Great mobile app for fire inspections!

My overall experience was great from the very beginning. Great customer support and training materials. I previous used fillable PDFs and the upgrade/transition to Joyfill was painless. The web app and mobile app are very simple to figure out and start using immediately. I felt like an expert in less than a day. I honestly can't say more good things about Joyfill and their team!

PROS

The mobile app is second none. The most important thing when researching inspection software was (1) could I create and customize the compliance forms and (2) was there a fast mobile app with offline. And Joyfill had both and much more!

CONS

Annotation on photos is missing, but I'm sure they will release that feature in the near future.

The mobile app is second none, simple to use and the forms are completely customization to my company and brand. And the price is very reasonable!

Reasons for switching to Joyfill

Static PDFs do not work very well on a small mobile screen. That's why I switch to Joyfill.

Best Inspection Reporting Software!

I have had nothing but an easy experience customer service wise and being able to customize it ourselves that I can't complain.

PROS

It's a tie between how easy it is to use for the admin and the technicians. Especially importing an old report. It has saved days worth of work.

CONS

Sometimes I think it doesn't look as fancy as others, but it is so simple and gives you the info you need I dont even care.

Reason for choosing Joyfill

It was the easiest to use and they let us do a month to month instead of some long commitment we can't get out of.

Reasons for switching to Joyfill

The format of their reports was so annoying. And there was no way to import an old report.

I am unaware of the costs for this service, but it is by far an improvement over working with pdf or handwritten reports. I do not have experience with other market competitors, but overall we like this product.

PROS

We like the ability to import the previous year's report, and to then edit for the current findings. The mobile from works well, and looks good on the device.

CONS

Since the update to offline first, the software has been less glitchy. We still occasionally get complaints from users that loose information input to text boxes, but it's far less common than before the switch. The submission search is cumbersome. I realize we have our sites setup unconventionally, but searches for buildings with two digits to not return results for that building, or anything even close for that matter.

Joyfill has become in a great suport for our service

I do not have to use paper and formats that normally we have to fill on the field, I can access all my data every time, also our clients, you can download reports, etc, and the most important thing is that my JOYFILL administrator just hear all my suggestion and he tries to do the best in order to comply it !!!

I cannot scan fire extinguishers' QR and BAR codes

Almost Perfect Inspection Reports Management Software

We have really come to enjoy using Joyfill. It has really helped streamline our inspection report management. Customer service has always been great, and the price is very accessible.

PROS

There are several things I love about this software. We do a lot of repeat inspections and were looking for something that would speed things up. The fact that you can choose certain cells to be "pre-filled" every time you duplicate an existing report (e.g. name/address, equiment info, etc.) cuts down on time spent filling out reports. The ability to create custom reports was huge as well. We have a niche business and try to create custom reports for each individual client. I've tried several other programs, and this is the first one that gave me the freedom to customize without having to pay extra. Also, the sync between the app and desktop is very reliable.

CONS

There are a couple of small coding issues that bug me about this software. For example, you cannot tab backwards inside of a table. This is small, but it's a bit of a time-waster for me when I'm creating a new report and need to grab my mouse to correct something instead of tabbing backwards. Also, I wish you could select multiple cells at once for options like copy & paste. On longer reports, it can get tedious to having to input repeat information one cell at a time. (In that same vein, keyboard shortcuts for things like duplicating and deleting cells aren't as intuitive as I would like for them to be.) For the most part, these are small issues I would like to see improved, but they are by no means deal breakers.

The process of creating, duplicating, and signing reports (as well as filling them out on a tablet) was tedious and unreliable.

Joyfill is a great app for my division.

It is a wonderful overall app for all the reports and information I need with my customers!

PROS

It has great features! Ease of completing paperwork on site. Storing customers and paperwork online makes for easy access. Customer support has always been a quick and productive.

CONS

Would like to have a conversion section, where I could import old Excell form device lists, into Joyfill forms to cut down on data input.

Exceeding Expectations

Joyful has made my everyday tasks more enjoyable and swift! I look forward to using it daily because it allows me to get more of what I need to do, done. Not only am I able to do a days worth of work within a few hours, It makes catching up easier too!

PROS

This software allowed a mass of information to be transferred with ease and organizational flow. What used to take me hours, now takes me minutes.

CONS

I would like to see more small time features added such as icons and other different variations to allow more acute referencing so to speak.

Joyfill

PROS

The on the go factor is the most helpful feature for our company. We often have on-the-fly inspections so its nice to be able to plug a customer in at the office and all the info is ready when our inspector reaches the job site.

CONS

Before Joyfill, it was called Docspace and there was a feature that allowed one to link the specific form/s to each job, after transitioning to Joyfill that feature was done away with. Navigation for created forms/submissions has proven somewhat difficult on mobile devices for our technicians, so losing that link feature was a huge bummer for our company.

