Amazing Product With Lots of Features

I am on a lifetime subscription to Plutio and was actively searching for a product to manage my business processes. I have many but locked in 2 products, Flowlu and Plutio because I was offered a Lifetime deal and good community feedback. I still use Trello as it is super simple and amazing. Maybe I will be completely on Plutio or using Trello in the future, that's to be decided.

PROS

It has not so long learning curve. There are sufficient resources and small video guides to help you get started. What I love the most is simple, clean but powerful UI. That is the sole reason to adopt it over Flowlu, which is another gem to manage your businesses. Project Management module along with workspaces. Very powerful with customization features. Easy to use, re-usable templates with a library by community I can invite unlimited clients, bill them for recurring invoices and subscriptions. Integrate my PayPal, Square, and Stripe within my invoices. It has also a good CRM module (No E-Mail Inbox, but scheduled to be launched) I can connect with thousands of apps via Zapier, Pabbly, Integromat, and Integrately. I can create tasks, projects, invoices, etc based on triggers like when some new task is added, the new form submitted, a new project created, etc. They are so helpful to save a lot of time. There are many other features like a design editor for proposals and invoices with re-usable blocks & forms and surveys to collect responses. Apps are available for Android, iOS, Mac and Windows.

CONS

No integrated E-mail inbox. Competitors like Flowlu have this. Though it is in their roadmap to be launched at the end of 2021. Just like every business, you need to understand it. You need to learn Plutio and it will take some time. You need to pay $30/month, which I think is a little expensive to have all the features which I described above. White label feature available as an add-on, not within the plan. You can't decide within 7 days trial whether it is for your business or not. At least you need to spend some precious hours to put some data and understand all the basic functions essential for your business needs. No native integration with bookkeeping software like Quickbooks or Xero.

Manage most of your business operations in one tool

Having been an early adopter of Plutio, we've seen the product make massive strides forward. In terms of competitors for an all-in-one Business Ops tool, Plutio is well worth your attention. New features get added regularly, and the development team are very actively engaged with their community.

PROS

Plutio is like a Swiss-army knife for your business. If you are a solopreneur or a small team, Plutio offers invoicing, recurring billing, project management, time tracking, customer relationship management, and more. While some of these functions are currently basic, Plutio continues to update their features and clear long-standing bugs. For the price, you should really give it a try.

CONS

The mobile experience is still in beta, and needs much improvement. If you are going to use Plutio, prepare to use it with your web browser. The CRM feature is very basic, and requires use to use a third-party CRM. Hopefully this will be rectified in the future as we enjoy the single interface approach to streamline operations. Additionally, we look forward to Quickbooks integration for accounting.

Plutio provides more all-around features, however Asana is more mature and is also used by our business.

one killer feature, the rest a mess.

The capturing of clients with the proposal>contract>invoice is great and is what got me to use it in the first place. Once you've got the client, I'd move them on to a different system because Plutio is so flakey. Customer support is poor, taking days or even weeks to get back to you.It's a shame, because it has so much promise, but in the end it over promises and under delivers.

PROS

The automated proposal which when accepted takes you to the contract, which when signed auto generates an invoice based on the options selected in the proposal and then presents it for payment. All in one flow. Now that is slick!

CONS

The bugs! Oh my goodness, the bugs. Plutio tries to do everything, and they don't have the capacity. New features are rolled out with little testing, or changed ins ays that are not backwards compatible with what they've already got. Using Plutio to run your business ends up being a lot of work!

This porage is just right ... the perfect tool for me

My issue was finding a PM Tool that was just right-sized for what I needed. Many of the tools out there were too complex (or too pricey) for my needs. OR they just didn't work well visual. I needed a way to quickly create tasks, mark certain ones urgent, track time (in multiple ways), and group tasks on a board by project. I also needed a way to quickly see how much time I spent on a project. I will be implementing the proposals soon as well. Plutio also has invoicing, and more. I could go on, but I won't. I love PLUTIO!

