This is one of the coolest apps I've ever tried, because it can totally automate a lot of things in your work and personal life. Give it a try, you'll be amazed.

You can use IFTTT (If This Then That) via web or app. I mainly use the Android app, and it works great. There are literally thousands of "recipes" that you can use to cook up some great automation. Examples include creating a daily Google Sheet of the temperature that day, disabling Wi-Fi and bluetooth when your phone battery gets low, etc. You can either use existing "recipes" that others have created, or you can create your own. Very handy app!

Sometimes the possibilities seem a little daunting to me, but you just need to use what you understand and need. Don't let it overwhelm you.

My overall experience with IFTTT is a letdown. And I've held out hope for YEARS. Just couldn't make it useful from a business perspective.

I like the idea of IFTTT more than anything else. The UI is nice and clean.

The big disappointment in IFTTT is that is just doesn't do enough for professionals/business. Not only that, but trying to modify or edit the settings of an applet is difficult if not impossible. There's just not enough control.

I have been able to multiply my content management strategies for over 20 clients within the last 2 years and be able to create more time for other activities in the business that I run. I hope to eventually have a smart House type of lifestyle whereby activity, creation and management are all in sync and working simultaneously

Time is exponentially managed and saved based on all the automations running at once and assisting me with content management after I spend hours or multiple sessions doing content creation.

There's no issue but having too much on the Internet of things and not enough on the software as a service platforms.

IFTTT works in so many ways that it's possibilities are endless. From working with Salesforce, Google devices, Smart Home systems and other software you can easily perform 1 command/task and it will initiate another task to essentially get 2 birds with 1 stone. Definitely one of the best products for home and business

I love how IFTTT works with SO many different systems. I am all about automating processes as much as possible and IFTTT works great to make routines so simple

I wish that I could use 1 command to do multiple tasks. With IFTTT you can only automate 1 task but it is possible to make 1 command do other tasks with the same command but it is a tedious process

In my 6 years of digital marketing experience, I have come across different automation tools but IFTTT holds its place in my list because this was the first tool that made my work easy and automated. I just love creating new automation recipes to track and post my and other's works. Its integration with Google products is really productive and I'm really a big fan of Google Sheet and all Drive products.

Basically, I am from a technical background and I love If Else statement they have used for creating automation recipes. By creating and connecting your accounts you can automate almost anything using IFTTT and the integration list is getting bigger and bigger day by day.

There are some bugs still existing like few days back I wanted to post something from my feed to a specific Facebook page but the system was not allowing me to choose my desired page to create the recipe. Otherwise, I'm a regular user of IFTTT.

IFTTT started a few years ago a movement supporting the Internet of Things and never stopped. It has a lot of recipes already created to work with more than 200 devices and apps. Also, you can create and customise yours. Is one of the best apps on the market (not only of it's category).

Due to iOS, it doesn't work great with iPhones, iPads, Homepods or Macbooks. It does the job, but is not unlimited.

I use IFTTT to make my home and office smart. Lights, AC, coffee maker and blind sheets are set up on this amazing app.

IFTTT was one of the first apps that really amused me. It lets you connect with over 700 services and devices and the creations are limitless. The community is really big, so you can learn and copy from others. It's better than Shortcuts.app from Apple.

iOS is a close system, so IFTTT have limits. That's the only "bad" thing Im going to say about this amazing software.

It is been amazing and know that we have it set up I hope it does not go away. We depend on it every day.

The ability to move data from one product to another product has never been so easy and helpful. We take video content from our Ring Doorbell and move it over to other application or spreadsheets super easy.

I wish that they had other applications/software tools that could use with this software. It looks like it is more consumer foreclosed than it is for business. I still use Zapier for some of my business stuff.

I've created applets to save my Medium bookmarks to Raindrop.io and Sync new events added from a Google Calendar to my IOS Calendar.

The IFTTT user interface is very clear to view and easy to use. IFTTT supports a large number of applications to connect.

Over the last couple of years, IFTTT has begun to focus a lot more on smart home automation - but there are still some really great triggers available. Using simple logic triggers you can make two different (or even the same) apps communicate and complete actions for you. There is a great user-generated base of ideas for things you can do with the application! It's a great place to start if you either aren't particularly comfortable with technology, or just want to explore what can be done. Some of my favourite actions are - sending me a text when it's supposed to rain or snow the next day. Sending a text with a quote of the day. When I clap for an article on Medium - it will pin the article to a board on Pinterest. Tweet instagram photos with a particular hashtag. Sync your profile picture on Facebook and Instagram. The list goes on. There are also "Buttons" which are manually triggered actions, where you can have an icon available on your phones home screen to - for example - text your partner that you are on your way home. Love it - couldn't live without it.

Zapier has begun overtaking it in the volume of apps available to integrate with. But - if you have a smart home, or multiple smart-devices - IFTTT will be a valuable tool for you.

