the quick answers to questions I receive.

    Cons

    I don’t have any cons. The team has been supportive and receptive to ideas and changes. Working through the platform over the years, I have seen many iterations. They are definitely heading the right direction!

    Best scheduler I've found

    We've had trouble finding the right scheduling system. We tested a number of them, but settled on AppointmentPlus. The main reason is that it has more configurability for our complex scheduling process. They had a trainer help us get it set up. That was free, which was pretty cool. Once it was up and going, we've had very few questions. It has been very reliable. We're happy customers.
    The Good News:
    -Configurable - lots of settings and rules
    -Intuitive - easy to work with appointments and run reports
    -Training - I thought it was great that we had a real person training us

    Cons

    Looks - the interface looks a little dated, but it works just fine. This is why I only gave 4 stars on features.

    Custom use of Appointment Plus for entry into Emergency Shelter

    The platform is very user friendly and allows for our community in Indianapolis to use Appointment Plus so the community can view open space in Emergency Shelter and then reserve the space for households in need. Everyone that we have worked with in support team and our account representative have been easy to work with and have met our needs with this atypical use of their system. The training was simple and easy to facilitate which helped our community use a new software to provide access to emergency shelter in a way Indianapolis has not been able to do prior. As far as cost, it was far below what our other more custom options were with a far simpler view and process.

    Cons

    Some of the functions of the software are not items we use for our application. We wish we could hide a few more of these but it does not affect the reliability and function side that we need.

    Once you learn it, it's simple to use. The support has been outstanding - quick and knowledgeable. It does everything we need it to do.

    Cons

    It would be helpful if it had a horizontal calendar view, but the current calendar page works fine for us.

    Very responsive customer service. We also like that we are able to do most things ourselves, without needing to rely on help (e.g. pull reports, change notifications, change schedules, etc).

    Cons

    Some work arounds required - some additional flexibility in the fields would make for a cleaner user experience for end users, but overall the product fits our needs.

    I think, for the money, it is a great product. It's just that we don't have the money to launch such a system as a nonprofit facility.

    Pros

    I like that the client can make their own appointment and automatically get reminders through text or email. The client is also responsible for cancelling the appointment.

    Cons

    I think the only thing I found aI did not like was the price for the software. We are a non-profit and it is a little steep.

    It is super easy to use - eliminates phone calls which I hate to do. Customer service is great. A very reliable app!

    Cons

    Not many cons at all. The reports were sort of confusing to me at first but I figured it out. I guess just a little pricier than I had wanted.

    It is extremely easy to use and plug in appointments. We can see schedules across multiple studios which makes coordinating easy. It syncs well with our client profiles and the color coordination keep it super organized!

    Cons

    While easy to use the design could use an update. It is very simple which is nice, but has an outdated feel. Otherwise it does what it needs to!

    The auto email notifications and the reports that can be generated. I also like how user friendly the customer view is, and the ability to customize it.

    Works great for our small business. We have multiple different departments and services that we offer and with this program, we can split them up and keep track of all of their appointments for the day. They can also leave themselves or the office notes to add to the customer profiles or for whatever else.

    Cons

    I haven't found a way that I can look at more than service as a week view. Sometimes that would come in handy.

    So easy to keep up with appointments for all of our different departments that we run. Great that our drivers can log into it as well and keep up with what they have for the day and even make the office notes.

    I was able to enter in all the medical
    Appointments and it also took the information of the person that I can use for the future.

    Cons

    I could only add appointments but not activities or ped days or meetings. I had to make the other members on my team also have an account to add their name of who was doing what.
