Really helps track down expenses

PROS

It was helpful for me to submit expenses to my employer.

CONS

It could have been a tad bit easier to submit expenses. Overall though I am satisfied.

Brilliant time saver

Expenses were a very time consuming process, this has now been cut down considerably. We are also reclaiming 75% more VAT by being able to reject expenses more easily with no receipts or where VAT hasn't been claimed correctly. The VAT relaim on mileage claims has also made a considerable difference to us by adding fuel receipts to our mileage claims. All in all an excellent experience where we are saving money on all sides.

PROS

This is the easiest to use expenses software we came across when researching a new product to use. Practically no training was required by the end user which is the best selling point to any business as training time is down time. Set up was dealt with promptly by the Expensein team and any teething issues soon ironed out. Go live was smooth and ongoing use has been very straightforward. Reporting is great with all reports being available in formats that are useable and concise. We have used the facility to upload directly to Sage 200 which has meant that once the initial set up has been completed both on Sage and Expensein so that all fields match uploading of the expenses happens in minutes. Love the fact you can use as an APP, on a desktop and on a desktop version on the phone or tablet and swap between all of them instantly with everything saved. I have to recommend this product as a user friendly product at all levels.

CONS

Via option not available for mileage claims - this is apparently in the pipeline but nothing available as yet. There are 'workarounds' but this option would be an advantage.

Reasons for switching to ExpenseIn

Their expenses section was an add-on to the HR services and very unstable for a number of months causing major problems for us. We changed for a more reliable and user friendly expense specific product.

Best Expenses App!

PROS

Simple & easy user interface. Integration with accounts software and corporate card company makes reconciling statements and importing transactions very simple saving precious time. Creating all the categories, projects, departments, custom reports etc... in the admin section is also easy to do.

CONS

Honestly, nothing bad to say here! No negative feedback from our users.

Decent product, I like Nexonia better

PROS

It works for logging your expenses and then getting reimbursed. That's about it though.

CONS

I prefer other options in the way market better than are easier to use and have more features such as a mobile app that is simple and has more features. Such as Nexonia.

Happy New User

Excellent. One of our most difficult Directors wrote the following: Congrats on finding this system, actually makes expenses a little bit fun now. My God, did I just say that!

PROS

Ease of use and ability to upload receipts. Also, how it will match uploaded receipts to credit card statements.

CONS

Not sure I can think of anything. It's been pretty easy to use and your helpdesk has been very good.

Reason for choosing ExpenseIn

Ease of use, cost and your sales team who were excellent.

Reasons for switching to ExpenseIn

Because neither system gave us the required functionality and ease of use we found with Expensein

Easy to bring on board for our 10 users. Excellent support from Customer Services in helping us deal with part time users and initial currency work. Features still weak around non base currency claims, esp dealing with fact that exchange rates change through out an international trip and claims may have different rates based on this and / or the rate obtained when changing money.

CONS

Fluctuating exchange rates are still not fully there and our Finance team need to adjust them before claims are up loaded into our Finance system.

Review - FFF

Great product. Has been very beneficial. Would be great to get the option to have reoccurring expenses (such as the expensein costs) and the ability to calculate fuel costs based on postcode to postcode calcs. Would be even better if we could pay through the portal instead of going through the bank.

Still have to post payment through bank.

Brilliant

PROS

I basically liked everything about this product! It is easy to use, and saved at least 50% of our team's time relating to expense filing. Importing to the accounting package was instant; reconciling the credit card was almost an automated process as the receipts uploaded automatically match with the imported statements!

CONS

If I have to pick one- it would be better if we can archive the completed projects so they don't show on the list visible to the finance user.

So user friendly!

PROS

We are using both the expenses and the invoice module and it has really sped up our processes and given us more control over spend. The expense module is really easy to use and was quickly accepted throughout the firm. It has streamlines all our processes into one and we found it was really customisable so we could capture all the data we needed.

CONS

Our expenses claims have increased as it's so easy to use!

Awesome product

We switched to ExpenseIn recently and have been delighted with the decision. From the initial sales call through to implementation and ongoing support we have been nothing other than impressed.

PROS

Ease of use is a big pro. It does everything we need. Support when you need it is superb.

CONS

There is nothing about it that we have found to dislike about it

really good experience overall - [sensitive content hidden] (account manager) was really helpful, and any issues have been resolved quickly and professionally

PROS

It was very easy to implement and set up. Took 3 x 1 hour sessions to properly implement, train and bring myself up to scratch. It has allowed more control across the expense process and is generally very easy to use for the team to pick it up and get running with it

CONS

Some features where hard to find but overall the biggest issues we have found are user error and not that hard to overcome

Reason for choosing ExpenseIn

The alternative was too expensive, didn't offer the same level of control or flexibility it felt like the wrong option for the business currently

Easy to use Intelligent software

The team at Expensein have been excellent throughout. Requests were dealt with very quickly and efficiently with all changes we required delivered first time. A joy to work with.

PROS

The ease of onboarding was excellent. The team at Expensein made the process simple and straight forward. The app is simple and easy to use and has automated the process whilst massively improving our compliance and approval process. A brilliant app that is saving us time and money.

CONS

I don't dislike anything about the app. Maybe over time I will have ideas for how it can be improved. If I do, this will be communicated to Expensein. I do wish Expensein was easier to find. We had searched for a few weeks before finding the app. Software developers we were working with couldn't find a solution either.

Reason for choosing ExpenseIn

We struggled to find a solution that met our requirements. As soon as we saw that Expensein met and exceeded those requirements, we stopped looking at other solutions.

Reasons for switching to ExpenseIn

Can only be used with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and we were moving away from this system

Excellent, easy-to-use app!

Our company decided to give ExpenseIn a try and even before the 30 day trial was over we knew it was right for us! The app is very user-friendly and can be customised to your needs... you create your own categories/fields for users to complete. Our monthly credit card recons now only take a fraction of the time! Customer service like this is something we have yet to experience elsewhere... super effecient and fast! Very happy customer :-)

Easy to use

Very positive and user friendly software

PROS

This system has been really efficient in processing our expenses and it is easy to use as an administrator and as a user. No training has been necessary to any of the users as the invitation email explains everything. The customer service is very efficient and there is always someone available to help. It is also value for money.

CONS

We still have to make payments from our accounting system.

Great expense management system

The mobile app makes it easy to store and upload my expenses on the go. A much more efficient way for me to sort my expenses when I travel with work. I don't like fiddly pieces of software and found this one to be very straightforward.

PROS

I find the exporting tool very useful for printing all my expenses as a PDF. I use Xero for my accounting and I really like that I can export in a compatible format, saves a lot of hassle.

CONS

Cannot track distance on mileage in mobile app.

Very intuitive software

We use this software for the board of Governors and teachers at our preschool school. We were surprised at how quick it took to implement this software into our school. Both the governors and teachers got to grips with the software really quickly.

PROS

-Customisable -Have used other software, found this to be the easiest system for what we need -Gave us a great discount as we are a charity -Good customer support

Excellent customer service!

Had a few questions when I was setting up my account. Spoke to the customer support team and they were very helpful. Took me through setting up my account step by step. Whenever we have had any problems they have always been very efficient when helping us out.
