The api is very user friendly. Recommend to startups and individual devs for side projects.

You can test the api and obtain the screen shot right at their web interface. The request or the code can then be pasted to your code base.

My experience has been great with ZenRows. They are clearly passionate about web scraping and their support is eager to help. Having knowledgeable support on hand is a rare commodity these days, and it's made all the difference when I was testing out their services and learning more about scraping in general. Their documentation is also amazing and was something I was already referencing prior to using their services when I was first starting to learn about web scraping.

Biggest Pro was the fast support responses when I was testing their services and learning more about the scraping process. I wished to utilize their services with custom JS Functionality to tune the scraper to fit my needs. Throughout my troubleshooting I was in contact with their support who provided clarity on their services and how to optimally use them. The proxy/api itself is flexible and the large amount of documentation made it easy to follow along and combine it with pre-existing projects I had written.

While they have extensive documentation they desperately need a search bar to assist with users hunting for specific instructions/setup while learning how to use ZenRows. Thankfully, their support confirmed the search bar is on the way in a future update. For users familiar with coding they could also use a few example tutorials about how to write custom scrips to fully utilize their services when custom scripts are required to fully scrape a site. The functionality is there, but I wasn't able to find a specific use case in their documentation. Thankfully their support was responsive and guided me through how to set it up in their proxies.

The thing I like most about Zenrows is the customer service and support. They have been absolutely incredible to us and were very understanding of our situation. We had purchased a yearly contract and paid up front but realized it wasn't the best decision for our business a month later, they understood our situation as a startup and happily refunded the money and allowed us to get on a monthly plan. They take the time to listen to feedback and are committed to helping customers not just selling software. They even took to extra time to help us optimize our scraping requests when they did not have to do that.

They don't currently have full feature parity with some of the more established players like enterprise user management and analytics. However, the scraping works amazingly which is the core of the need for us. They also listen to feedback and have implemented some features we have asked for.

I'm using ZenRows to scrap highly protected websites since 3 months now. I was testing another similar product at the same time but I abandoned because the results I could get was under my expectations. With ZenRows scraping features I'm getting in time exactly what I'm expecting for.

Very straightforward to use, pricing is transparent with how much the different types of requests will cost. Their support of autoparsing popular scraped sites into json format is a huge time saver. Customer support has always been very responsive and they even implemented a feature request I had within a day. It's also very reliable for the sites that will easily block you if you don't use ZenRows.

I am worried about the autoparsing functionality they provide. If I understand correctly, they have to maintain parsing logic for a number of sites which means that if the sites change their html structure, it could be that the parsing logic fails. As long as there is a certain minimum threshold for reliably delivering this information and also fast fixes then I won't worry so much.

We use ZenRows to scrape e-commerce data and run competitors' analyses. We used ScrapingBee in the past, but its features were not evolving fast enough, and the success rate for some relevant websites was too low.

We're very happy with our decision to use ZenRows. Its API is easy to use, well-documented, and highly flexible. Whenever we encountered a challenge, its support was quick to assist, making our scraping tasks much smoother.

There's always room for improvement, but I don't find any major cons.

Our system depends on consistent access to online mainstream news articles, the publishers of which are increasingly using sophisticated processes to block automated access. Our development budget was constantly increasing to keep up with their changes. ZenRows solved that problem for us!

Honestly, the pricing model for a startup like us is a little expensive. It would be nice to roll over unused transactions month-to-month to save a bit of money. Ideally, they could offer a "start-up" level plan for half the cost.

We have the need to gather data from a number of web sites and keeping track of all the "quirks" of each site and adapting as they change things was taking up a lot of time. ZenRows does all the "heavy lifting" for us, so we can focus on working with the data that is returned.

At times it seems like the system takes quite a bit of time to return data, but we understand that there are a number of factors that come into play here, some outside of the control of either us or ZenRows.

ZenRows has been a game changer for me as I tackled a project to build a real estate database from multiple online portals. It helped me to create a comprehensive database for property market analysis.

So far, I don’t have any issues that I’d like to point out, I’m happy with what I get.

It was easy to setup, and once we got it going, the learning curve was easy and we are getting the valuable data we need.

It is relatively expensive, to the point where we would consider running our own scraping architecture if our bill continues to grow. Also, the logged-in dashboard could use some improvement to enable us to better understand scraping failure cases.

They provide more API calls for less money, along with antibot bypassing solutions - which I haven’t seen on another platform yet. So my experience was great. I still use it for data extraction tasks and will continue to use it.

I'm a freelance data engineer and I used ZenRows for a few months now. I scraped a variety of platforms that implement antibots, mostly NFT and cryptocurrency, and some job application websites. With their API, my ETL pipeline runs like butter. Along with a high success rate, I never had to worry about bot prevention systems since their API also takes care of that. They provide a request builder which you can use to interactively build your API request URL. You can construct the request URL by specifying CSS selectors, it even provides an auto-parser, which automatically grabs the data and returns it in a JSON schema.

I used the Developer package and the package provided 10 concurrent threads. I was able to build optimized ETL pipelines for my clients but I don’t know if it’s enough for other developers.

Headless browser and premium rotational proxies. ZenRows is an incredible toolkit for web scraping. And from my experience, the success rate is higher than with other APIs I tested.

I believe the documentation could be a bit more summarized, sometimes it has a lot of info.

I like the concurrency/parallelism and the customer service. They have good documentation and a builder tool to test things out early on.

I dislike the amount the credits increase for more complex requests, also sometimes you don't need to use more complex requests if you program your own concurrency with normal web scraping libraries but zenrows makes you upgrade the parameters of the request to get spend more credits.

We were getting blocked by target websites, and the issue was too frequent, especially when there were CAPTCHAs. After integrating with ZenRows, the reliability of our scraping improved a lot.

One of the major pros of ZenRows is that the service are reliable and easy to use. Another great thing about ZenRows is its scalability and great support, making it a top choice for web scraping.

Before ZenRows we had to spend a lot of time bypassing anti-bot mechanisms and updating our code when there were new detection systems releases. But it’s crazy how easy and fast everything now with ZenRows’ API: one line of code and that’s all. I wish I started before.

Their API is so advanced that multiple websites create anti-scraping protection just for them, so the service is down maybe a couple of times a year, however they fix it super quickly and you can keep scraping at scale.