PROS

Remember Goldilocks and the 3 bears? She tried all the other bowls of porridge One was too cold, the other was too hot ... then found the one that was just right! I've tried several PM/CRM tools out there and some were bloated, too complex and others didn't have enough features. Plutio is JUST RIGHT! It is by far the best Project management tool (& mini CRM) out there for small agencies or solopreneurs. They have great support, listen to your input, and are always improving it. Thank you Leo & Plutio team.

CONS

Any features that I could want are on their develop road map. There is no doubt that we have stuff we would like to see (like being able to run reports), but they are either working on it, or create an zap or API that allows you to connect it to other tools out there.

Reasons for switching to Plutio

Again, I had used Teamwork, BaseCamp, and several others. Plutio was much easier to use, and had a UI that made my workflow efficient.

My one-stop shop for project management

It has been phenomenal. It's my go-to project management tool (and I've tried many) and I absolutely love it and can rely on it to deliver for me.

PROS

- Payments/Proposals/Invoicing, the fact that I can run projects for clients and then send them beautifully generated invoices with tasks, rates, etc. is such a killer set of features - the UI and UX, everything is well placed, makes sense AND looks good. There is little to no learning curve, simply dive into it, configure it how you want and be on your way. - the features behind tasks and how powerful they are, there's a lot of oomph behind how you can create tasks with custom field and a variety of other features which allow you to get extremely granular if you want

CONS

- the calendar syncing, on many occasions the events and tasks would duplicate in my Google Calendar and create a headache for me whenever I tried to look at my personal calendar with my task/work calendar. I reached out to support about this and didn't really receive a clear fix on the issue - which brings me to my second con, which is the support. While it is there, it's not as readily available as I would like and most of the time the response are very minimal when you would like a more complex answer, but I think that comes down to the size of the team.

Reasons for switching to Plutio

For the simple fact that Ora doesn't have billing/invoicing...yet...it's been on their roadmap for quite awhile now and still hasn't been implemented. I needed that functionality.

Best Project Management Tool By Far

Plutio has been an amazing, life-altering experience for the better. I was lucky to be in the market for something when Teamwork kicked me to the curb, and this has fit the bill beyond my wildest dreams.

PROS

Plutio keeps me organized without relying on email to manage tasks and collaborate with my customers. I'm able to keep projects separate and assign permissions on a project by project basis. I have always hated the way I had to search for tasks in my emails, that's archaic. Now I never lose tasks and get reminders by email and iphone app. I love the push notification I receive to my iphone watch when somebody on my team updates a project,

CONS

It's hard to find a con with this, but if there was one concise place where I could find 2 min tutorials on all the functions I'm not using that would be great. But I also understand that with the rate [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] from Plutio keeps pushing out new updates, that would be difficult.

I never considered another product, nor will I switch. Plutio keeps rolling out improvements and has the perfect platform for my business.

Reasons for switching to Plutio

Because I was on a free plan with Teamwork and with minimal notice, Teamwork pulled the plug on all of their non paying customers. I was not happy, but understand the perils of supporting something with no revenue.Teamworks' decision to pull the plug led me to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]) and Plutio, so thank you Teamwork! ;)

The professional look I've been looking for my business in a VERY long time

I'm able to stay focused on project management and not having to login to email/ticketing system, to live chat, to project management, to invoicing system. Everything is in one cute little place.

PROS

I'm in love w. this app, there's a few shortcomings that tech support is PROACTIVELY working with me but I have to say, the fact that I can send contracts from the same place where I can have unlimited customers, and up to 30 freaking team members, IS AWESOME! We are even communicating via chats, AND there's even a livechat I can add to my site, process payments as well... Plutio is just the one software I've been looking for the past 15 years.

