ClickBid is a cloud-based mobile bidding and auction management solution designed for small and midsize businesses. It offers event licensing, mass messaging and payment processing functionalities within a suite.
ClickBid enables users to collect bids, register bidders and manage check-ins and check-outs through the mobile app. The solution allows users to search bidders by name, a function that can be used by volunteers during bidder check-ins. During the bidding process, bidders can view the list of available items and current bidding amounts on the mobile application. Bidders can also check the status of their selected items by clicking on the “My Bids” button.
After an event, ClickBid can send notifications to the winners along with printer-compatible receipts. The solution integrates with payment portals such as Authorize.net, Stripe, Moneris, Braintree and Beanstream.

Easy viewing of a silent auction
It was very easy to use and had a pretty smooth interface. Easy to download and set up when tens of thousands of people were all doing the same!
It's just one more application that has a very specific use; not something I'd keep around on my devices for their than the exact time I need to use it.

Our guests had a great experience with the software and felt that our auction checkin, bidding, and checkout experience were amongst the best.
Clickbid is a auction software that is easy to use. Guests can login before arriving to the event, place bids remotely or at the event, and checkout all from the convenience of their cell phone.
Clickbid does not provide the opportunity for multiple users to access the account with their own access information.

This is our third year using ClickBid for our event. They have always been great to work with. Their customer support is outstanding!
Ease of use.
The ticketing and bidder systems do not "talk" to each other.
Sometimes pictures and bid increments change once they have been saved. It would be great if there was some way to "lock" these in so that once they are saved, they won't change unless someone goes in and changes them.

Great feedback! We are working on providing more integration with tickets and bidders. Our goal is not to automatically assign bidders from ticket sales. In the past, this has confused clients and created duplicates. However, we continue to look at ways to seamlessly move guests to bidders without any confusion.

This was our first time using an online bidding platform and we have the somewhat unique set-up of having an opening party with an artwork silent auction that remains open for two weeks until the three-day weekend event with visitors walking through the gallery having the option to bid. We learned a lot about our procedures --what worked, and what didn't.
It was great having a a way for bidders to continue to bid after they left the physical auction.
We had trouble with authorize.net check out not accepting payment due to error codes, first with addresses, then with decimals (Code: 619)
¿Whoops! There was an error processing your payment. The specific error was: Transaction was not successful. Code: 619 The 'AnetApi/xml/v1/schema/AnetApiSchema.xsd:amount' element is invalid - The value '39.877675' is invalid according to its datatype 'Decimal' - The FractionDigits constraint failed.¿
Next time around we may just not use Authorize and use ClickBid's processor instead.
Many visitors mentioned wanting to see signage near the artwork stating the current bid and how many bids the the piece currently had. It would be great if the admin had the option of a notification for each new bid (instead of scanning the leader board). That way we could utilize our volunteers to update the pieces in real time during the auction.

We loved ClickBid. The product was intuitive and easy to use and the customer service was superior. I wish all products worked this easily and had the support of ClickBid. We had a goal of raising $40,000 at our event and were able to raise $120,000! Thanks, in no small part, to ClickBid and the online bidding process. And the price is fair and I appreciated knowing exactly how much it would be upfront - no hidden costs and no percentage of the fees!

The application was extremely easy to configure and implement. The staff was very responsive and "above and beyond" helpful. Bidders were able to easily sign up, bid and check themselves out at the end of the night and while support was on standby we didn't need to contact them once during the event. Great application with built in and intuitive features that allowed us to focus on the attendees and overall experience of the event! I highly recommend using Click Bid for your event!

ClickBid is easy to use and affordable. We used it for our live and silent auction. Loved the support via email leading up to the event (thanks Lisa!), and the phone support night-of.
The only thing we would like to see is a way to start the auction early - with ability for attendees to register themselves and not duplicate themselves if we have already entered them into the system.
Otherwise, it was great! All our guests raved about how this is the first time they have been able to figure out an online auction. Another big plus was the mass texting. We will definitely use this system again next year.

We had an event in February with ClickBid. Went great. Great value overall in price/product, very happy client.

We found ClickBid to be intuitive and easy to use. This was true for both those of us setting up the ticket page and auction items before the event, and our guests during the event. Customer service has been very responsive and patient with us (we were new to electronic bidding and they walked us through everything).
The first year we used ClickBid two reps attended and helped out at the event. The second year we had only one person. They were very good at training our volunteer help for the evening, answering our questions, our guests questions, and sending out texts. We probably could do without a rep our upcoming third year, but I'm not sure we want to!
As a non-profit organization costs is always a consideration. ClickBid has been a low cost alternative, but not a 'cheap' one.

I used ClickBid for one of our charity events in 2015. It was the first time we took the leap and moved from a very tedious paper process to an online software. From the beginning ClickBid's customer service was excellent, they understood that we were new and they always had a solution for all of our issues. We were able to open the silent auction 3 days earlier which created a lot of buzz. We were able to achieve over 106% of the market value of the donated items, compared to 80% in previous years. They have the option of just donating cash online and that was a huge success for people that were not interested in the silent auction items. The check out process, which used to be a nightmare, was so fast and easy. We were just so pleased, and the customer rep onsite (Jennifer Ruprich) was excellent, she was very patient and helpful.
1. Very easy to use for the bidders.
2. Check out process was AMAZING.
3. Batch uploading of pictures and items is a HUGE time saver.
4. Last minute donations were easily added to the catalog.
5. Their customer service is the absolute best.
6. Cash donations are easy to make.
The comes are more for the Silent Auction team that is uploading the information.
1. Could not combine donations to group them as a package offering.
2. Had no control of the picture size.
3. Could not display multiple pictures for the same item.
4. Could not print out display sheets for each item.
5. Could not create a pdf of the catalog that looked presentable, with pictures.

Excellent analysis of the pros and cons. Over the summer we plan to release several new features including multiple images, robust catalog guides using MS Word and photo editing (cropping, rotating, resizing).

We have been using ClickBid for our auction for the past four years and will be using them again this year. The software is easy to use and has helped us to increase revenue. We are able to have donors who aren't able to attend our event bid on items. The ClickBid team is great to work and with and every year they have made updates to the product to make it even better! The cost of using the product is very reasonable compared to some of the other products out there. I can't say enough good things about ClickBid!
Lindsay from Mercy High School
ClickBid is so easy to use both as an attendee and as the event planner. The onsite staff makes the event run seamlessly. Ahead of time the customer service is very hands on and always available to answer questions. We highly recommend ClickBid!
