Fathom takes notes and summarizes data with crazy accuracy! It was super easy for our whole organization to implement and use. Our team is spread out throughout the US and mostly remote, so having this for internal meetings has been a lifesaver. I love that not only does it summarize, but it will also provide a transcript that you can search for and provide a recording. It saves all recordings for you, and it's easy to send them to teammates. Its accuracy on the summarization is insane! It doesn't just write down what you said word for word; it summarizes in complete sentences, provides action items, etc. It truly blew my team away. It also aligns with your Outlook calendar and will update you when future meetings arise. We use it for most of our online meetings.

My only issue with Fathom is that sometimes it gets a little glitchy with Zoom calls. Or if I log onto a meeting that I dont want recorded it can take some time to remove it from the meeting. Most of these issues are easy to get around though.

I am using Fathom primarily as a notetaker within client meetings. I've used 4 other products for this function, and so far, this is the winner.

Could be more accurate with names, but we have a variety of accents within our organization. This is always a weak spot for most. I'd love the ability to correct it one time and have it apply that learning to other instances.

I have really been appreciating the ai summary of meetings.

The transcription is full of misspellings, misattributions, and missing text. But the ai summary is clear and gets the gist of the meetings perfectly.

My overall experience with Fathom has been fantastic. Partners have been very impressed with the notes/summaries provided by Fathom and we seldom have to revise them but do have access to the transcript and recordings just in case we need to make revisions to the notes.

I really like the summaries Fathom provides including the identification of action items and next steps. It provides a great overall summary with key points/takeaways which minimizes the time I need to use during meeting follow-up.

There's not much I don't like about Fathom but it does contribute certain parts of the conversation to the wrong attendee at times and also misspells words at times.

Fathom is solving the problem of how human conversation is not always linear. I've been in meetings where people talk all over the place about what they think they want without ever actually deciding what they want. Also sometimes meetings end with no action items or next steps ever nailed down. Fathom helps capture those items for me.

I love the way that Fathom cuts straight to the point of the meeting. Determining key takaways, action items, next steps etc. I have been blow away with how well it can decifer someone talking in circles and get to the point of what they actually need. I love having the recap immediatly after the meeting that I can skim through to make sure that I didn't miss anything that needs to get added to my project board. I also love how easy the desktop tool was to install and use. I can start my Teams meetings directly from the Fathom app and the AI notetaker joins my meetings automatically. I have used it for every meeting I've had since signing up!

The AI is great but not perfect, it sometimes gets words or point incorrect.

Honestly nothing. I have zero complaints about fathom

It's very easy to use and you can set it to start with all your meetings if desired. I have the Mac app installed, which is easy to install and setup. I use Fathom with almost all my meetings. After the meeting is over you will almost immediately get an email with the full transcript, the recorded video with linked timestamps and multiple summary options. These options are amazing! Depending on the type of meeting (sales call, project kick-off), the summary will be presented in a very meaningful structure that you can use as a base for your next steps. The notes are also linked to timestamps in the original conversation so you can refer back to them for details. There are several options for exporting the conversation and summaries, including Notion, Google Docs, Asana, Gmail, Todoist and MS Word. It also creates a list of the questions that are asked by all attendees, which can be used for so many things. You can download the video if needed and send it to all attendees with a quick link. And when you view all meetings they each have a video thumbnail, which makes it so much easier to sort through. Support has always been top-notch. They answer quickly and are very helpful.

Fathom does so much more than just transcribe your meetings. It has a control panel that you can view like a sidebar during your meetings, so you can tell it that you want to "highlight" what you are talking about or mark it as an "action item". With these options, you truely don't have to worry about taking notes and you can focus on the conversation.

Perhaps if the action items could have title for you instead of having to type them in while on the meeting, that would be helful. If there's anything else I wish something had or needs fixing, support is always available and listens to feedback.

Absolutely fabulous. It has really changed the power of my own sales, as well as enabled me to take dives into each agent and figure out what may or may not have gone well in a call. The fact that I can mark to-dos in the meeting as I say them, and have them pushed into my CRM task list is remarkable. I went from someone who had a lot of trouble remembering everything that was promised in a meeting (without an assistant or a note taker) to not forgetting a single thing. It really is amazing.

I love the seamless interface to have it join meetings, and then the little widget that allows you to mark important things in the meeting is a total game-changer for my sales calls.

Not much honestly. I guess it goes down every now and then, but what software doesn't. I wish it could record my phone calls the same way it does the Zoom meetings.

Overall awesome tool. It makes my job 10x easier when it comes to capturing notes and recording calls.

My favorite part about Fathom is the quick Highlighting ability. It makes my note taking real-time so much easier. Not only does this help me put things into buckets based on topics of the meeting, but it makes it really easy for sending things to the right places after. I will send Feedback Requests to our product channel in slack, and all of the pain points I highlight go straight into Hubspot meeting notes for that company.

Only things I dislike is that it doesn't let you connect to CRM after the fact. So if I have a call that a prospect uses a different email, I can't link that to the right contact.

It's amazing. Support is fast to respond, the product is easy to use, and the service very reliable. No issues at all.

We use Fathom for sales followups and building out our repository of customer quotes for marketing. Previously, we were missing a ton of customer insights from trying to take notes during calls, or forgetting to record with other software products. It's so easy to use, affordable, and integrates seamlessly with Hubspot. It's a "can't go back living without" product.

Action items for our non-Hubspot users on calls are ending up in hubspot as tasks for the team member on Fathom who set up the call. We end up having to delete a few tasks every call because they aren't for our team. They are more like suggestion action items for our customers/prospects that are fine being only in the ai summaries.