CONS

It can take some time to set up because it is 100% brandable - especially if you get the white label add-on- and there's some DNS management needed for that to work. There's no easy integrations like integrations with Zapier There's no bookkeeping capability or integration. Like Plutio would be truly complete if at the very least it could be integrated with Freshbooks, Quickbooks, or Xero

Exactly What I Was Looking For In Countless Other Project Management/CRM Software

I've literally never been so satisfied with a platform as I have been with Plutio. They even help me set it up without charging me. The developers have a pretty aggressive roadmap and since I started using it, they've knocked every new feature out of the park.

PROS

Plutio replaced three separate pieces of software I was using to run my business. I love that I can go from unqualified leads all the way through billing and follow-up with my customers, including contracts. It includes a Wiki, which we use to reference tons of sticky notes and policies within our company.

CONS

If I had to pick anything that I liked least, it would be the form builder feature - not because it doesn't work well, just because I had to use Integromat to change the output of the form to a specific format that I need for my business. It's not Plutio's problem and their webhooks made it easy to set up my solution.

The Plutio Team is on Fire!

Professional. Professional. Professional. That's my overall experience with Plutio. This is a great tool for project and client management, with integrations for payments, invoicing, it does it all, at a great price point.

PROS

The Plutio team continues to be on fire, constantly upgrading their service. I use Plutio for my workflow: Form/Survey>Proposals>Invoices - Payments>Contracts>Client Management, Project Management>Communication - Inbox - Chat Widget - Calendar - Wiki>Survey.

CONS

Ummmm. There is really nothing there to dislike! The Plutio Team is so responsive to users, there is a great community, and it's a great tool.

Great Tool For Freelancer's And Businesses Alike

Overall Plutio is an amazing tool and I'm blown away by all it can do! The white label features are great to have as well.

PROS

The billing and invoicing features of Plutio are very good! I love that I can send a proposal, the client can sign it digitally and it will automatically generate an invoice after they agree.

CONS

There's not much I dislike about the tool. The lead management features can be lacking at times, but there are templates that you can download to help solve this problem.

Feature Loaded App with Incredible Support to Back it Up!

PROS

Over the years, I have used and tested out various project management tools but had trouble getting my team to actual adopt and use the system, until we found Plutio. It has nearly every feature we need and lots more we have yet to even tap into. Features and functionality aside, the support provided by [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and the Plutio team is truly unmatched. You’d be crazy to not use Plutio to manage your agency.

Good piece of software - however needed some improvements

After using Plutio for well over 6 months, I found myself not completely satisfied with my experience. For my style business which has a regular source of work repeating each week I needed something that was specially designed for this type of work. I found Plutio was good at most things - but not specialised in one particular project management style. I feel if they focused their strategy and became really good in one area (for example, project management) they would have an exceptional piece of software. As it stands they are more a piece of software that is just ok at everything.

PROS

I used Plutio for my CRM purposes in my business and it did the job to an extent. I found the Plutio to be more suited to a project management style business (like one off projects or contracts), rather than a business that has regular recurring tasks each week and month - which is the style of business that I own. The interface of Plutio is very clean and will appeal to those who like minimalist style task managers. It also has good options to do sprints in projects and trying to get a feel for where resources can be allocated within the business.

CONS

In app communications were not as robust as other software that I have used. I found myself searching for past comments a lot and not being able to locate the information that I needed from the history of the search. Also the invoicing function was a bit too basic for my requirements. I required more options to customize my invoices for each client and I would often find myself taking time to manually adjust the invoices. In the end I moved my invoicing out of Plutio to an external software which specialises in an accounting system.

Not bad for a project management tool for freelancers

I got this tool from a lifetime deal promo so I try to make the most out of the initial investment.

PROS

I like that you can do pretty much everything with it in terms of tracking time, project management, inviting clients to collab, and managing your calendar.

CONS

A little expensive compared to other tools in the market with very similar and more developed features.

Its getting me better organized

We took a gamble on this product through an AppSumo lifetime deal. The begining was rough but the developers listened to the customers and constantly improved the product. Today it is a very important part of our infrastructure.

