We were supposed to be auction my prints at an event in London that was cancelled duu to Covid and then had to either postpone the idea for ages or do it online.

Found it difficult to get the colour options for the main page and the lot items right - it gives several options but none showed.

This put off a lot of guests as they deemed it too much information or too much hard work when they didn't 'plan' on buying anything.

Could of had clearer information on having a silent auction and live auction integrated. This was quite difficult to understand and was not set up until the event start time.

My questions are always answered very quickly and there is always someone willing to walk me through what I'm doing. The team is wonderful over there.

That basically doubled the amount of data entry for me. I found the program far too difficult to use with volunteers - way too much of a learning curve.

We ended up losing money based on the total cost of the program.

Greater Giving has pivoted to help nonprofits run virtual fundraising events given the current environment. Super helpful and allows guests to bid and donate via their phone.

If 501 Auction had the same price as this one, I would go with 501 no questions asked. This one has a better price and better annual plan, but boy oh boy, it was hard to use.

This has been a large improvement over  the older versions. It is quick and easy for our volunteers to use.

Nice set of features for the cost. Online auctions have been a tremendous benefit for our organization.

I would say that it's hard to figure out, and there should be more capabilities for such an expensive program.

Some of the nuances in processing payments can be a bit tricky, and are not intuitive when teaching others how to use the softeware.

Easy to use, very user friendly, reconciles wonderfully, great bang for the buck, best affordable software out there to account for your fundraising event.

It can sometime time out when your are in a conference center wifi. Logging in can be confusing for volunteers.

Admin interface is sometimes difficult to work with, and could use a redesign. Reporting is also a bit cumbersome.

I think it is VERY hard to navigate and very hard to set up a set.

Greater Giving provides all the functionality we need at a very reasonable price. The event registration and check-in/check-out process is easy and much appreciated by our guests.

It is a very good program. It's just the cost priced us out because we are such a small organization it makes a significant difference to our net fundraising.

I inherited it and began using it and found the transition to be pretty smooth. I really like it for assigning bidders to tables and to individuals and for tracking auction donations and values.

What I liked the most was the price and the plan they offered us.

Their customer service staff is always available to answer questions and help guide me through anything I am doing or stuck on. This is great product that is just getting better each year.

Integration of Greater Giving was very user friendly and met all our needs.

For the top level, there are instructional videos for everything along with access to customer service representatives all the time.

I have worked for a company who has used Greater Giving for Multiple fundraising galas. The software is very easy to use as a volunteer and great interface for the donor.

Difficulty pulling reports. Other than that not a ton of cons.

No longer use it for other fundraising since it was cumbersome and clunky. While they have templates there are SO MANY screens to click through to get the data you need.

It is amazing that anyone from volunteer to staff can reach out to tech support. I like that it is web based and that you can have multiple events simultaneously.

My least favorite thing was the lack of online bidding software but I believe they now have that too. We are not doing our gala anymore so we were unable to try that feature.

The best part of this software is the amount of support that they provide you depending on the level package that you get.

The reports are hard to use and hard to customize and the event website it limited in what you can do with it.

It has been very easy to set up and operate and we are very happy with this feature. The support staff is always helpful and aides in any questions we run into quickly and professionally.

It wasveasy to keep track of lots of different pieces for donor fundraising and an auction event. In export functionality, it was great.

Some of the features are difficult to use/not up to par- peer to peer fundraising for ex.

The auction portion of this product is really great.

Overall it is a still a great software that has great functions and so far is the best I have used to run a large silent auction 50 items plus.

Like stated before Greater Giving is an amazing software and it makes it very easy to run your event through it.

There are occasional glitches but their customer support team is outstanding.
