Worth Every Penny
They have a great structure and setup for all sizes of business!
PROSthe best part of this software is being able to customize and tailor it to my needs I can also do so for any and all users under my licence!
CONSIf you are not in Accounting, it can be challenging... but learning it has been relatively easy
Reason for choosing Envase
It's a product I used at one of my old jobs.. It's prob the most user friendly system I've used out of 6 different TMS systems!

Our System Choice - both then (2014) and now (2022)
The system is very efficient in most things....but the people/support has really been the reason for our longevity. Those we have dealt with - Mark, Jessica, Dave, Laura, Thomas, Sohrob, etc. are second to none.
PROSDependability. Functionality allows quick updates to carrier files, vendor, customer, and operations. Interfaces with the railroads for EDI, tracing allow for reduced needs to bounce from one site to another. System allows customer access, carrier access. Screens are easy to populate/logical, making operation and training of users easy. Overview screens allow users to easily see dropped equipment, items incomplete for the day, pickups/deliveries that are running behind/failed. Great dispatch tools.
CONSRate Engine is somewhat lagging compared to other technology available - less interactive than it could be (examples: with templates, quotes, rate updates, service plan such as R-R, D-R/R-D, D-D and Should be able to pull in LOUP and CSX Critical door to door pricing to sit under OTR/Rate Index). Operations screens do not make per diem, equipment availabity, and train slots easy/requires outside site interaction. (i.e. should allow for gate reservations and BLUME interaction for equipment reservation and per diem/charges. Gate reservations are difficult to manage/note for busy operations centers and have no allotted field in the operations screens) Reports menu - simple query or "external" links. W(i.e. would be beneficial to have a reports links page. Also should be able to tweak tracing report/auto reports at a site level, rather than contacting Envase staff to edit those auto reports that get emailed.
Reason for choosing Envase
It came down to the people and their ability to understand our unique company dynamic, support both our trucking and railroad services as a whole, and trust in them and what they were stating to be "truth" - the product would and could do what they said it would and that the support staff would be on hand before, during and after implementation. In addition, the fact that updates/evolution of technology would be maintained and updated to keep the product in line with "current" times was a huge factor.
Reasons for switching to Envase
Technology in the GTG/Envase system was robust in comparison for the times. Ease of use and ability to access remotely, from anywhere.

Envase
EDI has been a great tool and cost savings. Customers are now requiring information provided to them within a very small window and this is the only way to accomplish it. Sending information to customers via EDI is not only more timely but less costly vs the cost of a person updating a customer's web portal.
CONSRail trace has been very inconsistent and not as supported as it was in the past. It is even more critical in today's environment but less reliable.
Reason for choosing Envase
At the time it was Profit Tools and they were very willing to look at what our previous operating system offered to see how we used it, what benefits it offered that their system did not and program those things into Profit Tools. We spent a lot of time customizing screens to maximize our employees output.

GTG Software Review
The benefits far outweigh the cons for us. The ability to continue to make improvements/enhancements to make the end users experience better is a plus. Added functionality is key and their staff makes suggestions based on their knowledge of your business and their product to make the best choices. They took the time to learn what we do which was a big plus in the original development. Their staff is wonderful to work with!
PROSThe big sell for me was their willingness to adapt their platform to fit our operational needs. They have made enhancements thru the years and continue to get things done to make our system more user friendly by adapting to change and updated enhancements.
CONSThe one big thing for our company is the accounting package, it is a bit outdated and we opted not to use it. DatNet reporting would benefit the end user if they offered some additional training or maybe a class once a month to continue teaching on better ways to use for reporting.
Reasons for switching to Envase
We desperately needed more functionality than our other provider could give. We needed a bigger company that could continue to evolve as our business was growing and make changes and enhancements for internal and external use. These enhancements save payroll dollars and help solve customer service issues with automated solutions.

TMS Software for Intermodal Drayage
Our overall experience with Envase is very good and seems to be improving.
PROSWe like the board visibility, the ease of use, our collaboration with Envase when we need wish list items designed.
CONSSimple reporting requests used to be a big con but that has improved with new programs that are now available. Other cons would be little tweekie issues that arise from time to time such as our customer interface not showing paperwork and tracing programs that get changed by the railroad take time to repair.
Reason for choosing Envase
We had experience with the program from previous employers and felt like we helped contribute ideas to evolve and improve the program. Also, we have trusted friends at GTG that understand our needs.

Best Intermodal TMS on the market!
Moving to Envase was one of the best decisions that we made. Been using this software since 2008. Completely changed our operations for the better. Helped us stand out from our competitors. You wont find a better team to work with.
PROSEnvase knows our industry. They use their in depth knowledge to continuously improve and stay ahead of competition. Does everything we need it to and often we get surprised with new features that go above and beyond expectations.
CONSWorried that it will get too large or too corporate and we will lose our ability to make changes. Could use a refreshed look with better ability to size windows.

GTG Evnase experience
Great product and awesome people that care about our experience with Envase. From top to bottom, always there for us whenever needed. Our customer experience quickly became a partnership rather than vendor-customer relationship.
PROSEnvase GTG system is very intuitive and user friendly. The implementation and development staff are very knowledgeable and receptive to new ideas. They are the most accessible software group I have ever worked with and have a genuine concern that our needs are met. Jessica/Amanda and group are highly solution driven.
CONSSometimes requires enhancements to meet our specific needs for a drayage carrier. We are always provided with solutions or alternatives when needed.

Ease of use, trust in the group they could provide what we needed.

Envase - Profit Tools
Overall, the experience has been great. From[SENSITIVE CONTENT] it has always been a pleasure to work with the Envase - Profit Tools Team.
PROSThe best aspect of Profit Tools has to be their highly customizable Quick View screens and Search functions.
CONSNo support for internal report writing. IT staff cannot create our own .psr reports. You guys should upgrade to Crystal Report or something else so we can create our own reports. The delay in reporting and cost is a major road block for us.

i manage all operation of the company
I really like it and I have recommended a lot of friends to use check out ENVASE
PROSI think it really helps trac all of our containers and really point out our margins as well. Once you start growing you lose a lot of control. So this really helped me get more control on my accounting and dispatch.
CONSi think we need to update the system.... the system does look a little old

Efficient/Professional
Easy to use sortware-great looking product- fast reaction to any customer service needs and great people to deal with
PROSit allow us more efficient in quoting / saves time / allows us to adapt to industry changes quickly and produces a profesional looking quote which many of our customers have complemented on its apperance and and amount of infomaton.

APL Logistics Review
APL's overall experience has been great. Mostly due to the customer service that we receive . Example - A new requirement came out from the Mexican government (Carte Porte) and GTG has worked closely with us problem solving and providing solutions.
PROS- adapted to our needs - web based - transactional management - Financial dependency on GTG data - integration with our existing business processes were easy

Excellent software program and customer service
The customer service is excellent. I can send a message and they respond within minutes and it always gets resolved.
PROSWe have used this software for over 10 years. Everything from dispatch to accounting is very easy to use. It works great with Quickbooks. The reports are endless and now that we are online we can work from anywhere.
CONSThere honestly has not been anything that we have found that we do not like.