After the call is done, I have a full transcript, and an AI summary. Both are linked to their exact moments in the video That allows me to keep record of all of our meetings, and I've been able to direct clients to the recording instead of answering the same question repeatedly. It also helps us look back to a conversation to remember what was said.

I'm afraid the rug will get ripped out from under me and I'll have to pay to access my files some day. Is it too good to be true? Otherwise, I wish I could edit the transcripts.

I love the tool. I can easily pass on important information to my teams after a call. I know my to do list after every call. I can share relevant info to the other people on the call and it makes me look super organized! It's a super power really. I'm really appreciative of seamless it integrates and how easy it is to use.

I no longer have to record with Zoom and save the videos onto my cloud storage. When I need to send a video to someone I can very easily share the Fathom link rather than having to go through the faff of uploading the video to WeTransfer and sending it that way. I no longer have to take extensive notes during meetings and it helps me be more focused and present. People rarely object to being recorded when they can see that Fathom is a notetaker. It's an easy one-click button to send the recording to a participant if they've requested. Fathom deals with notifying people about the meeting recording in advance as well so it's much better for me from a privacy protection point of view.

It works so well, and very consistently. It makes note-taking during calls so much easier and the AI generated results are perfect for me to glance through and remind myself of key points. I love the fact I no longer have to use the Zoom recorder and fill up space on my cloud storage. It makes it amazingly easy to share videos as well. The automations behind the highlighting are excellent. So, so much value from a free product. I think it's great that it detects any issues with recordings and sends you an email to explain why it happens. Very proactive and I've not experienced that with any other tool I've used.

For some reason the Fathom module appears just off screen when it launches. I fully understand why the Fathom module needs to be on my screen during the call but it does tend to get in the way when I'm screen sharing, especially if there are a few highlights and notes already in place. Sometimes highlights end before I expect them too (not often though).

Fathom is as vital for my business as zoom has become over the last few years. I never knew what I was missing out on until I found Fathom. I recommend it to everyone I come in contact with because that peace of mind having an easy to go back recording, timestamps and transcription is so helpful.

Everything doesn't even cover it. I was spending so much time in meetings trying to take notes, not miss anything and then having to manually rewatch zoom recordings for extra details and my focus was so much on making sure I didn't miss something I was rarely able to contribute fully to meetings. Then I would have to spend time post meeting, writing summaries, sending out key points and next steps. Fathom's AI transcript is pretty close to perfect, I can share the summaries with the team and easily go back in any meeting and scan until I find what I need. It has saved me hours of time and it shows in how many other more important things I am able to do during the day.

I am hard pressed to find something I don't like. Sometimes on the transcript it shows I am talking when someone else is but this has never been an issue for me and how I use fathom because I am the one managing meetings and notes so I already know who was talking even if it says I was talking when it wasn't me.

What I like best about Fathom is the ability to search for certain keywords within the audio clip using the home page search bar. This feature has helped me review meetings using snippets of what I remember without having to go through entire meetings. Very useful!

I get annoyed by the fact that the playback button's color background mixes with the meeting's screen recording display making it hard to toggle between speeds when I need to speed up or down at notable periods within a meeting.

Fathom was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad she did. After she showed me the notes it took for one of her meetings, I immediately went and downloaded it. Installing and creating an account was quick and very easy. Ever since then, I haven't looked back and I've used it in every client and team meeting. What impressed me the most is the notes at the very end of the recap - "Next Steps". It is so spot in I'm blown away every single time. I've even had clients tell me how impressed they are by Fathom and have since started using it themselves. The notes are incredibly detailed and accurate that I no longer feel like I'm the one telling people what to do. It's all there in the "next steps" section. Plus, integration was so easy. It's synced to my calendar so it jumps into all of my meetings and asks to join just like a person would. At that point, I can choose to the system into my meeting or cancel the recording. As a bonus, it also reminds me on my desktop of my next meeting. I honestly can't imagine my life without Fathom.

I have yet to find anything that I don't like about the software. You all have thought of everything.

Fathom fits seemlessly into out existing workflow and provides our entire team with value without having to work for it. Being able to implement it and have it integrate directly with hubspot without our any lift from our sales team has been a driving force behind the team's adoption. We use fathom for all meetings, as the ability to summarize meetings and provide action items has pushed us to use google meet in one off internal meetings where we may not have previously. The team at Fathom has also been incredibly responsive to feedback and contiunes to improve the product.

It is hard to find something not to like with a free version that provides so much value

It's great. Saves me time! Makes me look smart. I finish a meeting and simply copy/paste the meeting summaries to share with all the attendees. Bingo!

Fathom is a game changer. It has me hooked. It's best feature is the premium AI Summary template. It's simply brilliant.It's so good that I tried to recreate those summaries using every AI model I know of, from Gemini Advanced, Chat GPT -4 to Perplexity Pro. Nothing matches it! And the hyperlinking from the summary bullets to the transcript is so handy! The service is pretty much free, which is awesome. But here's the kicker – those mind-blowing AI summaries? Yeah, they're behind a paywall. Honestly, I would have never thought of subscribing to it but they let me get a taste of those premium AI summaries for so long during the trial that now I can't imagine my life without it! Smart move, Fathom. You've got me!

At this point it's tough to find something I don't like about Fathom. If anything this is more of a feature I wish they had. The ability to upload your own videos and have them transcibed and summarized by Fathom's brainy AI. That'd be the cherry on top. Hopefully they will add this capability soon!