Overall IFTTT is an essential part of anyone's smart home. Our current devices are very limited to what actions they can execute, but with IFTTT your entire smart home comes together with more unison. It makes the smart home experience flow more smoothly and you have access to hundreds of more features and triggers than if your smart home devices just worked independently of each other.

IFTTT is a necessary part of any smart home. This software gives you the ability to connect the services you use in your home like Eufy, Nest, Phillips, Smart Life, Google Assistant etc. You are able to easily create triggers that make other things happen. So if you say "I am home" you could trigger the lights, AC, and turn on the TV all with just one simple phrase. I love how easily it streamlines your smart home experience. One of the best features is just how many products it supports, there are hundreds of services that you can link to IFTTT so it is likely that the devices you use will be featured there.

I do wish that when a command could not properly be executed it notifies me either on my Google Assistant or on my phone. I also have had issues with some services not providing all of their features as triggers or actions, which can make actions more difficult to create.

I have been using the app since 2016 and have loved how much I can do with it. Not only is it an app that helps my social media strategy out but also keeps me organized. It’s really a set it and forget it platform. If anything, try it out for yourself. That’s what I did and haven’t looked back since.

Some platforms make you re-initiate their service and you have to log back in to reactive. This can cause miss posts, but it is an easy fix to log into the app and turn it back on to work again.

IFTTT is an essential tool for me. I use it to turn my lights on and off. I have a custom bedtime scene for my son that is triggered by "Goodnight [Son's Name]" that we use every single night. And it also improved my experience with Todoists subpar Google Assistant functionality. I couldn't do any of these things so easily without it.

A great way to automate simple tasks, and extend the functionality of other products you own to do things they don't do on their own. For example, add custom commands to Google Assistant. Add even more smarts to your smart lighting. Post daily exchange rates to a Slack channel. Those are some of the things I use IFTTT for on literally a daily basis.

Creating your own custom integrations is very clunky. I usually don't want to use someone else's premade integration. And I don't create new ones often enough to remember how I did it the last time. But every single time I find I have to hunt on the site for a few minutes to find the button to click to start a new integration from scratch. Why is this not the default landing page? I believe it used to be.

It's very beginner's friendly, and you can set up an automation in an intuitive way with no prior experience.

It's not very open to changes, and has a pretty limited amount of services and integrations compared to alternatives like Zapier and Integromat.

IFTTT is a cornerstone of my digital life. It automates my music listening habits at the same time it make my work easier. As Brazilian, sometimes I have to appeal to Brazilian alternatives due to specific apps unsupported by it, but I still love the whole idea and execution of IFTTT.

I loved it more when it allowed me to personally set the triggers and actions, instead of giving me whole "recipes". This restricted the possibilities although have made automations more reliable.

I wish there were even more "canned" templates, as they are much easier to use than creating your own custom templates (although it is possible to do that as well).

IFTTT has helped to to ensure that my office is automated to suit me and my clients. I have smart plugs set which, when used with IFTTT, help to start heaters to warm my office for work when I am nearly home, making sure that I am comfortable and have less to do manually when i get back.

I like the ability to link IFTTT with other, real-world events (such as the time of the sun setting), as I can then automate my office to behave in the way I want it to without lifting a finger.

Sometimes some of the 'triggers' take a little to work (for example, sometimes my office lamp comes on 10 minutes or so after sunset, which is a pain).

Although IFTTT is the most basic automation platform, the simple UI offers benefits that other apps can’t. - Picking the pre-made triggers is easiest on this platform. - it’s like, shopping for automations - simple UI offers automation ideas that you haven’t thought of Integrates with other Automation tools (Drafts5 & Workflow) to complete advanced automations

None. But, actions/triggers are limited to whatever is available by the software companies. So, can’t customize with additional coding, like zapier’s formatter. But I’m not a programmer and can barely write JavaScript

With this tool i use rss feed and post to my social networks , i like the pricing anyone can start for free and set up automation , good for startup companies . I love it. I am a huge fan of backing up things. I am also on the go and the links help me keep things logged that I can go back to revisit if I forget when I did something.

I like that many of the options are already built in. It saves a great deal of time from having to reinvent the wheel. There were even some set up that I would have not thought of on my own, but turned out to be quite handy.

It works for simple tasks, but as I got into needing more steps and some more difficult links, it was not as easy to use.

The interface lacks a little dynamism. so need to improve.

I love that it was so easy to set up little ifttt runs. Even just simple things like when I get out of the car, turning off my Bluetooth when I connect to my home WiFi so that I'm not wasting my phone battery or cross posting things from one social media platform to another.

For some of it you need to know what it is you want to do in advance. It can be difficult to be inspired by the app sometimes.

It makes your life much more easy - you connect services and then you make simple rules that works for you. For example: IF you post status update on facebook IFTTT can automaticly post it on your facebook. Trigger and action can be almost anything - call, sms, email and so on. Definitely worth checking!

For my biggest problem is that you can only do one thing at a time. If one trigger could run more actions it would be perfect!
