Great for speed of service
This has helped increase speed of service when writing estimates for automotive repair.
PROSI like that you can see all the vendors at once when looking up a part
CONSAt this point, I can not think of anything.

PROSI like the easy and how effortless it is to use.

From an SA perspective
When we first got going with PartsTech it was great. Now update after update it gets worse and worse. IDK if its our sources just don't utilize it effectively or if PartsTech is just circling the drain.
PROSIts a great tool to be able to see multiple sources to compare price and availability.
CONSThat I can't find all my parts across all my jobs then organize them back into the RO as needed. AND that now Parts Tech is pretty much a vessel to open SpeedDial and Rowerdink up in their own stand alone windows to place orders. This makes PartsTech damn near useless.

PROSSoooooe easy to see all suppliers, inventory, and prices to immediately compare
CONSI wish the part is not in stock but they can get it at another location, it would show the time I would receive it.

Easy to Use, Nice Features
PartsTech makes the service writing job much easier finding parts, shopping parts quickly and providing estimates quickly by showing all the vendors pricing and availability.
PROSThe catalog and ability to see several vendors makes it very easy to use, shop pricing, and add and subtract items to the cart and either submit or purchase the order. A few clicks gets the order submitted to vendor and it makes my job writing tickets much easier. Adding new vendors is very easy as long as they also using parts tech.
CONSSometimes I have to call the vendor to find the part needed, they can find the ones that are not fully listed in parts tech.

Seamless Integration
Have spoken with them several times and they have been helpful. It's easy to forget that they are a separate entity and it's not just part of the POS.
PROSSeamless integration into our point of sale software. There are more vendors than we need but this integrates parts ordering seamlessly into our workflow. Previous providers did not have the same ease of integrating and required working with the IT departments at the various providers. It's easy to think it's just part of the point of sale system.
CONSWould like to see it integrate with MARS pricing model from GM.

Parts tech ease of use is incredible!
I love that it pairs with our autoleap to easily keep track of all of our orders.
CONSWe can not figure our to order some fluids on parts tech.

Capture the parts
overall Partstechs is a good tool, but it could be a great tool with a few small tweaks
PROSI like the ease of use, and the description of parts to research and order the correct part.
CONSNot all the vendor parts show on partstech, I have in everyday situations looked first at partstech, then picked up the phone and called vendor to find they have the part or another brand not listed on partstech

Great product, does have room for improvement, but tech support is great so it works well.
overall pretty good. it does have room for improvement.
PROSintegrates with my shop management, shows all my parts suppliers in one spot.
CONSsearch results are limited, and i've run into issues not being able to find correct parts or just not showed on search results but are shown when searching directly at vendor outlet (napa prolink or speeddial) i still have issues with correct inventory location, I can never trust that (unless it's in stock locally). and the last month or so, its has hang ups or freezes when adding parts to cart (specifically worldpac) or when checking out.

Great tool to save time and money!
Overall, it has saved out advisors so much time not having to call multiple vendors or using 6 different logins. We can see everything all at once and which warehouses items are located. We can submit an order to all vendors at once also.
PROSThe program integrates most vendors for time and cost savings. Extremely simple to use makes it even better.
CONSI would like to see all information carried over from vendors own site. It seems some information or parts don't always pull over top give us all options. I would also as an admin see all use of my employees.
Reasons for switching to PartsTech
Nexpart worked well, but it was slightly more difficult to use. The biggest problem I had was every time I needed a new vendor it was very difficult.

Fantastic Addition to our Shop!
Partstech is extremely user friendly and truly caters to our shops needs and wants.
CONSThe software can be glitchy with integrations being slow intermittently. Often the suppliers are at fault to my understanding.

Was one of the early users of the program and have been very satisfied. The way it has had most of our vendors use has made the estimation process so much easier
PROSThis software ties in nicely with my POS and allows me to write estimate completely in one program.
CONSOccasional blip in functioning is only issue we have had.

Shop-Ware Integration
Saves time.
PROSIntegrates nicely with our SMS. Works nicely as a stand-alone product as well.
CONSIntegration with World-Pac would be nice. Overnight shipping expense management would be a nice feature. Multiple vendors with shipping from various warehouses leave us with a lot of manual orders. Getting local dealer catalogs into the system would also be a great help.

Great product for a shop of any size.
This is a great software to use from a starting new shop all the way up to a company with multiple locations.
CONSI think that the inventory could be easier to clean up, as well as seeing repairlink integrated.

Good product !
PROSgreat integration with tekmetric and vin pulling
CONSIt does not prioritize the parts that we select like tekmetric said it would. We only buy two types of brake parts, one brand of hose etc from a vendor yet it shows other parts brands above the ones we always buy .

Parts Tech was easy to integrate and pretty user friendly.
CONSAll the "Notes" for each part that transfer over into our Shop Monkey work orders are redundant and super annoying. PLEASE GET RID OF THIS FEATURE!!!! If we order a "Precision Fuel Pumps Fuel Pump Module Assembly" the note "Fuel Pump Module Assembly" shows up on the same line item. It then must be deleted. PLEASE GET RID OF THIS FEATURE!!!