PROS

We like the time tracking and billing feature of the product. We have increased our monthly billables by 20% by simply using this software to more accurately track our time.

CONS

Sometimes a specific setting or control is buried on another screen which makes us have to stop the task we are working on to go make a global change.

Great for tracking all my projects

I run a Digital Marketing Agency and use Plutio to keep track of various projects, duties and stages of completion. I can create customer task boards for repeated projects and easily move my jobs from one status to the next and back if needed. All the while, I can track the work at various rates of pay and charge my clients accordingly. This software MAKES me money.

kind of basic UI, I'd prefer more aggressive integrations- i.e. when opening certain software, plutio asks to start time clock

Great for freelancers

I use Plutio for my freelance development work, outside of my full-time job. Plutio has made it easier for me to track my projects and their work as well as bill and receive payment from my clients. It, like most software, comes with some caveats but you can relatively easily work around them.

PROS

Plutio makes it easy to manage multiple projects, their workloads, and the communication with your clients on them. Then once work is done, you’re easily able to bill them and accept online payments without having to leave the app.

CONS

The biggest con I’ve noticed is that the developers of it seem opinionated on some of the features they implement and don’t take feedback into consideration when they should. Biggest problem I’ve had would be once tracked time is added to an invoice, if that time is removed from that invoice (say you accidentally added it when you didn’t mean to) or if that invoice is deleted (say you wanted to start over), it does not get updated accordingly and you can’t add that time to an invoice in the future.

Really loving Plutio. I use it every day for my tasks and my team tasks and if they add the pipeline feature it would be the best.

So simple and clean interface. In a couple of minutes, you learn how to use it. They have webhooks!

Great tool already and even getting better

PROS

The "Apple" of business management software

There is alot of business management software out there. Sure some has more features, but a management system should not be a burden to use. It should be easy and well polished. Easy to understand-UI and have native apps for all your devices. Plutio has all that, and im not changing my main management software ever again.

PROS

Ease of use to get startet. It looks and feels amazing. This is the "Apple" of business management software.

CONS

There is some issue with changing back to english if you change, but they will fix it soon they say. There is nothing else that bothers me of this software.

TIme-saving Tool for Local Business

We are a small local business and Plutio helps to manage our projects, proposals and invoices easily under one platform. Our favorite features is the ability to invite teammates (aka suppliers) and to create custom fields for specific templates as required for our business needs. Simply love the flexibility and yes, they're always in active development.

All in one Management system with Proposals!!

So far it has made my life so much easier with regards to managing my business and having all the relevant information in one place that easy to access via computer and mobile device

PROS

Has nice proposal capability, can auto-generate a project with tasks, so if you do the same thing repeatedly then this is a great thing. You get notified if someone views your proposal. It lets you generate subscription invoices, lets you know when it is viewed & paid, and will auto send it, and gives you the option for recurring, weekly, monthly, etc. It also gives you the ability to invite customers and they can access the areas that you allow. You can create temples for Proposals, projects, task groups, etc. It also allows you to communicate with your customer and keeps records of all that communication, and will also add any customer replies to those communications They also have a mobile app that makes it easy forme to have access to all the information in the system

CONS

Wish that they had more automation for proposals, such as if someone approved a proposal, then send them an email with your calendar link to set up a kick-off meeting. Also, wish they had more API options for proposals as well

Being able to keep up with everything I need to run my business in one application.

CONS

Bugs : Sometimes there are bugs that pop their little heads up from time to time. The team is doing a great job at staying on them but it can be a couple of days / weeks before they can fix them.

Blown Away

Delighted to recommend to anyone and everyone. Seriously, get on it.

PROS

Plutio is working towards being an all in one project management platform. At a basic level, it does project management really well, but where it really shines is including features like proposals, invoicing and chatboxes. In addition, it's well supported by the founders, in active and rapid development. We're seeing new features released monthly.

CONS

Most of the cons in the system have been dealt with in recent months, with active development on weak areas in the system meaning they are constantly being improved.
