Best job portal
I use career builder daily and it's a fantastic tool to search non technical professional.
PROSI use this job portal daily. It is easy to use in short a user friendly product.It also helps the recruiter with the similar job titles which helps in the search.

Good To Source Candidates For Broad Sensed Positions
It helps me to close entry-level and mid-level positions. Its UI is easy to use. Its advanced search is pretty good and helps to source good quality resumes.
PROSIt is a good platform to source quality resumes and job postings. It has great filters that work well and provide good results. It is pretty easy to use and has a user-friendly interface.
CONSIt has a lack of technical databse and most of the resumes are outdated. The search algorithm does not work properly and provides irrelevant results. There can be a comment section so that we can put what we have discussed with the candidate.

Great free suite of career-building opportunities
Just as simple as the competition, which is good! Easy apply makes the process quick and easy.
PROSSuper-easy to get your profile set up and linked with sites like LinkedIn and others. Daily emails with openings makes job hunting a breeze.
CONSLike any platform, the professional help comes at quite the cost. I know it’s not a charity, but too expensive for people without a job!

Most Results for Recruiting
Overall this tool is great and the most used Job Board in our business. We are within the staffing space and without access to CareerBuilder we would not be successful.
PROSThe number of results/candidates that CareerBuilder has is what stands this tool out compared to others. Also, the user-friendliness of the UI is positive. The website is very easy to use and provides plenty of potential applicants. The filtering is also great and the candidates seem to be up to date for the most part.
CONSThere is not any vetting of candidates or resumes. You will get a large number of duplicate candidates or resumes. Also, there are a lot of shops that post generic resumes that do not have any contact information. I wish that CB required at least a active phone number or email address.

Quality has declined
As a 3rd party recruiting company, CareerBuilder is not the best fit with our recruiting needs as we recruit for many geographic locations simultaneously. We have found much greater success using other job boards.
PROSAbility to create Boolean search strings and filter by geographic location. Validity of job seekers and contact information. Support is always available and answers the phone quickly when issues arise. The Recruitment Edge feature is good to find passive candidates on LinkedIn.
CONSThere must be a lot of turnover internally as we have a new rep regularly. The ROI on CareerBuilder has diminished significantly. We can find the same pool of candidates on Indeed for a fraction of the cost. They keep trying to push services and features on us that we do not need.

Hiring the Right Person Just Got Easier!
CareerBuilder is definitely making it easier and more efficient for me to source, screen and track candidates. I feel good about working with such a well-established brand!
PROSSo far I am very impressed with the robust sourcing and tracking options in CareerBuilder. I'm able to review resumes easily and send mass mailings to multiple candidates, which saves me a lot of time!
CONSThe biggest frustration I have encountered is a lack of formal training on how to maximize the effectiveness of the service, but this may be an issue internal to my company rather than a CareerBuilder issue. The second issue I've had that does not seem to have a fix is the inability to sort candidates by the last date their online profile was updated. I am seeing candidates whose information was current as of 2006, and this is preventing me from quickly finding candidates who have just posted their resumes and are looking urgently for work.

Great Staffing app
So far my experience with the application has been quite positive, I recommend it as a staffing tool because it facilitates the process of recruiting candidates.
PROSOne of the best features of the application is that it attracts many candidates and also offers a range of tools that make it easy to find suitable profiles for the vacancies posted.
CONSAt the moment there is no feature that should be considered for change or improvement, perhaps to continue attracting as many or more candidates than are already attracted and improve the price to the public.

The software is very easy to use.

I love it so much I bought it
I used the free version and AVG together for the longest time and ended up paying for this one for active protection (it catches viruses while I use it instead of only when I run scans) because it seemed to catch more problems.
PROSI love how it caught viruses other programs didn't, and I like it so much I made it my active protection and paid for it.
CONSI haven't found anything that other anti-virus does better.
Reasons for switching to CareerBuilder
Malwarebytes seemed to catch more viruses.

Career Builder Applicant Tracking System is Phenomenal
This software utilizes the top of the line industry technology to help recruiters and job seekers attain positive results in the staffing industry. I am very impressed with the overall ease of use, and results given when you are properly trained on the system.
PROSThis software helps with tracking, applicant processing and sourcing, as well as the capabilities of utilizing their own drug screening and background check services. Overall, I really like the many uses of its technology and functionality, and the ease of use when properly trained. They have in house training seminars and support and everything that has to do with technical support is easily available and ready to help you in the job searching, and recruiting functions.
CONSSome of the systems many technical and support systems have glitches every once in a while, which is common to applicant tracking systems these days. There is a lot to learn and usage could be problematic if you are not trained properly on this system. The cost is also fairly steep with it's competitors. But honestly, you do get what you pay for with additional helpful features.

My overall experience with CB has been great as it has always been GO TO TOOL for Niche Positions. The pool of candidates is large due to one always find the best suitable candidate he or she is looking for. I would recommend this to others as well!

Good value for applicant tracking
Overall, it's a great system to use. It's fairly easy to deploy and maintain. I'd recommend it again for sure.
PROSI've really enjoyed using CareerBuilder not only for a job board but for an ATS system. I liked the UI and layout while browsing through tons of great candidates.
CONSI encountered a lot of vendors putting in candidate resumes with incorrect information and partial contact information. It makes contacting candidates challenging but I think they are doing a better job of filtering for this now.

Feedback on why someone should use it. Very effective and helpful.
I work for a staffing company and I work for respective clients hence I use this software to pull/search candidates. Whenever I find any good candidate and submit it to the client and once we have an interview for that candidate hence that leads to hiring or an offer. That is providing us with business and this is how it is helping me to make salary and incentives.
PROSSearching candidates on any positions and for any locations. Multiple options to filter the search for pulling/searching the candidates on any respective jobs.
CONSOverall I liked all. Good database software.

Career Builder:Builds careers on both sides
This is one the most reliable job boards I have ever used. Simple and efficient would be the two words that would come to mind. It makes finding candidates easy, regardless of what position you are working on. Having that mental note that you can find someone qualified regardless if you are working on a white collar job or a blue collar job makes recruiters like me somehow breathe easier. Career builder not only allows you to help people find jobs but it also allows you to yours as well as a recruiter.
CONSThe accuracy of location, whenever I search for around 20miles, I do get people that are 30miles away.

CONSI personally liked it but management (the people in charge of the budget) opted for a different service that had more features such as automatic email campaigns.

Who Doesn't Love CareerBuilder?
CareerBuilder is my go-to job board! It holds an acceptable number of candidates if you're running out of options.
CONSIt can be a challenging sometimes if you're assigned to recruit for an executive level position. Probably it's a matter of using the appropriate search string.

Easy to Use but Outdated Resumes
Creating strings can be a bit tricky at first but this feature comes in really handy once you're habitual to strings. It makes it really easy for us to find suitable candidates with relevant experience.
CONSThe resumes showcased are usually outdated and the candidates are no longer interested in any position. The database should be updates daily or at least weekly. The candidates should be aware of their resumes being put up to be reached out by recruiters because we often get irritated candidates desperately wanting to get their names "off the list".

I like that you can search for candidates by their employment status (ie: green card, U.S. citizen, EAD, etc.)
CONSI don't like that you can't specify what type of Bachelors/Associates degree you are looking for. (ie: business administration or accounting)

One solution for all the recruitment need.
Career builder Application tracking is best for getting the best resumes/ candidates in bulk for the recruitment. Also the CB edge feature is fantastic in it that can even able to provide the email of the passive candidates.
CONSSometimes, it provides 2-3 profiles of the same candidates in different locations. So that should be merged and only the updated profiles must be shown while searching for the profile.