Joyfill Gets the Job done

Overall experience has been great. Customer support has been great. Ease of use is pretty simple too.

PROS

The best part of using Joyfill, is the ease of making your reports, and the flexibility of making changes. It's also pretty easy to use, and many of the features are intuitive to use.

CONS

Every once in a while syncing will have a conflict. When this happens you do get notified, which is good, that tells you something went wrong. When this happens you should probably revisit your report to ensure everything synced properly, because on occasion i will notice that some of my sentences in the discrepancy section were not completed fully. Overall, I appreciate the flexibility of the product so much that I am willing to deal with this small inconvenience.

[SENSITIVE CONTENT] called me one day, and I was actually thinking about how much work I had ahead of me updating my reports. We scheduled a virtual meeting and i loved the fact that you can make the reports just about any way you want. That was a huge selling point for me. Also updating to newer code editions in the future was going to be simple.

Overall, I am very pleased with the experience so far. I can walk into an inspection and do my inspection and fill out the report at the same time. No more finishing an inspection and then spending hours writing up the report!

PROS

The ease of use and the ability to integrate with our day to day jobs of inspections is the greatest thing about Joyfill. Changing our processes is always a pain, but the ease of use of Joyfill went a long way in alleviating that.

CONS

The designing of the forms is what I like least about the software. I have a laundry list of ideas for new features and ways to make the design process easier. Feel free to reach out to me via e-mail and I'll give you a run-down. I'll give a short answer on the worst part of designing a new form: Designing the finished product side of the form is easy, but designing the mobile side is painstaking and clunky!!

Does not work well with Android Phones

We use Forms for Fire sprinkler and alarm inspections.

PROS

Works great for my techs with Apple Tablets

CONS

From our experience anyone with an Android Platform since the about Jan on has not had reasonable success in using the platform (this would include multiple crashes and start overs). My Inspections Manager has reached out to Joyfill for resolution to no avail. I ended up having to buy iPads for my entire Division which is a large overall expense to remain on the platform. This will hopefully alleviate the issues.

Designers opinion.

We have eliminated paperwork mountains in the office, which is great!

PROS

It simplifies finding the right paperwork from the job in the office.

CONS

It gets somewhat confusing to try and differentiate between multiple systems that were inspected at the same site. It would also be great if we could integrate this software with our coins software that we use for scheduling/billing. Ie: attach inspection reports to service job orders.

JOYFILL Review

We dont have to print papers anymore every morning, I can just check the App for the status of an ocular inspection or ITM Activity. I will know whether they have a report for a particular day or not.

PROS

Easy to use and customizable, Paper-Free reduces our Carbon Footprint, Reduces Printer Inks & Papers, Reduced consumption of trees, Reduced carbon emissions into the atmosphere, Saves Filling Cabinet Spaces, and Better Document Management Process.

CONS

photos taken was a little to small, Monthly or Annual Cost is significantly high compared to buy and print paper, Re-training could take days thus takes time, and Increase reliance on Internet Data

Amazingly low integration effort

We had pretty high expectations and in almost every way they were met.

PROS

Had absolutely no issues modifying the existing forms to serve our needs and what I did have to create was relatively easy due to how intuitive the Form Build software is.

CONS

If I had to complain about anything it would have to be that the customer service can be slow getting back with you.

Joyfill is a Joy!

PROS

Joyfill streamlines the inspection process for our company. We do a lot of inspections and this software is easy to use on the go. Even when you can't get online all you need to do is sync everything and it's there when you need it.

CONS

Almost a little too customizable. Not necesarily a bad thing but it can lead you into a production paradox where you waste more time adjusting something that is probably already the way you need it.

Overall positive. Better than spreadsheets and other options previously used. Room left to grow

Once system was integrated with our vendors and customers, completing inspection forms is greatly expedited.

CONS

Manual mobile sync of forms. It should do it automatically at least daily. Have yet to find a way to do that. On desktop, shift tab does not work to go to previous column

Best Product Ever

I have doubled productivity and decreased stress when it comes to organization. This honestly was one of the best investments I've made towards my business. Sincerely thank you to the guys over at Joyfill!

PROS

I really enjoyed the conversation with the support specialist and his team. Never felt like I was talking to a robot always have access to live people. Furthermore, I l was able to quickly learn how to use the app and for me not being tech savvy that was probably the highlight.

CONS

Coming from paper I don't think I have any negative feedback.

Great Product

fine and does the job i need it to do

I like how you can customise the forms they way you want them to work for your company.

CONS

it seems fine I would say that when I first reached out I got the feeling that these people cared about the user. they worked very hard on the sale but once I was sold boom nothing!!!! radio silence. I feel they could check in on the customer on a more regular basis.
