Shopper Approved staff have all been very knowledgable, helpful and care a lot about our company's success.
PROSEasy to implement with Shopify. Most customers are happy to provide feedback and we are able to use that feedback to make improvements in customer services, processes, website in near realtime.
CONSI don't like adding extra steps for customers at checkout, but the feedback is so critical and valuable that the benefits way outweigh the exceptional few (customers who really don't like that you asked them for feedback). 99.9% do not react negatively to being asked for feedback and we take the feedback gathered very seriously and it is a huge net benefit to both our customers and our organization.

ShopperApproved has helped me share thousands of consumer reviews!
I'd say it's worth the cost, I know it helps us generate more sales than we would if we didn't have it.
PROS- I love the Stars integration that my google ads would get. - The badge icon really does look good and help validate our legitimacy, we always refer our clients to our ShopperApproved to see our validity.
CONS- I'd like more to do, and if they have a more user-friendly dashboard. It is a bit clunky, kinda hard to find what I'm looking for sometimes. But, it works fine.

I found ShopperApproved first, I also like their badge. TrustPilot looked like all those other lesser-known, lesser-legitimate reviews websites. ShopperApproved stood out the most out of all of those other ones looking similar to each other.

Good Review Platform with Some Room for Improvement
Overall, Shopper Approved is a decent product for the price point. It is very affordable, so we overlook the inconveniences.
PROSThe reviews from Shopper Approved integrate nicely into our site, providing our customers with both overall site reviews and product reviews. The fact that all of the reviews are from authorized customers is also a benefit.
CONSIt would be VERY helpful to be able to tell Shopper Approved that an item has actually shipped, and send out the follow-up email based on actual ship date, rather than based on an overall estimation. From time-to-time, we have items that are on backorder, and Shopper Approved sends out the survey before the product is received, causing confusion and frustration for our customers.
Reason for choosing Shopper Approved
We chose Shopper Approved because it had the richest feature set in its price category. It is a good "starter" review platform.

Great Product
We have been using Shopper Approved just over a year and already have over 7000 reviews. These reviews definitely give customers to confidence to shop on our site and we can easily justify the cost with the additional sales it has generated.
CONSI can't think of anything that I don't like about this product.

Everything we hoped for
Fantastic. After a few initial bumps getting it installed and working properly (customer support was great to work with), this has been functioning really, really well for us.
PROSShopper Approved has boosted our Merchant, Product, and Google Business reviews by huge numbers. The Google reviews was especially helpful because despite our overwhelmingly positive customer feedback, a few upset customers left us negative Google reviews and we were having a hard time directing others there to balance them out. Shopper Approved made it super easy and our Google ratings are through the roof. The Customer Care/Resolution process is also a really nice touch, enabling our customer service team to proactively engage with customers that were not totally satisfied.
CONSThe default styling on displaying reviews on a product page is a little gaudy - BUT we have the ability to customize it, so I can't complain too loudly.

Shopper Approved has really expanded their offerings and ability to use the review information they collect from consumers to help link this to other review sites so that the consumer gets the full picture of a company and doesn't just see the people that wanted to take the time to leave bad reviews.
PROSThe features that are most beneficial to us are the review syndication, product reviews and SEO optimization of product Q&A. As an online retailer we know that the only people that take the time to leave a review about your company on a site that they're not asked to do so are the customers that are angry or had a bad experience. SA allows us to us our great reviews in their system on other systems as well to be able to give an overall customer experience. Product reviews are great for ECommerce so customers know about the product itself and see it first on Google which brings them to us instead of another supplier. Q&A being SEO optimized is very important because it helps us to bring in the free traffic on search engines that may be looking for something we sell just because they asked Google a question in general.
CONSOne thing that I would really like to adjust in SA is the cart integration and review request timeline after they place their order. You are forced to choose from a day time range after the order is placed and I would really like to be able to select for the full review request to be sent within a certain number of days after the order is moved to shipped status instead. This is minor and we have worked around this for years but it is something that I would like changed.

Good Product
I've not had any major issues with their services. They've been responsive with minor issues I've had in the past.

Multiple Experiences - Very Satisfied With ShopperApproved
This is posted by a digital marketing agency. We recommend Shopper Approved to our clients, and work directly with SA on integration and directly with clients on using the service. Our clients have witnessed tangible results and experienced very positive outcomes.
PROSThe product support is very good - speak to a live person who speaks clearly. The setup, website integration and training are very good. The dashboard is very user friendly. The platform is feature rich with the ability to engage customers, obtain more reviews and better testimonial content. Additionally, you have the ability to share reviews via social and video platforms. An added benefit, through some technical enhancements, is that these reviews can boost website optimization and get star ratings to show on Google. Ads
CONSWe have not encountered any particular negatives. If anything, which is also common to most any competing service, is being able to share reviews across citation sites to boost local SEO. (I'm not aware of any review management services that have a way to make this happen.)

Positive overall. No issues
PROSShopper Approved is a good tool for getting reviews. Reviews are essential, so you must implement SOMETHING. Shopper approved has a good customer support and I have never had any issues with them when problems arise.

I highly recommend this software. It collects reviews very well and it also allows me to interact with my customers by responding to their reviews.

Great product, fair price and they're here to help you get reviews
Now that everything is working as expected, it's fantastic! It was a bit of a growing pain going from our reviews to a third-party site, but it's working splendidly and gaining reviews everyday. A fair price for a high value product.
PROSThe reviews are important, as it's organic content from our customers. It helps for others interested in the product to be able to read that. It engages others in the process on their path to purchase. It's critical for us, as it can increase the likelihood of a sale. The ease of use is one of my favorite features and the support is good once you pin point what the issue you may be experiencing are. The entire team will step-up to fix whatever your working through.
CONSImplementation was initially good and then it wasn't working. The time to fix it was less than desirable. However, they fixed it as soon as we found out what the root cause of the issue was. So not much of a con, but worth noting.

Nice service that helps to improve customers' satisfaction
My company has been using this platform since 2015. We collected the 55k+ reviews and it's really valuable for our business. We can track and improve our customers' experience and find suggestions of how to develop our software or change our communication. This great amount of feedback also helps us to build trust to our brand as we put widgets on our site and ads pages.
PROSI like the easiness of this tool. It's pretty simple for both customer and company. And I really enjoy the option to solve the issue with the customer privately so they can share their contact information without worrying.
CONSI wish they have a wider variety of widgets.

Great Review Software
I would say that the overall the software is super easy to use and its pretty easy to respond to reviews and monitor them. You can setup alerts to notify you of reviews that come in at a lower rating than you like giving you the option to reply quickly and resolve any issues. We also opt to send a full survey after delivery of the order and then offer a special offer once that has been completed, we randomize the offer through a funnel that works extremely effectively and keeps customers giving us great reviews.
CONSNot much to dislike about the software itself. There was a breach a few years ago and ever since that we are pretty wary of embedding the installation script on any page that has sensitive form fields, we opt to exclude those pages.

CONSWish we could have a customer re-review us immediately. We often times solve a problem from a bad review immediately in which the customer wishes to re-review us because we solved the pain point. However, we have to re-quest a re-review link and often, they can't re-review us for 30 days since their last review.

Shopper Approved delivers
Shopper Approved promised that we would see an increase in sales after implementing their review collection system on our site and we have definitely seen an increase. Customers have even mentioned that they purchased from us because of the positive reviews.

CONSWe have experienced some technical glitches in the past, but customer support has always been able to resolve these issues for us.

Great product
Discovery and implementation phases were great. Gave me the confidence to move forward with reviews. Now that we have the reviews implemented on our site we have had a tremendous lift in traffic.
